I build boats for a living 25 plus years so far. We build from 40 foot to 65 foot. I couldn't imagine building and the amount of time it takes to build one of these yachts. ❤
Do I take issue with the division of wealth this world has always relied upon...sure do... Do I take issue with the fact that there are people who can afford to have one of these yachts as their personal water craft....sure don't. I will always be an advocate for those that can allow artisans to create their wonders.....we as humans need this.

I'm inclined to think that a large portion of the yacht is built elsewhere by various subcontractors. As far as I know, no shipbuilder makes their own engines.
If I had one of these boats I'd have one section made in a big banquet room and one thing I'd do is invite a big name band to to come aboard and party and play for good friends and family.
Just before that thing went into dry dock, it looked like a horny Mad Max fantasy. Then it became a shiny toy of a tycoon with the appetite of the Very Hungry Cat. The world is going to end in a thousand ways, and this is one of them.

The engines shown are MTU"s built in Friedrichshafen Germany, not at another Heesen facility. Just a clarification
