Bulgaria 4: Houses for sale in our village (Part 1)

Just a small thing most people don't realise....the small windows in the attic space on the first house are for natural cooling in the summer. They work due to the ''chimney effect''. They are on the leeward side of the house and the warm air in the loft is sucked out due to the lower air pressure caused by the increased wind speed over the roof. They should open in the summer and closed in the winter, assuming there is still glass in them. 🙂

It's approximately 3 hours to Varna, Sofia or Bucharest :)

Are there shops in the village please?

Several- five or six food shops, a big hardware shop, household goods shop, bric a brac shop, hairdressers. Also one cafe bar, one smaller bar and a self service cafe
