- I VISTED URANUS Indiana Fudge Factory ! A hilarious and wacky roadside attraction off of I-69 in Anderson, Indiana. Hoosiers (1986) Gym filming location in Knightstown, Indiana is where I used to play AAU basketball - Lunch at the Oldest Big Boy Restaurant in Anderson Indiana + the historic Paramount Theater!

Just finished watching on the TV. My husband and I are also from Indiana He is from Otisco in Clark county and Im from Connersville and I don't have tell you where that is... Lol now we live in Sebring Florida. You got us craving Pizza King.... And your right no other pizza bets it. We eat at the one on 5th St in connersville when ever we're there. Man, I miss the Sky-Vu. Spent most of my high school weekends in the 80's there. Lived in New Lisbon so it was short shot up the road from me. So many great memories. Always hoped they would reopen it.

If you have never been inside the Paramount Theater it is worth the trip. It is an atmospheric theatre where it looks like a Spanish courtyard with an open sky.

One day ya got to go to Missouri and visit Uranus Fuege factory TJ. I know I've already told ya that before. But that place a bunch of freak exhibits too. Pretty much ya could make a show of the whole place

A great and interesting video, along with so funny. It contains the best of all worlds. I love traveling with you and maybe one day, you can visit my hometown, Bardstown KY. So much interesting things in our beautiful country to see and do and so little time. Had no idea about that long yard sale. Your Mom is such a beautiful lady. Those cousin ball players are adorable. Having some memories from when I was younger visiting my grandparents and my mom's family in Greensburg. I even lived there for a while and went to grade school in the 80s.

I'm from IN, but never been to this part of it. Where I grew up, they got rid of the Pizza King. Now there's another restaurant that took over, but there's a Pizza King close by in another city. Yes, they have some delicious pizza. I love there taco pizza. When you said there's more than corn in IN, it made me think of the old commercials of IN Beach. Thanks for sharing. TH-cam just randomly popped up this video.

Our claim to fame here in LaPorte IN is the inventor to Jiffy Pop Popcorn, and to the late Dr. Scholl’s for his footwear. We even have a Scholl’s road just SE outside LaPorte named after the man. Glad you enjoyed Uranus, looks like many otters did too! 😂

Marvin Wood ended up living in South Bend, Indiana and was a teacher and basketball coach at Mishawaka High School when I was a student there in 1971-72. The city of Mishawaka has dedicated a statue and park called Marvin Gardens. Such great history.
Uranus in Indiana looked fun. I've been to the Missouri Uranus when living there and traveling around. Fun!

Didn't know you're from New Castle! I grew up in Wayne county in Fountain City and Richmond. In Fishers now but drive 38 and 40 to go home. Uranus is a hoot! Richmond is getting ready to open a location at 70 and 40 on the east side!😊✌😊

Indiana reminds me a lot of rural southern Ontario, it gives me that warm homey feel! Haha, when I was small I thought any Second Empire home with a tower was the Addams family's house too lol - or at the very least haunted. It's my dream to own one!

Your mom is too cool!!!!! (I just watched the last two videos !) FRISCH'S... the first Frisches was in downtown Cincinnati and soon spread all over the area. But 'Big Boy' was started in California in the 30's! But, as you may know, they don't use the famous Frische's Tarter Sauce!!! The SLINGSHOT is in the back pocket of most of the Big Boys! I'm from Cincinnati, but live in Florida - and when family and friends come to visit.... they have to bring me a jar of Frische's Tartar Sauce!!!!
