Come and visit one of us in the northern part of the USA, or Canada in the winter. Then you would know how lovely flannel, or even better, fleece sheets feel. Especially here in Canada, in -28○C , in a drafty old farm house. My pyjamas are also polar fleece, and I wear thick socks to bed. Lol.

I've been wanting to make that Paddington Top since it appeared on my Instagram feed, though the weather wasn't right. I'm thinking there will be a whole lot of Paddingtons this spring! I found I'd messed up with one of the tops so have had to use more of the 'leftover' fabric so will have to hold on for a different project I think. Paddington weather coming soon .... hopefully 😂

It’s set to be a classic I think. Yep I do feel I got the easier part of the deal by starting off, I purposely cut some patterns out when I came to edit because I didn’t want to make it harder as the month goes on 😁❤️❤️
Thanks for three great ideas for free patterns. I am definitely getting the Paddington top and know exactly the fabric and buttons to use. The fabric you have for the sundress is beautiful and with your colouring will be stunning. I think it would be so pretty with a tiny embroidered detail around the neckline. I am glad the challenge was opened to other garments. While I love dresses I rarely wear them. I'm looking into free jacket/coat patterns. Your idea to combine fabrics is interesting and has me thinking and planning. Another thumbs up!
@@AlexJudgeSews One of my daughters has done a "painting" of my dad as a little boy with embroidery thread. Now her knew art thing to do is to transfer and old black and white photo to fabric and accent it with different coloured embroidery stitches. She taught herself how to do it.

Ooh love that skirt. I found a similar free one on Mood last year but think I might need “anti lump” shapewear underneath which put me off a bit. Lots of ideas there Alex. This challenge is so much fun
Thank you Alex, so infomative and stylish as ever! Been and grabbed the bias skirt as I have some satin in my stash that I need to do something with and snapped up a shirred dress for the summer too! Love the backless Val dress too....so many choices and you are the first video i have watched!!! March looks like being a busy sewfrugal22 month, but with only using free patterns and diving into my huge fabric stash, my bank balance will surely love me for it!!

I like the idea of this and I enjoyed watching it last year however I don't understand how a pattern is considered free when it costs so much to get it printed. I understand in the UK that you can't get patterns as cheap as we can get the big four on sale here in the states. However I cannot get a "free pattern printed for anywhere close to 99 cents or a dollar. My printer does not work at this point so I would have to send it to some copy place and I've heard many bad things about some and others are quite expensive. At any rate I just love all of you I just think the things you're doing are terrific I think this is a great idea I will absolutely watch it but taking part I'm just afraid I won't be able to.
Aah yes, I’d forgotten that 🤦🏼♀️. I’ve always been fortunate in that my Husband needs printer ink for work 😉. Do libraries still do inexpensive A4 printing?

I know if you click the blue link in the video description it’ll take you to all the videos (including the ones from last year), you can also type the hashtag into TH-cam search but as far as I know you’d have to do it every time you want to see what’s been uploaded unless there is a way to follow it but I can’t find anything on google about how to do that

Hi Alex can you provide a list of presenters each day that we can access? I have seen it flash up on the videos but not one I can peruse. I don't subscribe to all presenters so I might miss out on some. Have looked at several of blogger channels but not able to find written list nor reference as to who to look out for the next day. Excuse if I am missing the obvious as I am not that IT savvy, thanks.
