This is the exact flower I’ve been searching for the past 24 hours thank you!!! Trying to make a blanket with loads of flowers on it and couldn’t understand the terminology on text but this video helped me !
Great tutorial. I’ve only been crocheting for 3 weeks and found this very easy to follow. I did change the single crochet between petals into a slip stitch to make the petals more defined. Thanks for the video!
I've been crocheting for many years and have several finished projects. This is the first time I've realized thay you should close the first loop you make on a chain and that it doesn't count as a stitch... Thank you, I obviously got more out of this tutorial than a lovely flower applique!
Oh my goodness!!! I finally did it!! I had to restart 5 times but I made a crochet flower 🌸 you just taught the unteachable. Ok, it was no where nearly as neat and even as yours and I’ll have to watch it again to make another but I did it 🎉
I sort of gave up on crocheting a few months ago. Today I decided I should try to crochet a flower from this tutorial. Thank you! I barely remembered anything, but I learned it fast from your video. Now I have a flower 🌺
Thanks to you I made my very first flower and I love it! I looked up how to change yarn colors so I could make the middle yellow and I love how it turned out. This video makes it very easy to follow along. Now I make my life a little easier by doing the magic circle and doing 12 single crochets into the ring instead of starting the way the video does, but either way works and I love it
Thank you for this, it was easy to follow and I liked that it was done in double crochets rather than trebles, so many other videos were doing it that way but I was preferring to find a double crochet version to match the double crochet stitches in a bag that I made and wanted a simple flower for an applique that I wanted to put on afterwards. Thanks :)
Wow that's so good teaching thank you so much for taking the time to teach us im so glad i found you thank you so much ❤️ Happy new year 2024 to you and your family
This is a little too slow but I give it that since it does say for beginners. I might be more anxious for speed because it’s been years. But I recall a time where I really needed a breakdown I didn’t get. So good job 👍🏽
Great tutorial!! Super easy to follow. I'm an advanced beginner (still quite new to crochet) and I was wondering if there was a way I could make this into much bigger version? About three times the size :)
This is so pretty. I've just started crochet and this flower looks so simple and cute. My next project was going to be a headband with flowers sewn on, and I think this will be perfect. Thanks for sharing!
I believe that once you finish the center and slip stitch it, you can switch colors. After you slip stitch, you will have one loop on your hook. Cut your yellow yarn off (leave long enough length for a tail, you can also knot the yarn or slip stitch to secure your last stitch if you need to). You can then pull your hook out of the yellow loop. Just as you would when you're starting a project, you can make a slip knot with your new color of yarn and put it on your hook. You can then put your hook back in the yellow loop and start on the petals with a new color. I'm not exactly sure if this will work (as I'm sorta new to crocheting and I haven't gotten comfortable with changing colors) but this is how I've seen it done.
thank you so much for the video, making a custion cover and already made 40, need 120 to cover the coution cover, but I don't know which way is best to fasten them to the cover, sew or hot glue
yayy this is super duper simple and easy for beginners!! I do have one problem thought which I think you can fix! The circle in the middle of my flower is really big. Is there a way i can fix that or is it just supposed to be like that? also, how can I make a bigger flower? tysm for this tutorial!! it helped a bunch
You can usually cinch the circle closer together if you weave in your tail end while crocheting the single crochets, and then pull on the remainder of the tail end to pull it closer together :)
@@kaydavis2310 yep! Click the settings sign on the bottom right of the video. then click playback speed. Everything above 'Normal' will make the video slower!! I hope this helped :))
You are a good teacher! You go slow enough for us to see what you are doing! There is no confusion! Thank you!
Seriously! Amazing tutorial

I've never heard of your way of ending your pattern by splitting it and tying it!!!! I love this flower and the way to end it!!!! Great job 👏
I learned to crochet maybe like 2 months ago, and even for a begginer myself, I found this easy and fun to follow!
Perfect Thank you soooooo much! Simple As it could be🧶💙
Took a few times, no fault of your instructions! Thank you so much!

Thank you for showing it so slowly and explaining step by step.
Your way of holding the yarn helped me witht tension problems as a very new crafter.
Ok so aparently I’m not very good at listening to instructions 😂 mine has 4 petals with a mutated growth
Lol 😂
I only got 5 petals and it’s not flat

The best tutorial i've ever watched. SUBSCRIBED!
Great tutorial!! Super easy to follow. I'm an advanced beginner (still quite new to crochet) and I was wondering if there was a way I could make this into much bigger version? About three times the size :)
In this pattern you can only use a bigger yarn . And you will get a bigger result .
For much bigger flower that would be sober pattern :)
thank you! :) @@CrochetLyn

I love!!I made!!
How can I do 2 colors? I LOVE puffiness of this flower but want yellow center. Do I jst connect the color of the petals to my yellow?

At last a flower I can crochet thanks for video instructions
That was amazing, thank you!
It took me 2x to get this, she made it so easy. I attached it to a hat I made. Thanks
I don’t get it. We have 12 sc to start, each pedal need 3 sc, so we can only make 4 pedals, how you did five
Wow this really is easy it helped me for home ecology 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Nice and easy very good teaching thanks u
thank you so much for the video, making a custion cover and already made 40, need 120 to cover the coution cover, but I don't know which way is best to fasten them to the cover, sew or hot glue
you can use a tapestry needle to weave them onto the cover with yarn. i crocheted a beanie and stuck one flower on it by this method
How do you make a large crocheted flower for beginners
What if I want to make a bigger one that I can use as a coaster
In this pattern you can make more flower like this and sew them together .
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you🙌🏽
Thank you for the vedio sweetheart ❤
Nice and easy to follow....thank u
So simple and cute!
How to make it bigger? For like a headband?
That will be another pattern and another tutorial:)

Thank u so much verry good teaching
What kind of yarn is this
Hello! I'm not sure about the yarn she used but most of the people who do crochet prefer acrylic yarns :))
Really appreciate you dear ❤️❤️❤️
I just keep replaying this starter. I have No idea! What you are doing to make that knot. Is it the same old knot i use for everything else,
Yes
More videos crocheting a single flower
thank you
Girl your going way to fast🥸
five petals? i see six in yours?
Spr👌👌
Great video! I haven't done a tutorial on how to crochet a flower yet 🥰
You can always start anytime. 😉
Perfect tutorial! Thank you! 👍
I got it.
Thank you.
I've never known a 'beginner' tutorial done so fast. I am an absolute beginner and can't follow due to how fast you run through each steps.
you can always pause the video to catch up or slow down the video. Or, you can always do both! :)
@@annalise8655 I would love to slow it down. Do you know how to do that at all? ..... no good with gadgets either. I'm on a roll 😁😂

it is very hard 😢😢😢😢😢
You explain it so well yet I still mess it up somehow 😭
You can do it :)
I started crying 1 seconds in to it because I don't know how to make a not
🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
When you can’t even do the initial knot :’(
For the initial circle mine is a ring and not a circle. Anyone else having same problem?
Hi! I think for the initial knot, it’s just a slip not.
Mine always seems backwards, is that what you meant?
