Please be more careful: you talked most to nordestinos (migrants from the poor northeast). The forró and caribean music is all wrong. Brasilia is known for its rock music, like Legião Urbana rock band. Festa Junina is also something big in the Northeast, not as much in the rest of the country. And you missed the most beautiful builidng in Brasilia, the Itamaraty Palace.

In 1963 I was drafted into the Brazilian army and sent to Brasilia, to be in the Battalion of the Presidential Guards.
After leaving the army, one year later, I decided to stay in Brasilia for a while, taking a job at a travel agency. While there I learned a few things:
The shape of Brasilia as an airplane has more meanings. Like an airplane, the president's office seats on the left, as an airplane captain's place. On the right the co-pilot, the Supreme Court and, in the middle, the National Congress, as the navigator, while the ministers, the flight engineers, are located along the huge avenue behind the Congress. Airplanes carry their fuel in the wings, which is where the fuel of the nation sits, the people and commerce.
The National Cathedral has the same number of columns at the number of states at the time, all joining at the top, as hands in prayer.
Niemeyer, in charge of the most building architecture, was a believer in communism and, in its early days, Brasilia was quite that way. I lived in a very nice apartment having for neighbors a senator, next to me, and a congressman one floor up. The difference was that they paid no rent.
Brasilia is very dry but at times, like I remember, thunderstorms were epic. I remember one during which I had to stop the car because the wipers couldn't keep up with the rain. As it stopped in a few minutes, I drove about 100 yards, the ground was dry, and the sun was shining as if rain had never fallen.
    I like Brasilia.

Also, Lucio costa, responsible for the iconic Brasília "airplane" shape, didn't like it to be called that way, instead he insisted that the city was inspired by a cross ( I don't know if it was because religion).

I´ll write in English for the foreigners to read as well but thanks for the insight into the meaning of the positions of the buildings.
I would never know that otherwise.
I was born in Brasilia and I am very proud of my city and really love it.
I think it does give off a cold vib to the first time visitor but I disagree that the city is not beautiful. It is beautiful to the extreme and so meaningful!!

I love Brasília. I am from Rio de Janeiro and lived in Brasília for a couple of years while getting my Master's degree at the University of Brasília. It is a wonderful place to visit, especially in the rainy season when the Dry Garden at the Central Institute of Sciences is in full bloom. To truly experience Brasília, you should stay in the residential area to feel the city's atmosphere and understand Lúcio Costa's vision.
The residential areas, known as 'superquadras,' are large blocks designed to promote a sense of community and provide ample green space. They reflect modernist principles, focusing on functionality, simplicity, and integration with nature. Despite the car-centric design of the 1960s, many amenities are within walking distance of any superquadra. Brasília is the unique 20th-century city awarded UNESCO World Heritage status for its innovative urban planning.

I have lived in Brasilia for over 20 years, and I never had a car. So, I would say that you can go to most places in Brasilia without owning car. We have got plenty of buses and a subway, not to mention uber and taxis. You just have to know where to go so you can get the right transportation. Though people who have a car will tell you the opposite. Other than that, congratulations. The video is beautiful, and you explain a little bit of what the city is about in a very pleasant way. Omg, and I'm sorry you got so sick when you got here. I hope you're feeling better now.

This video made such a justice for Brasília! Even Brazilians from other parts of the country use to say Brasília is ugly and uninteresting, but once you get to know how locals live and have fun, it turns into a very warm and vibrant city. It is true the car-centered design of the city makes things harder, especially for tourists, but also the flat relief is very inviting for a relaxing bike ride. Besides all the video has shown, other places I would highly recommend for visitors are Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil and the central park. Not to mention the mountains, waterfalls and historical cities few hours far from the city.

    LOVED THE VIDEO!
Also, just out of curiosity, the sond used in the Lago Paranoá part of the video from 14:06 to 16:25 doesn't represent Brazil as much. The country is not influenced in any means by Mexican culture or even neighboring countries. The same can be said about the segment that follows - the Riacho Fundo II.
If you want to really represent Brazil I would consider using MPB (Música Popular Brasileira - Brazilian Popular Music), Sertanejo, Forró, Samba or National Rock music.
But of course, the choice of music doesn't make the video bad AT ALL! The quality is insane, I just thought that this could make it even better.

I believe that only 2 points were missing, the Palácio do Alvorada, residence of the Presidency of the Republic, and reputed as one of the most emblematic architectural works in Brasilia, and more often than not, the most important together with the Cathedral. And a mention of chorinho, Brasília is a current reference in terms of chorinho.
