Thank you for sharing such an important topic. How to disagree politely is a skill even long-time English speakers like me lack. Non-native speakers would either not want to offend others or use the wrong expressions to disagree. All the phrases you share are so practical. Thank you so much.

To disagree is more common than not to agree, and most people will say they disagree. I don't agree with Ian on his point, but I do like him.

I truly appreciate this lesson-it was mind-blowing. This lesson is one to keep handy, as it beautifully teaches us how to avoid hurting other people's feelings and encourages us to communicate our thoughts and opinions clearly, without being rude, while keeping American culture in mind. Even when we strongly disagree with someone's point of view, it shows us how to give the other person dignity, make them feel heard, and, most importantly, leave the door open for future conversations, preserving the relationship. It underscores excellent communication skills. This is hands down an outstanding lesson,🙌 and as always, @AnneMarie, you are an exceptional teacher.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you so much for your time and for the strategies and abundance of great phrases 🤗
I used this phrase with my children: "Thank you for sharing your thoughts; let's look at this from a different angle, and then we can decide what to do."

I find sentence : that’s an intetesting idea. I’d like to share a different perspective 👌-is very practical. Thank you for this tool of Assertiveness. One of the methods may be the gray stone principle. Be conservative in a relationship - for your own protection against someone who puts pressure on you.
