Vincie Gacad I think just Swoosh Funday would be good. It wouldn’t make sense to outsiders but that’s the point.
That display case does look nice! A fish tank would be a cheaper alternative, if you add a dash of DIY spirit to it. Nice video as always Robo!
Yes, I like fwooshy sabbath a lot . Its weird but I'll watch you put a glass case together (incorrectly sometimes) and it's still entertaining, fun and chill 👍

I had to dust proof my detolfs myself. They are not dust proof. Any day is a good day for Fwoosh reviews.
YES PLEASE do more videos like this as its a lazy laid back Sunday taking it easy napping here and there. I like videos like this so YES do more. I like stuff like this cause Sundays you just are not really supposed to do much. So yes i like this idea of videos.

Yeah, but it's so prohibitively expensive and awkward to get figures in the UK in the first place, so it works out!
I used 2 eight ft by four ft glass fronted cabinets with glass shelves with 2 four ft wide by three ft deep cabinet fixing the 2 together across the top and bottom .Then I got a fish tank that fits snugly in the middle and put that on runners so it slides out for access to it. Then I put LED strip lights top and bottom of each shelf. I put strengtheners across the backs and fixed them to the wall.
I collect DST Gallery, Premier and other 1/8 and 1/6 scale statues. The rest I have in ikea glass cabinets.
If you go on sites like Gumtree and Splock or maybe look around charity shops you can (with a bit of luck) find what works for you and it can look pretty cool, museum even 😂 !!

I like this format and you're completely right about the value the case provides. It's easy to say "oh that's expensive for something that isn't fun" but some collections are expensive. It should be displayed in an equally impressive case. And P. S. Detolfs don't stop dust build up, they just slow it down a little.
Mine just came today!! Exact same as this one in the video, Elite-04 Display Case. Its really really nice!!! I already love it. I know it is easy to assemble, but I wanted to say thank you for making this video, gave me a good idea on exactly what to do. Thank You :) :)

Looks great! Although' it's pretty pricey IMO. In my country, you can get a glass display cabinet with LED strips installed for below USD160. And its the size of 2 detolfs side by side. Made out of real glass and not plexi.
Kurt Ochoa Amen brother, this is a straight up rip off. I can get a DETOLF three times the size of this for $59.
I think displaying collections is an overlooked aspect of the collecting community. If you’ve got a big collection I think taking some money to invest in the presentation is huge! What’s the use in having $100+ figures if they can’t shine? Even with my modest collection I get a little bit of anxiety knowing they aren’t all being displayed properly or that I don’t have the means to display them all properly... anyways maybe that’s just my obsessive compulsive showing lol. Thanks for the review Robo! I’d love to see your collection in a couple years when you’ve got them all setup just how you like.
Yes indeed. I've invested a few dozen hours with mounting wall shelves. I have 44ft of that, three 6ft bookcases, six tables, two media shelves, a 3ft bookcase, desk shelving, and a few pedestals.
I do like having my figures out in the open. Makes them more tangible (and less obscured). Plus, the whole having to turn on separate lights to see them thing. A good air filter definitely helps.
But, I do see the appeal with the detolfs and such..so, so nice.
They do make anything look like it's in a museum. There's pros and cons with both. Maybe if I knew about detolfs then, I wouldn't have put 64 dime sized holes in my walls.

I repose my figures too often to put them behind glass, but I think the only cloth goods stuff I have right now is from the. LJN AD&D line.

@@Monalisa1437 the LJN toys Advanced Dungeons & Dragons toyline. from the 1980's. 3 3/4" Advanced Dungeons & Dragons action figures. Several of the characters had soft goods robes and capes.

I think I'm in! Most of my figures are still in the boxes because I don't want dust on them and I don't have the space for a curio cabinet. $150 is a bargain to keep my "adult collectables" safe.

For me it's not worth it, but that's just because none of my figures are terribly expensive or have a lot of cloth goods (I have the black series Tusken Raider and that's it for cloth goods)

Case is pretty sick. Cheaper alternative is an Ikea detolf $65 with led lights $25
Oh, definitely, but like I said, I don't have room for a full blown detolf, these are way more mobile and manageable.
I live with 12 dogs, all my fancy figures/statues are in there boxes put up. :/

This works really well if you don’t have the room for detolfs, but if you do the price of this thing isn’t worth it at all.

It's not completely sealed but it does pretty good job of staying closed.

Gonna leave this copy/paste here for you from someone who works with plexi and other acrylics. I don't work for a company that manufactures or sells plexi cleaners so I don't vouch for any brand.
"To get the maximum life out of your plexiglass, never, ever use cleaning solution that contains ammonia to clean your plastic. Cleaners such as Windex or 409 will do more harm than good. Use only products specifically recommended for cleaning acrylic such as Novus #1 or Brillianize, and a soft cloth."

Those look amazing but they are to expensive, you can buy the materials and built them yourself or for 200USd more you can buy a full glass cabinet 2m long, 1.50m high and 0.5m deep. Thanks for the tip though Robo.

The Fwoosh stackable, like 5 stacked high? I will switch over to these from detolfs for my Mezco one12 figs. Would be nice if they had a bundle pack. A “Detolf replacer” pack.
DETOLFs are overrated. Required significant customisation to dust-proof the bloody things and are a waste of space given the four boxy shelves they come with. Just replaced them with wooden framed mirror-backed Argos glass cabinets and it's the best thing I ever did. However, considering installing some LED strips at the base of the cabinet after seeing this! The light from above isn't quite filtering down through 4-5 shelves of figures...

I bought a display case from their website and I’ve been trying to contact them but the number on their website belongs to a lady who is not with the company. She said it was a “wrong number”.
