This saw is a beast. It does eat batteries th-cam.com/users/postUgkxkgtf23NRld6bKLCxmOpLdl8xZmfz8Wbq but I can live with that.What is troubling is the fact that blades don't seem to last more than three cuts and are no longer blades.The saw, itself, is pretty much perfect... and $90 overpriced, at least.

Я складывал в большую стопу дровяную обрезь с пилорамы в метровую высоту между двух стоек и моментом разделал три кубометра без этих заумных проектов.

Great design,if someone looks at msterial hes cutting it is treated lumber. To use it as firewood is not considered safe due to toxic fumes released while burning. These fumes will cause symtoms related to chemical pneuemonia. Trees are ok but be careful if any vines are encountered,posion sumac,ivy,oak and saw briars also emit posionous gases when burnt. Be aware of what you are preparing to burn as fire making materials. Its mainly the lungs that get hurt when burning these noxious material. They can put you on a oxygen ventilator for the rest of your life.

you are correct. I suspect though that is the least of his worries. In New Zealand we would could what he is doing a death wish. No goggles, weakened chain bar, just everything that could go wrong is terrifying.

Я вам напомню при таком использовании бензопилы очень быстро выходит из строя шина так как вся нагрузка приходится на подшибник шины всё

Владимир! на 100% с вамим согласен. От циркулярки было бы меньше опилок, быстрее , дешевле по себестоимости т. к.( электричество дешевле, чем бензин+ масло в редукторе), и в какой-то мере и безопаснее

Nie zauważył kolega , że pomysł z rejonu , gdzie nie wdać ani sąsiadów ani słupów elektrycznych. jest w tych rejonach jednak cos takiego jak deputat na benzyne i inne paliwa płynne. żaden bezsens. Taki mają klimat

Dobry pomysł na odcięcie ręki. Łańcuch nie jest tak stabilny jak tarcza, człowiek nie powinien stać po jego stronie.

с козлами-то проще. Стопку уложил и за один присест распилил. Для козла нужно обрезок бревна до 2-х метров и 6-ти метровый брусок 50 на 50. Делается за 1 час.
Разве нельзя такой распил делать на торцовке, по-моему быстрее и безопаснее.

Thank you. I thought the same thing when I saw the end result. Could have stacked a couple of feet of board and just ran the saw right through it while holding it in his hand.

Why not use a compound mitre saw which is way more safer and 10" or 12" blade would last SUBSTANTIALLY LONGER then chain saw blade.

For 150€ one can buy very descent table saw with safety gard together with base frame for working on construction site.
This is one of clear cases when one reinvents the wheel and breaks many safety recommendations. Bad practice, lousy invention.
Great for firewood cutting. That way you don't have to hang on to that light saw. You can just hold the heavy log over the saw. Brilliant. Youn could also mount a vacuum cleaner to a saw horse and then sweep the floor and drop the dirt into the vacuum cleaner.

Probably the most dangerous application I've seen for a while. Nothing to stop hand going forward onto blade if operator stumbled or simply carelessly held wood too close to blade.

Just like the soundtrack. Safety glasses on top of head is a real giveaway. If doing this the timber should be against the saw body, not out front where it can be snatched out of hands.

пилить пилой нужно на полных оьоротах двигателя-а тут нажимаешь доской шину и тогда начинает пилить.идет больше нагрузка на движок.так гробить хускварну или другую дорогую пилу я не стал.ведь приспособа делается не для разового пользования.
сам принцип не плохой особенно если пилить старый забор. я бы сделал привод газа от ноги.наступил отпилил!

... as a maintenance engineer I see one "Fatal?" flaw....
If you trip and fall onto the trigger mechanism the throttle comes on, and you chop off your arm/neck/appendage in the blink of an eye. Zero safety systems.
Neat idea... but with any automated throttle, beware of spurious activations of that automation.
(I myself have tripped on a lump of wood on the grass while cutting wood (with a live chainsaw in my hand).. luckily the throttle is in a small shielded area that prevented me from activating it).
I have seen a lot of interesting safety measures built into machinery to stop the operator 'accidently' killing themselves...
(and I've seen some 'interesting' attempts to remove these safety features bordering stupidity.. (I've seen a water Blaster with twisted and taped electrical cords on a only extension (itself twisted together) while in use in a 1" deep puddle... And another that had its thermal overload incorporated switch replaced by a standard on/off (which left a finger sized hole that you could touch live phase within) because the thermal switch kept activating... (This was the device trying to say "Uh Dude, there's an issue here, stop using this device)... again in use in a large puddle, to the point where the single phase motor go so hot it melted the fan off the rear end of if and once cooled glued itself together with the winding lacquer.
Not for me...the saw keeps on running as he goes to get another piece of kindling. Expensive on gas for kindling wood. I use a circular saw and produce much more wood for the gas and oil used by this method as well as my own energy.
This guy is a candidate for a Darwin Award. What could possibly go wrong??
