I grew up with the original version of the 360 edition that came on the disc, as I never figured out how to connect a 360 to the internet since I was a small goblin kid at the time lmao, so many precious memories. I still haven't gotten used to the crafting and inventory UI that's used now-and-days.
I didnt even realize this video was 45 minutes long until it was over. The amount of nostalgia, and the way this video was paced made me not even notice how long i was spending just sitting down. I would love to see you do this again, just improving the world and finally getting the 33h achievement, maybe you would finally finish the house :)
The 4 things i miss in the old versions is 1. The crafting UI (i remember my brother and sister used manual crafting and i thought they were dumb for that) 2.Tutorial worlds, especially the one with stampy's house on it 3. The simplicity of the game 4. The music was just better

The old 360 edition having all the flowers, drowned, stripped logs and mansions feels so strange because I played regulary a while before the aquatic update. :D The last three times I pulled out old worlds on the console it also sometimes lagged quite a bit when loading chunks. PS: Your video is also missing the "Old TV" aesthetic ;D
One thing I really miss was the mini games tab with battle,spleef,elytra flying. The player cap made it so the game wasn't overcrowded, the game customization for host gave us the choice on how the game would play out, all the free maps where enjoyed by most of the playerbase and always had a vote , the hub containing easter eggs, finding ways to escape the hub, and when you won you spawned in the elytra room while everyone else spawned below. All they needed to do was not make it P2P, implemented a anti-cheat or the choice to record matches with a option to send the clip for review.
The updates went on long enough for it to have Drowned? Man, I mean, I've taken ages to not see the 360 as basically current gen and modern, but the thing came out in 2005! There are two console generations after it now. That is pretty crazy. I mean, when I started this channel in 2012, that would've been like playing on a console released in 1994. Technically, the PS1 wasn't even quite out then. Odds are we'd be talking about a SNES, but let's say it's a PS1. It's like playing a PS1 game that came out/had a revision in 2007!

The Xbox 360 wither is no joke. When I was a kid, me and my friends summoned it and it got out of control terrorizing our base and rest of the world and we couldn’t kill it so we just gave up and made a new world.
if that modding also freed the xbox from its biggest limitation, which is having to pay for xbox live gold to play online with others, something which you don't have to do on every single other old gen legacy version of minecraft, then it surely would make the 360 the goatest version of them all, with the 360 being cheaper than a ps3 and being able to play TU2 online, that would be a dream come true.
So many memories with my old friends on this game. Honestly the best memories I have from my school days were gaming with my friends every single night. Miss those guys

This video was a nostalgia trip took me back to 2012 when i was in elementary school playing with my friends are some of the best memories I've ever had this version of Minecraft will forever be lost sadly and now the game doesn't play anything like this it was a simpler time but so much better.

I would play that thing till the end of the day, My friends would get on and we would have a blast. I really do miss it and wish I could go back and play with my old friends. I still remember the versus servers being open and being able to play with anyone. I didn't play the xbox one version until 2020 lol. 6 years of fun.

This version is genuinely so clear of bedrock edition just for the functionality alone, bedrock is a buggy mess that isn’t even optimised for the newer consoles 360 edition runned smoother than I remembered
I remember playing Minecraft on the 360 with no updates for it at all, I've lived my entire life not playing games online or in the very rare chance, actually having internet at a friend's house to update my games. I'm happy I have a switch now, portable, can connect to the internet wherever it is, got some good games on it. Minecraft has changed since the first time I played it on 360
probably would've been better if this was done with TU1 - TU8 rather than the latest update. The older updates are more representative of 360 minecraft and probably run better while this is just a laggier version of 1.13 Bedrock.

Xbox 360 minecraft is OG I loved playing the multiplayer it let you play I would leave my Xbox on for such a long time just to play multiplayer Xbox 360 with people I think multiplayer was the best way to play Xbox 360 minecraft
I remember my old 360 world, it had absolutely no villages and the stronghold was broken because it only spawned a hallway, there was no end portal so I couldn't finish the game until I ported the world to Xbox One edition 😂
That version you were playing on was beta 1.8, the reason I know is because, in beta 1.8 strongholds had a bug were they only generated the hallway and villagers were not added yet
This really brings back memories, I got a 360before the acacia and darkwood was added so there werent horses or any of that. I still have one of my worlds from back then. I can't get on it cuz my hdmi on my xbox doesn't work, but I'm going to fix it myself soon. This video is very nostalgic to watch and I like that you aren't like loud talking like a lot of people. i was a pc player first so i always used manual crafting, even the crafting manual in modern pc minecraft annoys me

True, the 1.18 world generation sucks, the terrain is very mountainy and the caves are big, endless and bare bones

Bedrock is honestly more polished than Java to me, but console is perfect
the hotbar swap feature with armor has been avalible on console and most bedrock versions for years
It wasn’t added in Java until the 1.20 update tho
