I swear all these grades were hit waaay harder than PSA and maybe even Beckett. Whoever graded all these doesn't understand the waxing/stamping that comes with ultimate rares, such a bummer
@@stacky54 True but all card grading services are known to be scams. It's very easily searchable. They purposefully grade most cards lower than they actually are to artificially inflate the rarity and price of PSA 9's and 10's mainly for the rich people who already own them who don't want more in the market.
Black rose dragon has to be the most nostalgic. I still remember watching the 5ds episode at my grandma’s house where she takes her mask off. And my grandma rooting for her to take her mask off.
Dark Magician Girl is the most nostalgic card for me. Such a beautiful card. I pulled a Ghost Rare Dark Magician Girl a couple a months ago and she was perfect!!
pod of greed is most nostalgic for me due to it being my favorite card and it was always a rlly cool card to me on its design and everything such a amazing card and the very first card in the pot card line so it definitely holds a very special place in my heart
WOW! The ULTI's look so good in slabs. I remember the Silent swordsman cards from back in the day when I started collecting. All of them look so beautiful!
What a way to end it out! The most nostalgic card for me was the Charcoal Inpachi, because of how my older brother had found one trapped in a window of our house a long time ago (I think it originally came from the collection of either my dad or my older cousin). A years-old card with obvious signs of being worn through time. I then found one in one of the piles in his collection, and he let me keep it. But he'll always have that original one. Such an iconic card, and a very meaningful one to me, for sure. Great video! :)
I just learned that screwed hard cases for storage are a terrible idea! PSA ejected my 1st Ed. Exodia. 😞 Ima try to do some "rehydration" of the card to plump it up and resubmit at a later time. Sucks, I had no idea what N-5 was, I was like okay, 5s not bad, 😞 it was.
Definitely Dark Magician Girl as the most nostalgic card for me. Such a beautiful card. I could never send a card to be graded out of fear the graders might dmg my card. Nice end pulls tho
I’m pretty fond of 2008 for this game, especially with the Synchro era starting, so I’m pretty nostalgic for these old Synchros like Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon.
Man that ultimate Rare Stardust dragon is definitely a big big nostalgia hit for me even though it only got a 7 grade. I think I now know what to save up for next month.
I think it'd be illegal to not have lightning vortex as my favourite Ultra rare card in this video, mainly because as a child it was my favourite and best card that i always used to use at the school playground and destroy my friends with lmao.
Not a fan of how they grade ulti stamping on the back of the cards, if it's part of the art image and it's just hard stamped, I personally believe they should just pass as nothing wrong with them for the surface grade. Beautiful cards tho!
When I was around 11-12 and 5Ds was playing on FourKids on a Saturday mornings. I would listen to that intro and be hyped. I thought i wasn’t going to interested in the show although because it just felt so weird because they were on motorcycles. But that all changed when i saw Red Dragon Archfiend showed up on my screen and its now one of my favorite designed monsters in the game because it just looks so cool.
It seems like you could get a 1st Edition Secret Rare Exodia the Forbidden One, get it graded, and it’d come back with a grading of less than 10, even though centering, surface, corners, and edges are a perfect 10!!! Yet another reason why I quit Yu-Gi-Oh and will never come back to it.
Random but charcoal inpachi brings out all the feels. Ran a direct damage based deck and rocked charcoal as a defense as readied by direct damage cards. Was a sad day when I updated my deck.
Silent Swordsman lvl 5 was a staple in my Chaos Emperor Dragon deck. The art was great, and I think he might have been one of first Ultimate rares. I wish I had Horus lvl 8 Ultimate rare.
Was definitely hit with a bunch of nostalgia from this video, but I'd gotta say it was the gearfried the swordmaster. It was my very first ULT pull, still have it to this day!
Some Of Those Grades Were Painful. Most Nostalgic: DMG Hands Down. I Have A Ghost DMG That I Would Love To Get Graded. I Love The Anime And DMG Was One Of Those Cards You Couldn't Forget.
Dark Rose Dragon all the way, i couldnt believe that a Card could have such a cool and devastating effect back in the day, a friend of mine played it in his plants deck, which was way to cool then…
CGC is a bad grading service for ultimate rares. They always see the print line on back and they its damage. Id go PSA next time for this lot. Great stuff simply i love your videos. Stardust is my most nostalgic card for me
i’ve never seen The Creator and Gearfried the Swordmaster used in the anime but, it was the first ultimates i’ve ever seen in person. i get them as a gift from my cousin with his binder full of old cards.
Struggling to pick between Dark Magician Girl and Stardust Dragon. The Dark Magician Girl resembles my childhoos but 5ds is also special for me, I remember it really touched me on an emotional level as a teen
Any particular difference between cgc cards that show the different grading spec’s like the center corner surface etc and the ones that just say universal grade with 1 number ?
Mirror force is my most nostalgic, metal raiders was the first time I bought a booster box of anything, and I remember how excited I was pulling it and putting that and other new cards into my yugi deck. Of course I just saved the gate guardian lol. But it was when I actually started going to card shops and playing against other people
The most nostalgic card for me is stardust dragon. I remember waking up early on Saturday mornings to watch the 5Ds anime. It’s my favorite yugioh anime!
Most nostalgic card for me is my ritual black luster soldier. When my little brother and I got our first decks (I got the one with BLS, he obvi got the blue eyes) we played like in the anime and traded. Some time after that I tried to trade for his Blue Eyes. But he didnt want to. Some days after that, being a spiteful little kid, I bent his card. When I saw how sad it had made them I bent my own card as well. I still keep my bend BLS as a grim reminder
pod if greed is most nostalgic for me due to it being my favorite card and it was always a rlly cool card to me on its design and everything such a amazing card and the very first card in the pot card line so it definitely holds a very special place in my heart
For me it's dark magician girl. I remember pulling the original one back in the day. I ran around the house screaming excitement until I inevitably crushed my toe on the coffee table.
I would have to say that blues and red eyes for me! I stopped playing/collecting after grade school and didn’t see a lot of cards printed after the OG packs.
Cyber Dragon was my first deck so it always has a special place in my heart. Such a unique and cool archetype with still one of the most useful XYZ in the whole game
It is just so dang hard to get a high grade on surface for ultimate rare cards because of how they are printed. It is a shame that the imprint on the back is counted against the grading considering it is part of the printing process.
I don’t care what anyone says, Elemental HERO Phoenix is most definitely the most nostalgic. I was so happy to see it get a 9.5 gem mint. Literally my dream rating on this card!
I’m in need of help I’ve come across my old yughio cards and I’m pretty sure I have some that are not even been protected and few of them are left in near mint I have about 250 cards I need to grade so where do you send to grade them?? Great video also 👍🏼🔥
Lightning vortex is my most nostalgic card bc I started playing yugioh at 6 and was the first card I owned since my brother gave it to me before he went overseas for 4 years FYI he was in the navy
They all look great, but my favorite has always been the Rise of Destiny ultimates as this is the set I opened the most when I first started collecting.
For me it's Mirror Force, bacuse it was the card I pulled out of my first MRD boosterpack. My brother was so furious because I had been that lucky :P Funny thing is also that when I bought my fortst two packs, one from MRD and LOB I pulled a Raigeki in LOB :P My brother told me at that they were the two best trap and spell cards from the sets :P
As an Edison player, I rly cant decide of the most nostalgic one... it's so beautiful to see all these cards in their most amazing rarity... ultimate ofc!
Something I dont see anyone saying in the comments is this: Konami needs to do a better job of making sure ultimate rare cards hold a higher quality straight from the packs themselves. Why are some of these cards getting such low grades when it seems like they deserve to be higher? I understand centering, but anything else, especially when it comes to the surface of a lot of these ultimates seem to degrade easily, or are straight up not produced in a way that preserves surface quality. I understand grading is EXTREMELY picky, but some of the grades these ulties are getting literally unplayed and straight out of the pack into protective casing and sleeves and given the utmost care, are honestly not really acceptable in my eyes. It shouldn't be that hard to get 10s and 9.5s on ulties. Just my two cents. These cards are absolutely disgusting though, straight up unbelievable seeing them in these beautiful slabs.
I Really think you should send it to PSA and compare what grades they get there. They went way too hard on the Surfaces, that Veiler was 100% supose to be a 10.
Pot of greed obviously being from the first show and sets and also the armed dragon was the first dragon monsters I used in my deck from blvo we'll it was armed thunder dragon nice slabby patties bro
I swear all these grades were hit waaay harder than PSA and maybe even Beckett. Whoever graded all these doesn't understand the waxing/stamping that comes with ultimate rares, such a bummer
It’s just crazy how clean they were to get such bad grades.
Right? Makes me wonder if its the grading company. Never heard of CGC before
@@poptyahe definitely has some deal with them
@@nintendokingscan you get cards re-graded by someone else?
You can’t say how clean a card is from a video lol.

Would you open some of theses and resend them to PSA to see if the grades changes? Could be a great video
For me, there were a bunch of nostalgic cards. They are dark magician girl, blue eyes and red eye black dragon, and elemental hero neos.
most all of these are nostalgic but extra props to lightning vortex. Great video!
Dark Magician girl was my most nostalgic card here as I used to have a crush on the character as a kid (I know we all did don’t lie)
Definitely Dark Magician Girl as the most nostalgic card for me. Such a beautiful card. I could never send a card to be graded out of fear the graders might dmg my card. Nice end pulls tho
Stardust dragon was a road to memory lane. Loved using that card to counter heavy storms or dark hole effects.
I’m pretty fond of 2008 for this game, especially with the Synchro era starting, so I’m pretty nostalgic for these old Synchros like Stardust Dragon and Black Rose Dragon.

Dark Magician Girl is the most nostalgic for me. Brings me back to watching the anime and playing/collecting the cards way back in 2005.
I have to say the ultimate silent swordsmen are definitely my favorite and most nostalgic. They have always been one of my favorite set of cards!
I think it'd be illegal to not have lightning vortex as my favourite Ultra rare card in this video, mainly because as a child it was my favourite and best card that i always used to use at the school playground and destroy my friends with lmao.
Lightning Storm came out in Ignition Assault 2020, what card do you mean?
Oops, I meant lightning vortex lol, my b

How do they grade it? Are you gonna send your card to them and send again to you after grading? I'm just curious
Pot of Greed is the most nostalgic. Good old times, simpler and happier times, I miss so much the old game!
i’ve never seen The Creator and Gearfried the Swordmaster used in the anime but, it was the first ultimates i’ve ever seen in person. i get them as a gift from my cousin with his binder full of old cards.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon of course ;D
Dark Magician Gil is my nostalgia card... that card is sooo pretty as a Secret Pharaoah's Rare!
Do a Kaiba case video, I have been waiting for that for YEARS !
Pot of Greed is so nostalgic. Takes me back to the days of my friends and I playing with massive decks and as many copies of cards as we wanted.

Elemental Phoenix Enforcer has to be the most nostalgic. Loved GX
such a sick video! the nostalgia hit hardest right at the beginning, that silent swordsman lv 5 was stunning!
Cyber Dragon was my first deck so it always has a special place in my heart. Such a unique and cool archetype with still one of the most useful XYZ in the whole game
1st Ed MRD Mirror Force is more expensive though
Dark magician girl from the most nostalgic cards and you have her graded 10!!!!! Congrats man keep it up
Silent swordsman in the gba yugioh game was love

Good grading set man! Agree with some other that the ultimate silent swordsmen are definitely my favorite

That red dragon archfiend is one of my favorite 5DS cards

Scrap dragon is super nostalgic for me. It was the first synchro monster I pulled from a pack.
Pot of Greed is the most nostalgic for me, always wanted one of those but they're so expensive now
Montage Dragon what a lovely card. Nostalgic too.
100% Stardust Dragon is the most nostalgic.
Lighting vortex is one my most nostalgic cards. My brother and me would fight everytime one of us used it lol
INSANE RETURN. My most nostalgic card amoung them is DMG
Have been here since the start brother and it’s wild how your looking like Simply DAD in 2023 awesome stash! But even awesome er graded cards!
That Stardust Dragon looks sick! Sad to see it didn’t get a higher grade
Awesome congrats very beautiful cards especially the Dark Magician Girl
I've always loved the Ulti Gatling. I think I used to have one back in the day!
Blackwing armor master gotta be it! Some awesome looking cards bro I feel like a couple of them could’ve been 0.5-1 higher

I remember whenever I got Pot of Greed in my hand, I used to try and do the same smile before playing it, just to annoy my friends 🤣
That black rose dragon is definitely the most nostalgic
That Stardust dragon is nostalgic for me i remember waking up early just to watch 5ds
I haven’t seen you without the hobo beard looking good
BRD is the one for me. Most beautiful card ever
Nostalgia for me has to go to either Horus The black flame dragon! coolest design imo
Why would you choose CGC over PSA?
Elemental Hero Neos NOSTALGIC!!!
I Really think you should send it to PSA and compare what grades they get there. They went way too hard on the Surfaces, that Veiler was 100% supose to be a 10.
That Mirror Force made me feel some type of way. Makes me want to buy some more mavens
DMG is my favorite, so nostalgic , to me the card is perfect and worth four ten’s ..
Fabulous return dude, The Creator ultimate rare will always be appreciated.
Pot of greed obviously being from the first show and sets and also the armed dragon was the first dragon monsters I used in my deck from blvo we'll it was armed thunder dragon nice slabby patties bro
I feel like CGC hates ulti cards based off the surface grades they gave
Love that the card # starts with MAMA for Dark magician girl
omg I have a couple of those ultimate rares. I had no idea they were worth so much! not gonna sell them but still its crazy.
What made you go CGC instead of PSA???
Really fun return. It was cool to see The Creator get a 9.5!
Stardust dragon for me is definitely super nostalgic!
aligator warrior most definitely nostalgic
gotta say ulti montage dragon hits me with nostalgia for some reason
Armed dragon ultimates will always be my favorite cards!
omg zombie master!!! I loved my zombie deck more than anything. I hope to get it back someday
