  • Fast Substance Designer Tutorial and a small break from my full-process series: A fast frozen snow PBR material with ice spots made with Substance Designer. Fully procedural, easily customizable. Due to the winter outbreak in germany, I got inspired to work on some snow and ice textures, this is the first result.
    You can download this material with the .sbs and .SBSAR file for free at:

      Hi! I translated your comment with deepl, so I hope I got it right. You are welcome and I am happy that you could learn something from my videos! Really appreciate that you like it! There will be more videos in the future, but I am really busy with work at the moment, so it may take a while. But there will be new tutorials for sure!

    How does your base material have inputs? mine seems to be missing

    • @debe3D
      @debe3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Natalia, you should be able to enable the inputs by double clicking on the node and setting the channels that you need to "true" in the left menu. By default they are set to false. Let me know if it worked.

    can you tell what graph you choose?

    • @debe3D
      @debe3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thats a custom one, but pretty standard PBR: Size Mode: relative to parent, width and height is 2048px, format is relativ to parent.
      The nodes: I am using an Invert Grayscale node with Invert set to false as the last output, so I just need to connect my outputs for normal, height, and AO to only one node. Normal intensity is at 3, AO is standard, and I'm just using a histogram range at range 0.5 and position 0.5 to connect to the AO and as height output.
      But I am not using this one in every case, that depends. But for this graph, this are the settings. Hope that helps!

      @@debe3D nice, also the sbs dont work

    • @debe3D
      @debe3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sbs should be working, it's the one I made in the video. I wasn't using any custom nodes or something. Which Designer Version are you using?

    • @debe3D
      @debe3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry, you were right, the .sbs wasn't working, because there was a DeteDirectionalWarp in it which was not needed for this graph. I reuploded it, it should work now.

      @@debe3D thanks it is easier to understand how you create maps and saves alot of time, thank you

    • @debe3D
      @debe3D  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I know. Meanwhile you could try to set the video playback speed to 0.25, which should make it really easy to follow the tutorial, as I speed up the video by 400%, so 0.25 will be realtime. However, I'll upload the .sbs in a few days and let you know.
