  • A few weeks ago I did a live 'unboxing' when I received these pads. On that video I mentioned a few things I would be doing to make them even nicer looking. Well here is Part 1 of that process.

    Very cool stuff. I have a pair of Bauer 5000's I've been putting off for a while. Initially thought about "rebuilding" (actually cutting and re-building the knee rolls etc), but with 3 young kids now thats out the window and I only want to keep the pads as a room decor item. I might have to try your paint method. I also have enough computer projects/things to keep me occupied to allow for the patience game. Computer/techie projects are a lot like goalie projects: Intricate, can't cut corners, and require the patience of a saint. cheers bud
