They really did put Deanna through a lot of shit over the series, she seemed to be getting posessed at least once a season, and never had leave (literally the one time she was on leave Barclay shows up and needs help). Poor Deanna. The writers really enjoyed torturing the cutie.
If shes not the least fortunate main character (its maybe Picard) she definitely the the second least fortunate of them.
She acted it out glourius though, such a pretty and expressive face.
