Many years ago my wife and I took a sailing course in college. We failed miserably and had to be rescued every time we went out on the intracoastal waterway on Florida's east coast. After our final failure, the sailing instructor looked at us with brimming pity in her eyes and quietly whispered, "I have one word for you...motor!" and then she quickly walked away. We were happy to take her advice. Be well and be happy, Duke
I LOVE sailing yachts. I personally would rather own a sailing yacht over a motor yacht. Something about traveling on the water like how it was done for eons before us really does it for me. So much great history and heritage I feel comes with sailing. Of course having a motor or two is always nice to get out of trouble, safety, and when the wind is not in your favor.
WOW!!!!! What a fantastic sailing vessel. Very well thought out, very accessible, very people friendly. If Mishi gets her way, I would love to see the 40 meter vessel in the future.
What a beautiful vessel. It's not that surprising though, when you see the builder and listen to him speak. I think some pretty amazing things will be coming from Mishi! Thanks to you both again for an engaging, informing tour.
That is one beautiful vessel. The obvious attention paid to every inch of the build shows through quite nicely. This is what you get when someone who knows boats inside and out designs and builds a boat. I admit that I am a multi hull fan for the most part, but this monohull is amazing with plenty of space. The artwork and finishes on the interior spaces make it look more like a 5 star hotel suite than a boat. Thanks for bringing this amazing boat to us.
Wow! What a wonderful sailing vessel. I can see a lot of thought went into the design and that engine room is incredible. Thanks for a great tour of this boat.
Amazing. One of the most well-executed sailing yachts of this size I've ever seen. The design details in both form and function are beyond top-notch. The owner/designer really created something special here -- so glad they had NautiStyles onboard to share it with us!
I have a soft spot for sailing boats, I was almost the cabin boy on the California to Hawaii race back in the late 60s. But my dad had to fill in at work the starting weekend, oh well, such is life.
I love when a person takes ALL of their experiences in life and create something totally unique to them. It is what THEY WANT. Unique in the world. I have never seen a layout so open yet still protected. That is why I love diversity. Different viewpoints and perspectives creating different designs and technologies. Their comfort NOW becomes my comfort. Imagination becomes realization. We ALL want to enjoy our older years in comfort. I WILL be this guy!
That's an absolute stunner. Have to admit I'm the kind of guy that likes to run everything without a staff, but I don't doubt that will change with retirement. I'd be happy spending the rest of my days just running that ship as a charter and spreading of the love of sailing at every port visited.
WOW! An absolutely stunning boat. The attention to detail is amazing, even if he built his own boat. Port holes? Absolutely, on a motor yacht. Never on a serious blue water sailing yacht. I'm not a fan of vertical ladders into crew quarters, but it is a nice, spacious compartment. My concern would be accessibility on long voyages if the vessel is heeled over. Now I want to see a bigger Mishi 2. Thanks for getting us onboard this beautiful boat.
Forget everything you've seen before for a sailboat. This boat will surprise you, from its construction materials to its decoration, from its layout to the accessibility of every technical detail. Welcome to the magical world of Mishi. Mr. Yılmaztürk did a great job. Just like the wonderful couple who presented this video to us. Bravo...
NautiCuties! You two...today I was asking myself..."Do they ever sleep?" You two are always on the go. That inspires me to do more with my life! And I LOVED this yacht too!
This is such a beautiful yacht, just gorgeous! Regarding the ‘windows’ in the salon, I thought small cameras outside that allowed the two TVs to become virtual windows would have been the icing on the cake!
Mishi is absolutely beautiful!!! It took an effort to not post this right away, but I'm glad I waited to see the full tour. The vessel got more and more beautiful as I saw how well planned and thought out she is. Excellent tour as always. Thanks NautiStyles!
What an amazing vessel! If this boat's an expression of his love for his wife, it's clear what's most important in his life. And if he builds a 40 metre version, I'd love to see it.
What a gorgeous yacht, thanks for that tour..very different to so many modern yachts..the wooden chassis, no window on the sides..drop dead gorgeous 👊👏
The color choices, textures and layout are just fantastic! Only small change, I would use the spaces where a portholes would be for sculptured art or monitors to watch onboard systems. Rarely do I see a sailboat that I would consider over a motor yacht. Thanks for the share Victoria and Rico, professional as always.
I have to admit, i have never been a sailing boat person my whole life but after watching your videos for the past few years I am leaning towards these sails and I think if you are not able to get fuel for the motors then you better have a sail or two so you can get yourself from point A to B. An i love how the whole boat is designed, and alot of thought has been put into it. The part of not having any windows and hanging TV's up instead, an easy fix is to install cameras to the tvs that show the outside of the boat to see water and everything else that is outside where that window is facing. So if that side is facing the shore you can see it or better yet get cameras with night vision in them so you can see if anyone is trying to sneak on board in the night. I take security seriously. Love this channel and I will always love wooden boats. The only thing that would make it better is having a boat with wooden beams you can see and have tongue and groove like old barns that were built the same way the old sail boats were made thousands of years ago. I love to see an feel real wood everything.
I'm not a sail boater, so the first few times Rico said foresail I thought he was saying For Sale and I wondered why it was being sold. Very nice boat!
I was sick yesterday and kept falling asleep trying to watch this all the way through. But the boat is really done well and shows a true purpose of the usage. Everything outside is the main focus, but on the inside it's calm and tranquil. Not too busy and not too packed with tons of drawers, shelves, cabinets, couches and tables. I'm not a big fan of the crowded spaces. It seems chaotic to me.
It is always refreshing to watch my Nauti....At the time I appreciate your hard work and at the same time I become jealous...of course, that's my problem...you deserve all the accolades and found a beautiful niche...peace and headwinds forever...
So Wise , Thank You . One thing that really stands out to me , is the access to the Hydrolics , and engine room . I do hope that you can arrange a tour of his facility.
From the comments the vast majority of folks like to love this custom build sailing yacht, myself I like power but this is the type of design I would hope I would build if I was going for a world cruiser sailing boat. As always another great look into the life of folks who live the life of the sailor on the seas. God Bless Calm seas and fair winds
A magnificent sailing yacht... If I could afford it, I would put in for a sister of Mishi in a heartbeat. Alas, I cannot. But thanks guys for taking us along and allowing me to dream... I truly enjoyed it!
Victoria, I would like two. I've been watching you guys forever first I would get an 80-foot bearing under construction and then I would immediately put two of these incredible sailboats introduction for charter on the west coast between Seattle and San Diego You and Rico absolutely Rock
he has made a gorgeous yacht , I also like the no windows, I love piece and quiet so the no windows for chance of a guest leaving one open to do damage to the vessel was amazing, like was said no need for windows when you spend all day or night topside and just go down for some quiet rest
True elegance and a capable design. Your longer than normal walk through and builder chat was fascinating. Like your Bering adventure it would be very interesting to see this yacht or the next under construction.
19:19 that interior is beautiful, from the artwork the flowers the color scheme👍 as far as having televisions instead of windows he could just as easily put two cameras on either side and patch them into the television You get to see outside without windows.
Great boat and great way to show Turkish mindset, shoe box in the entrance, privacy in the the salon, and backgammon table on the front and ready to fight
Wow, I have watched a lot of your videos and have viewed many yachts. This is by far the best designed yacht. You guys really showed this yacht off so well. Love watching you guys.
This is the first time I've seen a Yacht that would work for me. I frequently find builds that have features friends and family would appreciate at sea, but the headroom and control panels speak to me. To conclude that electricity flows where it needs to go is a brave assumption based upon a history of metal when it was in the ground. Today, we have so much in orbit, I worry that collisions will block our access to the sun. The value of headroom cannot be underestimated! Global pressures that we live with today are much worse than growing up in a close community with familiar surroundings like our grandparents did and it can't be escaped without knowledge they bring with them. The efforts we’ve made to report adaptations required of us may have made matters worse (ensuring the waterproof characteristics of a hull may be been based upon the experience of living with mold).
Wow!!! I luv the diversity of your videos. There is good news and bad news...... The good news is this is a beautiful sailing vessel. The bad news is, Victoria we are gonna need you to climb to the to of the mast and change the light bulb. Woohoo. God bless.
Install cameras on the outside of the boat where the windows would have been and connect them to the TVs. Now you have the same view as a window! What a spectacular Yacht!!
Nice video of these ocean going recreational vehicles. I love the way the two of you point out features that might be missed, and also that you take the time to discuss why such features would be important to buyers. Regarding Mediterranean anchoring - the bays and coves are frequently very deep, with steep sides. If you just drop your anchor, you might just drag your anchor out to sea and then have it free hanging just straight down into free water. If you look at 0:51, you can see how quickly you can go from shore to "too deep to anchor". Sorry to find amusement in your futility, but never heard a story like that, honestly it's funny!!😅

That's hilarious 😀
