Just finished watching Picard season 3 and this actually made me tear up watching their relationship from the beginning to now.

This video is incredible! It's Imzadi lain out like a rose...if a person knew nothing about them, they could easily assume this is a couple that got married very young and spent many loving years together. In my mind, they absolutely did during those 7 years of TNG...I just justify it as the part that wasn't videotaped, and this video does those years much justice. It proves that the love some deny existed was there all along--right in front of us. Of course, most of us figured that Insurrection took MUCH too long, and that choppy Nemesis wedding should have happened in Season 7.
BTW: I won't tell anybody that it was Thomas in the Mok'Bara clothing she made out with...only because he really LOVED her and Will's selfishness talked her out of running off with Thomas forever 😂

Well, those two...you could tell as early as Farpoint that they were totally stupid about each other (kudos to the actors for selling it), and...well, it was like "Guys, we get it. You're poly. You're just being too chicken to actually up and say you're each other's primary."

The novel _Imzadi_ was a pretty good fleshing out of some of their backstory. Roddenberry approved it, but passed before it was finished. Frakes did the audiobook version, which was also pretty well done.
They should make an AI generated movie of it,* _(for the de-aging process)_ so it's officially canonized...
*I'd much rather the original actors play these roles if possible, rather than recast younger people.
I wish I’d never learned that Troi was originally supposed to be cast with how can I say it, ‘multiple chest additions’. Thank goodness it never happened.
