Want to install Windows 11 WITHOUT removing Windows 10? Here is how: th-cam.com/video/4zDELd1aci4/w-d-xo.html
I don't say that it's right, but many people complain always when a new system is out because it's different than something they're used to. I prefer personally waiting, before installing windows 11, that all bugs are fixed and that there is no loss in performance compared to Windows 10.
This is the kind of information that we don’t get from most youtubers..
and I get it if you are not technical or don't want to deal with new issues. But we can't all wait or else who is going to report the bugs that get them fixed right?
@@LironSegev can you please help me, I downloaded windows 11 and it makes my whole laptop crash, when I open too many tabs it says chrome.exe has stopped and i have to restart my computer. should i revert back to windows 10 or do what you did in this video?
@@Bobsticle what is your laptop's specs.
You have convinced me, I am going to give it a try. I live near Durbs and have no problem with your accent...mine is similar.
I lived in Durbs for years. Had a place on the beachfront and then in Glenmore
well done - I just built this new gen 10 i5 desktop so been prepping it for win 11 - just did mbr2gpt and all went great on my nvme drive - but just figuring to see what early bugs appear on win11 before jumping in - figure to use it for another 10 yrs or so like my last desktop since I'm mostly an office type app user and just need basics - also I got some older software I do not want to orphan - but also prefer security related support at a minimum. Win 10 I expect will get ongoing security support beyond the 2025 end date published by MS due to the huge installed base on older machines - I have 10 yr old laptops on win 10 with no issues and as long as they run ok, I see no need to replace them - at least until all security patches stop.
thank you so much for this video. I watched it last night and after sometime thinking, I decided to upgrade to windows 11. It is working fine on my laptop. No slow downs or bugs.
You say “no bugs”, Eli, just curious if you had tried to replicate the “image hover” issue that cropped up near the end?
I have a couple of pc's which MS confirm will run Win 11 and I have one which I use that is already Win 11. With all of my research and my own limited experience, I have decided to use MS's download assistant to upgrade my 2 pc's. It seems to me that most complaints revolve around "first impression" views of the screen, panic because it's different and not bothering to look further. I like how Win 11 looks and performs. I prefer the start menu to the one with Win 10 and I'm positive about Win 11's future.
I spent weeks trying to solve the Windows 11 update problems and got so fed up wasting my time searching for a solution.....I did a fresh instal of Widows 10 and it runs lovely and instals all updates without a single problem.😎👍
The drag-and-drop issue seems to be by design. The trick is to start dragging, then - while still dragging(!) - use ALT+TAB to open the target window, and then drop the file in there. It's something to get used to, but it definitely works - and it kind of makes sense. Thanks for the video.
That is infuriating beyond words! Thanks for the info. Going to dive into this more
Appreciate the updates Liron. New sub and watching from the Philippines.
Thanks For the tips Liron love your channel also love the phone feature on windows 11
Appreciate you being here 🔥
I recently updated to windows 11. I had some doubts, but these updates that are coming out does fix the issues. I am running an AMD 5900x and they finally fixed the performance issue that I had in games.
Thank you for bringing light to this topic.
You can expect Windows 11 to be amazing, since only Windows made with little bugs like W11 now was Windows 7, and became best OS at the time , i remember Windows 7 state in beta was somewhat like Windows 11, bit little things that they fixed and noting else
can you please help me, I downloaded windows 11 and it makes my whole laptop crash, when I open too many tabs it says chrome.exe has stopped and i have to restart my computer. should i revert back to windows 10 or what should i do please help
I just upgraded my old laptop with unsupported hardwares to Windows 11. The next day, I had a boot error. Fixed it with windows 10 iso using repair pc/start up repair. Now it is working fine although I noticed my laptop fan is particularly loud when I am gaming. I am enjoying it and I love the snap windows particularly but I keep expecting that I will have a problem in the future because of my unsupported hardwares.
Biggest issue I've heard is how it handles amd chipsets, causing a slow down and loss of fps for gamers.
Apparently a fix is coming (at least for Ryzen) soon.
Actually that’s pretty easy to “fix”. You just need to turn off ‘Virtual Based Security’ features. 11 was using 10-15% of my i9 in idle, now it’s back to a normal 1% and memory also dropped from 22% to 14% (32 GB; but ‘unused ram is bad ram’).
But these features aren’t causing problems on the 11th generation. That’s also why we manually have to upgrade and didn’t immediately see the upgrade option. Security issues are getting too common.
I'm enjoying Windows 11 on my less than 3 month old Dell G15 Ryzen Gaming Edition laptop with 5800H and 130w 3060 rtx... it is a really nice looking OS that I enjoy using. Sure it has some bugs and slight irritations, but I have full confidence it will be a perfect OS given some time, feedback and patches.. I hope they fix the AMD CPU slow down issue very soon.. although I haven't noticed any difference in gaming performance under windows 11.. far cry 6 runs amazingly well.
thanks for sharing - I agree. The price we pay for being early users is bugs. The more of us that report them, the quicker they get fixed. Some of use had to step up and test so the rest can install a more stable version later on
@@LironSegev This is very true.. I have always been an early adopter.. been using computers since I was a young kid in the late 80s with a commodore 64 (my first computer} I still remember the first time I fired up GEOS on it over 30 years ago and being blown away that such a limited system could run a full GUI OS that rivalled and was better than what both Windows and OSX offered at the time.. I've used eveey version of Windows from 3.0 to 11.. and ever since Windows Vista I have installed the beta versions of relase candidate on my main PCs.. I'm strange for this I'm sure- but I just love operating systems, I get just as excited of a new version of Windows as I do when my favourite AAA game is released... So far I'm very pleased with the way design choices Microsoft are going for with Windows 11.. I do feel it was released a little early though and needs some polish here and there, along with some features brought back i.e. drag a drop to task bar... Though I have full confidence it will get there with future updates. All in all even as it is now, it's a great OS imho and I might be a minority here, but I love the widgets menu, it just needs a to-do list, audio player and a few other things to be truely useful.
Whindows 11 IS WIndows 10 with a streamlined GUI people, same driver packaging same core. It is more like a big Service Pack.
you are not 100% wrong
Ive used windows xp,7,8,10,11.. i love them all,. i dont have complaints,. it may sound weird for others but i actually like windows 8. maybe the reason why people rant about windows 11 or any other windows versions is their own inability to adjust to the new environment. they always look for what's missing rather than looking to what's added and adjust.
I really hope someone will find a way to customize the primary right-click menu so you can add your most used shell extensions there for ease of use.
I actually think it is a good idea to have a "more" menu to declutter while not outright removing options you use once in a while - but you have to be able to choose what goes where!
There are a handful of shell extensions I use constantly, and one extra unnecessary click every time I use those options can slow down workflow and annoy you much more than you would think. The mouse is a great tool for navigation, but it will always be much slower and prone to misclicks than keyboard shortcuts.
Ideally you should be able to move every action between the primary and secondary menus - including the default ones. Advanced users rarely click on the most basic functions like "rename" anyway because
it is much faster to just use hot keys for those instead.
Come to think of it - it would be great to assign custom hot keys to items on the context menu too (for those often used shell extensions). Having a configuration screen where you can shuffle items and manage the hot keys should not be hard to implement, and I think it would improve workflow fluidity power users immensely for relatively little work.
I like what they have done with the clipboard at least. An easy way to manage multiple copy-paste brings a lot of potential improvement in workflow flexibility.
Great video, thank you for posting.
Hi Liron, great vid. i don't have the option to "show recent searches when i hover the search icon in the task bar" It's very odd, I see you have it, but for some reason I don't in my Windows 11. Am I missing anyting?
People hate new things because someone influential who doesn't like change tells them to [I can think of another iteration widely hated for a single reason, and virtually no one used the few other features that were changed]. I'm on the fence about Windows 11. I'm learning more before I make up my mind. But I'm not going to automatically hate something because it looks different, and I'm definitely not going to hate something because someone else tells me to just because they didn't get their way.
nailed it Jimmy! and here is a nice solution that allows you run Windows 11 without removing Windows 10: th-cam.com/video/4zDELd1aci4/w-d-xo.html
@@LironSegev Thanks! I'll be checking that out just in case. I have bad luck with tech, so I always need a path back. But, so far, Windows 11 seems pretty cool and a whole lot better than others have stated.
I love it so far, only had some very minor issues. I'm not even 100% sure my Ryzen has a slow down issue, the benchmarks I've done so far are more or less with in specs. Its a 3600X and all i see people mention, or mostly anyway, are 5000 series. Cinnebench scores are about the same and geekbench 5 compared to the scores I could find on their boards is a bit off but that could be due to slight overclocks or what ever, its not big enough to say for sure. Guess I'll see next week. I have not noticed anything in games. Probably because I dont play games at 360 fps.... xD
nice!!!
Here's my thought about Windows 11 get ready for it and you guys sitting down?
I love Windows 11, it's really nice!
It's snappy, it's beautiful, it's windows at its best. ✌️😎⭐⭐⭐⭐
I tried 11 since day 1 and up to the release date hoping for all the little issues to be fixed, then I reinstalled from zero again. None of the productivity issues were fixed so I went back to 10 with no plans of going to 11.
how do u went back to windows 10?
Does Windows 11 support latest version of Open Office? Open Office is only avaiable for 32bit Windows 10 so I am not sure If I should update to Windows 11 (which is 64bit only) because of that.
Thank you for your hard work and wonderful video's. Keep up the fantastic work that you do. ✌️😎🤙
Hey Liron do you think I should upgrade to windows 11 now? I'm a gamer and I'm quite afraid that windows 11 will bug out my games or maybe not let it load cuz I've heard some other people complain about this too
Main issue I have with it is it's gonna make IT support work so much harder cause now you have to describe what an Icon looks like instead of what the word is as one example. Many other small things as well but I guess we're stuck with it -_-
Not to be rude, but you ignored one of the biggest bugs with 11, the AMD performance bug. - Having been an insider since 2014 I would have to say that 11 would have to be the worst for performance problems out of every OS I have tried, not to mention the way that M$ have blocked a lot of things that we used to be able to do with our OS's (or just made them impossible to find) - So for now since rolling back to windows 10 (for the second time) I am playing the waiting game to see what they come up with, and am advising my friends and others to wait and see before jumping in.
not to be rude but th-cam.com/video/UL59VQGSHm8/w-d-xo.html
@@LironSegev Yup, watched that as well a week ago and did reply to it :)
I like Linux used it little half year ago for some works couldn't solve by windows and felt comfortable using it😏. now it looks they work hard to improve their system but im confused between Linux and the new window 11!
im loving windows 11 not going back to win 10
nice! Any fav feature?
Sames here.. I love the the snap windows tiling and snap groups.. I use to run arch Linux with i3 tiling window manager therefore the new snap layouts in windows 11 are a dream come true and boost productivity greatly, especially when used with the virtual desktops..

Just saying thanks for the video you did on increasing your computer's ability to send a larger package you upload speed the ping command your video it work perfectly for me thank you
Thanks for that!
So should I upgrade?
I have been looking for it everywhere because I am scared it might ruin my pc
and if I upgrade does all my data safe and transport over windows 11 ?
That's what I've been trying too figure out...I'm running win 10 drivers for everything (obviously) so I'm trying to figure out how many programs will stop working without win 11 driver updates. How many programs will need driver updates and which ones? I really don't want to have to reconfigure my whole set up...
why to remove search icon? easy, use window key and start do search with out any mouse clicks
LOL the video that triggered people .... :) Well this video I had to see if my Windows drag file to taskbar did the same and yup... But I use to having two File Explores open and drag my files around that way.... BTW is your Killer network working as maybe revert to windows drivers unless you were using Windows Drivers not Killer's
Hey man what is your final advice for this version should I install it or not
What is the rush, wait another year?
you can try it without removing your Windows 10 - th-cam.com/video/4zDELd1aci4/w-d-xo.html
So did any of the bugs get fixed since your previous video 6 days ago?
Awesome content. Thank you.
thanks for hanging out here!
I still get password prompts from Windows Security for OneDrive. This happens multiple times a day, and I need to make multiple attempts before it goes through. It's quire distracting and hope Microsoft has a solution soon.

On Line Banking is impossible with my Lenovo Win 11 computer. Bank website does not recognize my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thank you!
when a full screen app hangs you have to either alt crlt det and select task manager or i used to right click that task bar now the task bar is completely out of range. but the latest thing is the UAC thank at least 30 seconds to acknowledge. like the computers of yesteryear sometimes double launching. Other then that im on dev channel to help solve these hiccups and provide a better future for us all.
gotta keep reporting those. The more of us that report instead of just bitching about Microsoft, the quicker those patches will come.
@@LironSegev they have been told
Why do people mention the clipboard option of viewing your copied texts. You can do all that in windows 10.
You can pin a clipboard item and clear all the others. Didn't have that in win10. Also have access to all the other elements such as emoji, gifs etc. From the same location
@@LironSegev Yes you do have access to pinning items and clearing them all in windows 10 lol. I'm using windows 10 as I'm typing this.
@@ncktyu there is no button..you have to press the 3 little dots to clear all. Don't forget about the no access to the other stuff lol

Hey Liron,
About the bug you were talking about at the end.
That's not a bug, Microsoft intentionally removed that drag and drop feature.

What about TPM, which will give Microsoft ownership of the PC,
Hello. I upgraded to a clean windows 11 pro.
1. AMD FX8350.
2. asus sabertooth 990fx r1.0
3. Asus xonar hdav 1.3 deluxe.
Everything worked fine.
win 11 does not feel slower than a win 10 but almost the opposite.
I had to turn off the TPM. In regedit but it was very easy as long as you follow a video on youtube or a website instruction.
I have not had any problems receiving win11 updates?
why did you turn off TPM? was causing issues?
@@LironSegev come on. when you look at what hardware I use then you should understand why!
You know what
AMD FX8350 is?
@@LironSegev TPM is required to download Windows 11, some hardware(older) simply doesn't have it and would require installing a new module or a hardware upgrade. As far as the updates are concerned, Microsoft said "You will lose your rights to warranty, support, and software updates as a result of that action." Yet the first patch was able to be downloaded and installed on PC's that shouldn't be able too(blocked incompatible).
Great video ! thank you .
Glad you liked it!

Firstly - Break it to see if anyone notices and then fix it to show the world how smart they are...
and secondly - MONEY !

Slow, buggy, like Vista. Next.
Every new version of anything has to change something that was already working before, just to justify the "new" version, I find that terribly annoying and boring, Android does that all the time with every version, Windows is the same, otherwise nobody will notice the "improvements", my arse.
by definition a new version means something changes to something already working. So basically we should just be riding horses as they were "working" before?
@@LironSegev You understood the point perfectly, do not play coy. Many programs add improvements without making changes to the basic UI or how it works, Microsoft and other could do the same, keep the basics and add a personalization layer (optional) with as many novelties as you like.
