It was a lot of fun to put together and work with Steve Ellis. There was a lot of ground to cover when we started the mini-series… but I think ultimately it was fairly successful
I'm all for that for sure. My personal suggestions would be Ultimate X-Men #1, Ultimate Fantastic 4 #1, and either Ultimate Iron Man #1 or Ultimate Avengers #1. And yes I mean Avengers and not Ultimates.

Them and Scott Lang fans, the final issue of Future Foundation was one of Scott Lang’s finest hours, and his most hard fought victory.
The highlight of this vid is Ethan being entirely befuddled and turned around by the Darkstar and the Winter Guard book, not knowing if any of these are "real characters" and prefacing the entire thing with "I have read worse".

I always thought that if the GLA made it past 7 issues, they would have revealed that Good Boy and her family were one of many rejects from Mount Wondagore that The High Evolutionary exiled or tried to kill because they didn’t look like real animals. These exiles would have too many tails, fur coats that were too colorful, and some would talk like the furry “OwO” meme. Zac was clearly implying that furries and fursona’s were a pre-existing thing before humans imitated them at furcons, it’s a shame the book didn’t last long enough to delve into Good Boy’s mysterious past.
Here's some ideas for GBU - Cameos of the Endless , One shot team up books - Brave & the Bold, Marvel Team Up , Tiffany's favorites Mojo, Red Ghost,& G'nort , Marvel books with characters they don't own anymore- Rom , G.I. Joe, Godzilla, Swamp Thing cameos, Pulp heroes in comics- The Shadow, The Phantom, Tarzan
Great Lakes Avengers' cover was clickbait for me. I bought the comic as part of a three pack at Wal-mart (I believe for 5 dollars) and literally only bought it because I saw Squirrel Girl, and didn't realize it was a Squirrel Girl cardboard cut out.
Here's an idea for a theme: fractured mind protagonists. Sentry's origin, Moon Knight by Lemire, Legion, Typhoid Mary, ... idk I just think about Lemire's Moon Knight a lot.
It would be nice if you guys did another on the DC obscure teams: Agents of LAW , THUNDER Agents (briefly owned by DC), and the Terrifics. Or the Super Squad!

Great Episode. And I read GLA awhile ago, and it left me HEATED. Not only is it pretty crap for a joke book, but also there are MULTIPLE times where they pretend there's no where else in the Midwest bigger or that might appreciate/need some heroes other than Milwaukee. Needless to say as a Chicagoan, I reject that reality.
I vaguely remember Franklin Richards from this time (though he'd be a kid real soon again) and huntara though I never saw an issue of fantastic force before it was cancelled. Loved the GLA though

For new GBU ideas, don't hesitate to revisit past themes with different books. I don't think that would push any of us away. Pardon me if these have already been done but a few "ideas". Super dicks: Heroes who hurt their team or themselves because of ego or something. (Thinking of Guy Gardner kinda characters) DC in Marvel and/or Marvel in DC: Heroes or concepts that are clearly ripped off from one company to another. 3 different books featuring 3 different aspects perhaps. One episode could be dedicated to Marvel ripping off DC and then do another of DC ripping off Marvel Creators through the ages: Pick a writer, artist, colourist and look at 3 stages of their work. Early, mid and later/current. The books may be from different publishers and is the kind of theme that can be reused over and over with different talents. Bad day Breakdowns: Issues were characters go off the rails and don't act as they normally would. Everyone has a bad day and these issues focus on different cases when our favourite heroes couldn't keep it back anymore. Who wrote this?: Issues where the characters are just not written at all like they normally would be. I would exclude elseworld stories as that seems too easy of a target. Did Superman curse in front of a group of nuns? Did Wolverine politely ask for directions? Probably nothing here for you but hopefully something may catch your imagination.
