one of xbox's biggest flops was letting go of Avatars. They hyped the new ones up and just dropped them as fast as they released them. That and the new ones are weird.
I once got a limited profile pic of the Legendary logo during Halo 3. A few years ago I assumed it was saved to my account, but I found out otherwise 😢
Bro when i saw that there was more halo fandom items i wished we had these now rather than the in game character i always had the mk 5 helmet on me when it was the fun years
I miss these days, this is another thing why I liked the Xbox 360, the avatar system was in my opinion a way cooler version than Nintendo's Mii system. It's such a shame that they didn't add something like this onto the Xbox one (2013) without making too much changes to what already worked and what made it cool. I guess society as a whole anymore just takes things way too seriously.

With less options (we weren't overwhelmed) and clever programming, gaming was sincerely at its peak during the 360/PS3/Wii era and ofc before that was great as well. All started going downhill with the Xbox One/PS4 generation.
PC gaming pretty much killed it, along with PS4 and Xbox one, and now the current gen ain't even worth buying no good games, not even a graphical improvement, now everything is either a battle royale, a multiplayer hot mess, stupid crossover events, and forced microtransactions that aren't even that micro, it's full priced bs, still some things that are good in this gen, but you're right that was gaming at it's best, gears of war, the og last of us, halo, rdr, GTA IV, Minecraft
@@dynomyte9357 Somewhere in the mid-2010s they just started slapping TAA to every game along with micro transactions and loot boxes. I still won't forget the day when I opened BO3 and saw someone do a cringe ass emote at the end. Plus super bright unrealistic lighting with added saturation to make peoples eyes more addicted to what they see, convoluted menus with ads promoting the next game, online only, etc. Definitely still good games coming out, but those major IP's all mostly fell a long time ago in terms of personality.
I regret not purchasing Minecraft on the store even tho I have the disk for it, too bad 😭 hope eventually someone will find a way around the store closure lol
Had the armor but it's on my older account from old email the password j lost.. got the helmet and monitor at least. The odst armor and helmet. The reach helmets. Just pretty much all the rewards with this account.
I had the Falcoln because I had/still have the Legendary Edition. There was also a Halo: Reach controller that came with a code for a Banshee prop, it worked pretty much the same way as the Falcon one (your Avatar using the Halo: Reach controller to control the Falcon) except it was a Banshee, instead. The best times tbh..... Sad how gaming will never be THIS good ever again, this was when gaming was at its best and greatest, when it was about having fun and nothing else.
That music alone is enough to remind of good times and amazing moments. Getting avatar awards was pretty legit back then :)

You're missing the LE Falcon prop from Halo: Reach.
