    Thanks to you I made my very first flower and I love it! I looked up how to change yarn colors so I could make the middle yellow and I love how it turned out. This video makes it very easy to follow along. Now I make my life a little easier by doing the magic circle and doing 12 single crochets into the ring instead of starting the way the video does, but either way works and I love it

    How can I do 2 colors? I LOVE puffiness of this flower but want yellow center. Do I jst connect the color of the petals to my yellow?

    • @bubbabear7340
      @bubbabear7340 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I believe that once you finish the center and slip stitch it, you can switch colors. After you slip stitch, you will have one loop on your hook. Cut your yellow yarn off (leave long enough length for a tail, you can also knot the yarn or slip stitch to secure your last stitch if you need to). You can then pull your hook out of the yellow loop. Just as you would when you're starting a project, you can make a slip knot with your new color of yarn and put it on your hook. You can then put your hook back in the yellow loop and start on the petals with a new color.
      I'm not exactly sure if this will work (as I'm sorta new to crocheting and I haven't gotten comfortable with changing colors) but this is how I've seen it done.

  • @annalise8655

    yayy this is super duper simple and easy for beginners!! I do have one problem thought which I think you can fix! The circle in the middle of my flower is really big. Is there a way i can fix that or is it just supposed to be like that? also, how can I make a bigger flower? tysm for this tutorial!! it helped a bunch

    • @emiliechartrand9259
      @emiliechartrand9259 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can usually cinch the circle closer together if you weave in your tail end while crocheting the single crochets, and then pull on the remainder of the tail end to pull it closer together :)
