My sister had a child almost two months ago. She's still an emotional wreck as he's her first. However, I showed her this song today and, well... She was crying with the biggest smile on her face. She has no idea of this game, but she forever loves this song now. It just goes to show how talented and gifted some people are and how Toby's work has left such an impact on people's lives.

I swear to God, I tried moving on from the game. But damn, months later I was sketching and was playing some music when my phone started to play "Home." I was just frozen in surprise and I couldn't continue what I was doing, so I just sat there staring at my sketchbook, listening to the ost. And I was like.. yesterday there was a huge fire in my city, I was evucated from my home. I was afraid, afraid to lose my house that has so many of my memories in it. I listenes to this song and while I was crying inside me it made me relaxed and gave me hope that my home will be fine. today I was able to come back, and thankfully it was the same way we left it. thank you for helping me in such a critical time.

During my sisters pregnancy, I would sing this song to her tummy and now that Paisley is born we sing this to her to calm her down and it works every time. Something about Toriel's character is just so incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. It triggers feelings of love, which is amazing seeing as she is a) A Goat-like monster-type creature b) 8-Bit c) No audible voice to be heard Toby Fox is an artist and a re-kindler of a childhood flame in me.
She literally hand holds you through a puzzle, and that would be annoying, if it weren't for the sprite. A soft smile on her face as she looks back at you, holding your hand.

For that, what the actual character LOoks like, is far less important, than what the music and words convey.

Most of the moments in Undertale feel so dreamy, Undertale's been the only game that's really captured my attention in the past several months. It's just so memorable and beautiful, its set the bar for video game immersion and story-telling, all while showing graphics and audio is minuscule fraction of what it takes to immerse the player,.

It's officially become a tradition to play this song on loop as I unpack whenever I move, and to put together my bookcase first. I'm dying. I'm pretty sure I'm close to being dead. My heart can't take this, I'm still not ready to feel again and it's been like, a month now. For anyone who's on the fence about Undertale: go play it. Just go to steam or the Undertale website and just buy it. It's the best £7/$10 you'll ever spend on a video game. I cried. This is a perfect rendition of one of the most heartfelt pieces of music from one of the genuinely best games I've ever played in my entire life. I'd like to think that's saying something, seeing as I've been an avid gamer for the vast majority of my twenty years on this earth. You captured the emotion flawlessly and truly expressed how she feels about the situation. I didn't think I could cry any more at this game, but hey, you guys just made it happen. 4 years ago when I found this cover I fell more in love with this track and learned it on the piano. My mom constantly heard me play this piece and singing the lyrics. It was also the first "real" song I learned and got to perform. After many years, I some how found my way back to the song, my mother just recently passed this summer and some how this all just feels like one very big sign. Thank you so much for allowing me to still feel connected to my mother after we are worlds apart. You have made my grief just a little easier and that is all I could ask for in this situation.

This song helped save me. When you released this song I was going through a really bad depression. I was suicidal, self harmed, my mother was my abuser and I had no life outside of my own home. I was in a very dark place. This song really felt like a place for me to rest my tired head on a loving person's lap and feel some kindness. It felt like I had someone to talk to, who would listen to me about my woes and told me to live with kindness. I have. I am now out of my mother's home, with a partner that loves me and I have been self harm free for almost 4 years. Thank you for being one the reasons I am still here today. Thank you.

It reaches players of all types, and made me proud of everything I've done in the Pacifist run and how far I've come, and with deep regret for what was done in the Genocide run. The only proven I find with this is that Toriel is unwilling to forgive Asgore. Maybe it's because they lost their son and it was just a really dramatic time, but I'm hoping one day Toriel will forgive him.

She was infuriated because Asgore swore to kill every human that came down to the under world and would slay them for their souls. Thus Asgore finding the seventh soul proclaimed he would destroy all humanity on the over world. Toriel hated the idea and I guess "Divorced" with him. That's one reason Toriel didn't want you to leave the RUINS. Why did Asgore want to kill every human? Well, mainly because Asriel died from the humans.

In a way, she is programmed to protect you. Her instincts as a mother is to protect you, and to attack anything that hurts you (though that's harder in a society than in the wild), and she loves you (I hope i didn't make it worse aaaaaa)
Personally I think she's slowly losing her sanity through the years. If you betrayal kill her she dies with this mad expression on her face. It takes quite some things to snap her last string, but you can't deny that it's the last string.
Almost a year ago, this is all I knew about undertale. My brothers had played it, but I hadn’t. This made me want to. When I heard this song in toriels home, I wanted to stay forever. When she told me to go upstairs, I did, or at least tried to. My brothers told me not to (but when I replay I do). I found your cover again, and was balling my eyes out. I forgot how much this meant to me. The lyrics “had made many friends” really got me. I wish I could play this game blindly again, but I would have probably not played it for years if it wasn’t for this song. Thank you so much.

I loved him with all my heart and promised him I'd take care of him for as long as I lived. A year later, he went missing. It wasn't the first time. But then a month passed. Then a year. It's currently maybe 405 days til he went missing. One day I found this song and decided to sing it. It matched both my voice and this whole thing perfectly. I received another cat for my birthday earlier this year. Then another. And only then did I realise.. How horrible I treated my first cat. That must've been why he agreed to be taken away from us. And to this day I still wonder, If I had treated him better, would he still be here?

I really shouldnt be surprised all things considered, and now there's a lot of mirroring to be considered in where yet another goat person who met a human child in a field of flowers who fell can be spoken to at the game's end before being left behind again.
Yeah. I missed it the first time I played until I did it the second time to recollect stuff that I left behind like the key to Sans room and W.D. Gaster. I've also noticed with the statue that has rain pouring over top and has the music box playing is actually a statue of the dead Asriel. You'll be able to notice it because it plays his music box theme and it's in the shape of the goat. There's little horns at the top. As well as that's the corridor song you have to play on the piano

my daughter Jessica sent me this on Facebook as she loves this game and said this song reminds her of me. It moved me to tears. I told her I take it as a compliment that she sees similarities in my love for her and how I always will be there for her no matter what or where she is. I swear to God, I tried moving on from the game. But damn, months later I was sketching and was playing some music when my phone started to play "Home." I was just frozen in surprise and I couldn't continue what I was doing, so I just sat there staring at my sketchbook, listening to the ost. And I was like.. "Man, fuck it, let's revisit this community" It's so cool how Toby made the OST so nostalgic that everytime I hear their music I can't help but just feel a wave of happy emotions. yesterday there was a huge fire in my city, I was evucated from my home. I was afraid, afraid to lose my house that has so many of my memories in it. I listenes to this song and while I was crying inside me it made me relaxed and gave me hope that my home will be fine. today I was able to come back, and thankfully it was the same way we left it. thank you for helping me in such a critical time.

I just want to point out that this has been my favorite song since it was uploaded. During my sisters pregnancy, I would sing this song to her tummy and now that Paisley is born we sing this to her to calm her down and it works every time. She literally hand holds you through a puzzle, and that would be annoying, if it weren't for the sprite. A soft smile on her face as she looks back at you, holding your hand.

I cried. This is a perfect rendition of one of the most heartfelt pieces of music from one of the genuinely best games I've ever played in my entire life. I'd like to think that's saying something, seeing as I've been an avid gamer for the vast majority of my twenty years on this earth.
You captured the emotion flawlessly and truly expressed how she feels about the situation. I didn't think I could cry any more at this game, but hey, you guys just made it happen. I love this cover to death, if that wasn't already apparent. Please keep up the amazing work.

4 years ago when I found this cover I fell more in love with this track and learned it on the piano. My mom constantly heard me play this piece and singing the lyrics. It was also the first "real" song I learned and got to perform. After many years, I some how found my way back to the song, my mother just recently passed this summer and some how this all just feels like one very big sign. Thank you so much for allowing me to still feel connected to my mother after we are worlds apart. You have made my grief just a little easier and that is all I could ask for in this situation.

This song helped save me. When you released this song I was going through a really bad depression. I was suicidal, self harmed, my mother was my abuser and I had no life outside of my own home. I was in a very dark place. This song really felt like a place for me to rest my tired head on a loving person's lap and feel some kindness. It felt like I had someone to talk to, who would listen to me about my woes and told me to live with kindness. I have. I am now out of my mother's home, with a partner that loves me and I have been self harm free for almost 4 years. Thank you for being one the reasons I am still here today. Thank you.

It reaches players of all types, and made me proud of everything I've done in the Pacifist run and how far I've come, and with deep regret for what was done in the Genocide run. Despite everything I've watched and read, this is the first thing to genuinely make me feel true and deep guilt over it. Pretty sure I'm subscribed to this channel for life now.
The only proven I find with this is that Toriel is unwilling to forgive Asgore. Maybe it's because they lost their son and it was just a really dramatic time, but I'm hoping one day Toriel will forgive him.

Yeah! I hope that way as well! I realized now that, Toriel wasn't exactly mad at Asgore because they lost their son. She was infuriated because Asgore swore to kill every human that came down to the under world and would slay them for their souls. Thus Asgore finding the seventh soul proclaimed he would destroy all humanity on the over world. Toriel hated the idea and I guess "Divorced" with him. That's one reason Toriel didn't want you to leave the RUINS.
Why did Asgore want to kill every human? Well, mainly because Asriel died from the humans.

Almost a year ago, this is all I knew about undertale. My brothers had played it, but I hadn’t. This made me want to. When I heard this song in toriels home, I wanted to stay forever. When she told me to go upstairs, I did, or at least tried to. My brothers told me not to (but when I replay I do). I found your cover again, and was balling my eyes out. I forgot how much this meant to me. The lyrics “had made many friends” really got me. I wish I could play this game blindly again, but I would have probably not played it for years if it wasn’t for this song. Thank you so much.

The year was 2018.
I received a kitten for Christmas.
We spent a lot of time together.
He was my first cat.
I loved him with all my heart and promised him I'd take care of him for as long as I lived.
A year later, he went missing.
It wasn't the first time.
But then a month passed.
Then a year.
It's currently maybe 405 days til he went missing.
One day I found this song and decided to sing it.
It matched both my voice and this whole thing perfectly.
I received another cat for my birthday earlier this year.
Then another.
And only then did I realise..
How horrible I treated my first cat.
That must've been why he agreed to be taken away from us.
And to this day I still wonder,
If I had treated him better,
would he still be here?

i first heard the song "hopes and dreams" before i even knew what undertale was, as soon as i heard it i just sorta burst out laughing / crying the reason why i was laughing was because on how stupid i was treating myself, i was crying because of its beauty this year, january 26th i learnt what undertale was and i got undertale, never been so proud of myself thank you for this beautiful cover and thank you toby fox.

Peridot Cactus now THAT one i didnt know. After going a certain ways back and seeing no sign of her i figured she just spawned out of existence until she was next needed like most rpgs do.

I really shouldnt be surprised all things considered, and now there's a lot of mirroring to be considered in where yet another goat person who met a human child in a field of flowers who fell can be spoken to at the game's end before being left behind again.
Yeah. I missed it the first time I played until I did it the second time to recollect stuff that I left behind like the key to Sans room and W.D. Gaster. I've also noticed with the statue that has rain pouring over top and has the music box playing is actually a statue of the dead Asriel. You'll be able to notice it because it plays his music box theme and it's in the shape of the goat. There's little horns at the top. As well as that's the corridor song you have to play on the piano

my daughter Jessica sent me this on Facebook as she loves this game and said this song reminds her of me. It moved me to tears. I told her I take it as a compliment that she sees similarities in my love for her and how I always will be there for her no matter what or where she is. I feel so lucky to be her mom she Loves Video games, anime and has the kindest heart & she loves hanging out with me like a Best friend would.
