I'm 75 and still love my tattoo. Good for You! My iron and a small light are plugged into an Alexa plug. If I see the light is still on when I'm leaving my sewing room, I ask Alexa to turn them both off. Very convenient.
That is awesome! I say if it's good enough for Dame Judy it's good enough for me. An alexa plug was my original idea, I thought we had a spare then Dave pointed out we had some of these remote ones. I love my Alexa - did you know you can change her to a male voice? or get her/him to whisper? I don't know why, but the whispering makes me laugh every time 😄❤
Thanks Lesley, the problem is that sewalongs take ages to make. I take my hat off to those who do them, but my problem is that I just want to get on with the sewing and not the recording 😄. I"m not saying never, but it's not something I'm planning for now. 😘❤
Lovely tops - love the 70’s fabric. The cardigan is lovely too, looks cosy, but like you, I’d need to have it longer. I’ve not seen the remote control plugs before but we do use Alexa to switch lights on and off 💡Great offer on the magazine subscription, I missed that one. Thanks for sharing😻
Thanks, I was originally planning to use an Alexa plug but when I asked if we had a spare my Husband offered this. Have you tried Alexa in Whisper mode? It makes me laugh for no apparent reason 😁
I think both tops are sweet! If the gapping bothers you…have you considered opening the side seams at the bottom? That’s what I’d do. Thanks for the remote idea!
Wondering if you could unpick the side seams and add a slit to give a bit more room at the hips? Either way all of the garments you make look fantastic!
Agree about Vali instructions and great idea about ditching the facing pieces on the bodice and creating a lining. I’ve made two dresses and ended up removing that silly back neck facing.
Hi Alex, I’m pretty sure that the reason your fibre mood blouse doesn’t fit at the hip is because you lengthened it. It may well have fit beautifully at the high hip, I think. Love your videos! And yes please to why you aren’t keeping up the fm subscription. Cheers, Karen
Hi Alex, I've been watching your channel for a least a year now and have never commented (I always like! 😂). I just wanted to tell you that you inspire me every time I watch your videos. We are about the same age, the same size and it turns out we have the same kind of taste. I find myself scrambling every week to search for the patterns you've just made so that I can too! I also love your down to earth, honest, very English demeanor. (I'm English, married a Dutchman and have lived in The Netherlands for 30 odd years, just as a side note). All in all just wanted to say a big thank-you and I can't wait for next week's video! 🥳
When you stitch down the front button area on your floral top, I think it would look quite nice to stitch only as far as you like, and let the openness of the rest be a design feature. It would complement the v-neck at the top (being a v-hip)
I bought myself a cardigan that's similar to the Marlo but found it tricky to wear so gave it to one of my daughters, who loves it. I'm not sure why though, I love all the Marlo cardi's I've seen.
Yes to the fibre mood video, but I don't think I'm alone in requesting that. I have to say that I've never subscribed and have my own reasons, but I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. I'm excited for your new series. I feel like you always give very thoughtful and detailed reviews, so I know I'll enjoy watching. Your tops are all stunners. I am feeling very inspired!!
Love the colors of your shirts on you. When you sew the placket in the front, can you open up the side seams to make more room in the hips? I've had to do that and it worked well.
Yes to Fibre mood review, love your tops. 😊Great video. I need to use some different pattern companies too. But I'm on a ban, trying not to buy any more fabric or patterns and use what I have 😊
I just love both of your tops!! I am interested in you doing a video about Fiber Mood. Also, I think you’ve done a video about your method for pattern matching so perfectly on a button front shirt. Would you link to that or show us again in another video sometime? It is such a beautiful and impressive finish!
Thanks, Tammy, I haven't made a pattern matching video, but I have said I'll done one - every time I make a pattern matched shirt I feel guilt so I will get onto it soon 😄❤
Hi Alex love your videos. Have you considered putting a small wedge in the side seam of the Norma blouse like you see on some men's shirts. That way you could stitch up the front like you wanted to do and also give yourself some extra room at the bottom. Thanks
I would love to see the Edwige blouse. I have this pattern but I haven't made it yet. I know what you mean about the box of threads. I store some of mine where they are togethter on their side so that I can see the colours, I love looking at them! Thanks for doing these videos.
Love both your tops... the brown floral is very pretty... for the hip tightness what about opening the bottom side seams a couple of inches n stitch down or face the seam allowances to give a bit more room... n the 2nd blouse reminds me of a top I wore in the 70s n I loved it... I wore it out... lol... thank you for the memories n source of my new favorite top... now to find many perfect fabrics... love your videos... blessings
Thanks Alex. I would be interested in your comments on Fibre Mood patterns. I have made the Norma, Honey and Mabel and I feel that they are just not right. I can't put my finger on it. Each pattern had different sizing information for a start. I think it is the drafting which in turn is the fit. Mind you, their photography is terrific.
Hi Alex - thank you for your video. Absolutely loved the tip about using up your bobbin threads! The Love Sewing offer is great - I googled 'more mags love sewing guttermann' and the offer popped up....! I've signed up too.
Please do a video on your opinions of Fibre Mood magazine. I've been toying with the idea of subscribing for ages and have only come across positive reviews, so it would be great to get a balance of views.
I'd be interested in your fibremood review, I've also had a subscription this year and am in two minds about it. I have loved some of the patterns but have had real issues with others and with the subscription itself.
I do like your blouses. Liesl and Co have the Geneva Top which is similar to the Fibre Mood one you made. I like Liesl and Co patterns. The fit is always good.
Yes to a video on FibreMood. The sweater would actually be stunning, rather than just serviceable in a vibrant and flattering color(amber or green). And the top is beautiful on you. Love the fabric. Try putting side vents in it to give your hips the room they need. The Valley top is perfect.
I agree with you comment about the fibre mood instructions only being available online. However, when I downloaded a pattern earlier today I copied and pasted the instructions into a Word document. I had to reduce the size of the photos, but that didn’t take too long. So I’ve now got the instructions saved alongside the pdf.
I bought and made the vali dress and top last year mainly inspired by your stripe version. I also have the Norma blouse printed out and an fba added just need to toile it. I’ve just done a second toile of the wrap top by peppermint magazine and it wasn’t a huge success. Also Paddington is cut out and ready to toile. I’m a bath at night person. 👍

Would love to hear about why you won't renew fiber mood.I have been considering a subscription but I note it is only because I like a pattern now and then
Hi Alex, how about cutting the seams at the sides so it has splits on the Norma blouse. That would release the back when you sew it up. Your Vali blouse is stunning! Looking forward to the Sewing Pattern Adventures!
Hi Alex, I'm loving all your makes...the cardigan looks so snuggly, the Norma looks lovely and the Valley blouse has always been a favourite of mine on Instagram, but I've never made it.... I will now 👌💝💝💝. Looking forward to your sewing adventures 👍😁😘
Hi, yes to a video on FibreMood please, would be interested to hear your thoughts. The Palermo jacket looks fabulous but I can see what you mean when you talk about your niggles with it. I've made the Bershal Jacket from Style Arc a few times which is quite similar to the Palermo. I find it really useful and is so cuddly to wear but the front band that goes right round from one side to the other doesn't sit quite right on me as it is drafted so I either make the band half the width so it sits better or I double it or more so it is more of a shawl effect.
I have looked at that Style Arc cardigan a few times but now I need it 😂 my hair is short and my neck always freezing! Could you make it longer? Your tops all your usual immaculate sewing especially pattern matching but my favourite is Vali top 🥰
Hi Alex, thanks for your vlog. Could you not let the seams out a bit at the hips of your top that’s just a little tight. I did also mean to thank you for your tips when showing your sewing room. Using the Teflon sheet when ironing the interfacing is a terrific idea and I’ve adopted it.🦘🇦🇺
Alex - love the Vali, it's beautiful but I agree about the directions. When I got the pattern I looked at the directions & was befuddled...and I've been sewing for over 50 years. I know you don't have time for a sew along so what advice would give those of us who are attempting our first Vali? and 2nd question: what is the pattern for the blouse you're wearing? I Love it!
I wouldn't bother with facing the collar and neckline, but just cut two and line the bodice section. I've done that on subsequent versions and it works much better ❤
I noticed the pattern matching right away. That takes up so much time! I have had the same issues recently with everything I have sewn in the hip area. So… that is teaching me. I’ll grade up no matter what. Lovey pieces!!
Ooh naughty naughty! Love that Vali top the fabric is perfect for it - Pattern Fantastique have kindly offered one as a prize for the challenge! I need to remember you tips for the Norma, I've had it printed off for ages, so definitely up for your thoughts on the subscription 👍
Hi Alex Norma looks great but have to agree with you I found it was a bit neat around hem and low at front so adjusted for the next one and is fine. Maybe the lengthening created fit issues around hem... yep like to year about fibre mood subscription. Thank you.
The Vali top is gorgeous it’s now on my list of to buy patterns as I would wear this style all of the time too! I have the Norma printed out too and must remember to check the length. Yes I would like a vlog on the fibre mood subscription thank you 😊
The Style Arc snuggly looks simple but fantastic. Love the way it fits and hangs on you. I bet just top stitching the facing in place wouldn't change how it drapes and you might be happier to wear it out and about to show it off. The lower front higher back is part of the fashion statement. I have a Marci Tilton vest like that and though at first I thought it odd, I've come round to it now. Looking forward to following your journey as you explore different pattern designers. It will be nice to see things a bit out of the box. I am intrigued by Waffle Patterns Momiji jacket. I know you've made their Anzu skirt which also looks different. I am also interested in Sew Liberated's Lichen Duster and Serenity Studio's Dakota Duster. I haven't made either yet but they are on my radar along with Style Arc's Eden dress. I still haven't chosen a #Sewfrugal22 pattern but continue to watch the vlogs for inspiration. I do have the Lago tank pattern printed and some peachy jersey fabric in my stache if nothing else catches my eye. Enjoy your beautiful tops!
Thanks Nancy, I think you're right I should stop being lazy and just stitch the facing down 😂 I adored making the Anzu skirt and have my eye on lots of their outerwear, I bet the Momiji jacket will be amazing made up. Sounds like you've got a few projects lined up anyway 😀❤
Hi Alex. I enjoyed your video very much. Love the Vali top - must try that one. I wonder if the Norma came up tight at the hip because you lengthened it by several inches. I think it would still have been snug but maybe not so snug if ending at high hip? I’d love to know your thoughts on Fibre Mood. I also subscribe and have mixed views. Diana
I love your vali blouse!!!! I have the pattern and some gorgeous 70s style fabric….. why the hell haven’t I made it 😳. Next project lol. And yes please to the fibre mood vlog 👍.
Your Palermo is lovely! I have this pattern. I’m tall and long waisted so I’d need to figure out how to lengthen for sure. I’m starting a new job soon and will need sweaters for the office that runs cool. That box of threads you received free is better than a box of chocolates! 🧵🪡🍫
Alex: Nice Style Arc cardigan pattern. I’ve made a few Style Arc patterns now. I’ve liked everything I’ve made so far. Humm? I was considering purchasing a FiberMood magazine when they are available here. I might look more closely at it. I would be interested in hearing why you are not happy. I don’t like facings either! Doubling up sound much more comfortable. Facings tend to bunch up unless stitched down completely! Love the remote device! I need that😊 Cheryl
I always seem to have everything you make on my list! Had the Norma printed for ages, I was a bit hesitant as the fabric I have is patterned, but you've proven that it looks great in patterned fabric, and I think I'll need to grade out at the hips too! I love the Vali, think it's' definitely going on my list for summer
Love the Style Arc top I have only tried one Style Arc pattern when I first started sewing so it was not a success temped to try again but….. I enjoy your vlogs always something out of the ordinary more for my age group but modern and stylish.
Thanks so much Aileen, I kept looking on TH-cam for someone older but modern and couldn't find anyone at that time so thought I'd see if there were others like us out there 😂😘
I have often wondered about fibremood - for instance what do subscribers get that is better than the free patterns? Would be keen to see a video with your thoughts. Love all your makes, agree about the length of the StyleArc cardigan - the pattern picture looks longer too. I’m only 5’3” so it would probably be a good length on me and it would be a good garment for work where I wear an apron and don’t want to be taking it off if I overheat or get cold (which happens because of the aircon on the shop floor in comparison to the warmer back area) I am making a shirt! My first for many, many years. I’m doing a version of the I Am Irma dress/blouse as a wearable toile ahead of possibly making the dress. It’s like riding a bike putting on a collar and collar stand again haha.
oooh Leanne I feel you've got a shirtmaking inside you, I adore that pattern, no idea why I haven't made it - must stop myself from buying it though 😂💗
Haha a secret shirt maker! I love the techniques involved, I just feel a collared shirt is too smart for my style I think, I always feel very dressed up lol. I have been researching and also found plenty that don’t have collars so that might be a good compromise. Yes I love the Irma too, I’ve had the pattern for ages but was concerned about the massive amounts of ease (12” at the bust for my measurements!) so I have sized down and will see how it fits 😊
Hi Alex, I love your style arc cardigan and I’m tempted by the remote control plug, perfect for hard to reach sockets 😊 I would also be very interested in a review of the fibre mood subscription please.
I also find the Norma a bit short and a bit low. I wear it with a cami and higher waisted pants. Interested in hearing your feedback on their patterns. They seem to not offer as many options in one pattern, but I've picked up some on sale that I haven't sewn yet.
Yes, that's true very few options although sometimes the 'options' we're given are simple things we could do ourselves anyway - short sleeve, 3/4 etc 💗🙏
I would like to know why you didn't renew your subscription to Peppermint Magazine. When we say we get free patterns with the different sewing magazines I always think are they really free?! The way the magazines are packaged it's sometimes hard to see what the patterns are and then the patterns cover the front of the magazine and I can't see what the magazine is about. And here in Canada it's about $21 for them. Sorry just ranting a bit. For your Norma blouse could you put a wedge of fabric in the side seams to make it bigger at the hips. With the busy print of the fabric. I don't think it would be noticable. In my family my husband and 2 of our 3 kids have tatoos. The one that doesn't have tatoos has designed them for family and friends. Now I am going to check Amazon for the remote switch.
No they're not free at all the magazines are expensive so if you don't want the pattern and the magazine is just full of ads then what's the point. Some are better than others though and this deal with the threads is pretty good. ❤
Love the Vali blouse. So beautiful! I also really like the cardigan. I am about to make the Marlo which is also a bit cropped so will wait until I see how that one feels wearing about on cold days, (which is every day in Canadian winter) I too am sewing the Grasser 722. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. I used a stretch cotton velvet and so far so good.
I love that StyleArc cardigan, I think I had it a few times on my list 🤣. I have lots of Fibre Magazine and just finally made a dress 🤣, I am not sure if I want to subscribe, I buy only if there is one or two patterns I like. Love your two flowery blouses and that Gutermann set is awesome 😍😍
@@AlexJudgeSews Yes, I did! Something that I find annoying with FM actually the same as in La maison Victor magazine, they put one pattern on different sheets 🤨, I find that so annoying! Oh, and a very good see-through tracing paper was very helpful 🤣. I remember one time I used backing paper to trace a La Maison Victor pattern 🤣. I am curious to hear your opinion on the FM
Please, I would be very grateful for your opinion and review of fibremood magazine. Maybe you can make a comparison with Burda magazine? Thank you for sharing your skill and knowledge.
Vali was a great choice for that fabric looks very retro. I've had an issue with tightness around the hips when I have lenghtened a top without grading out, any chance of a bit of room in the seam allowance? Would love to hear your thoughts on fibremood.
Thank you so much, I'll be back with Fibremood soon. Only 1cm seam allowance, but I'm going to go with some earlier suggestions to open them up to a split 🙏🏻❤️
Lovely makes, love the vali top. I also stopped fiber mood subscription. Too much over sized and very dropped shoulders. Norma also too tight on hips tor me First time round
That Style Arc cardigan is so cute and looks really cozy. I'm a huge fan of tattoos - I have 11 and got my first one after my 40th birthday 😊 For the Norma blouse - after you sew up the button placket, could you add side vents at the hem? 🧵 I am absolutely in love with your Vali top! I've made the top and the dress but the fabric you chose is so fantastic!
When I first read that I read first tattoo at 11! 😂. I can see them becoming addictive, the original wasn't quite right, but now I've got one I love I'm already cooking up plans for the next one 😀. I'd love to see yours, are you on IG?

I could watch your vlogs all day, but can only one a day lol Thanks for the advice to a new sewer
Your box of thread is so pretty that it could be home décor.
😂. I forced myself to empty it out
I'm 75 and still love my tattoo. Good for You!
My iron and a small light are plugged into an Alexa plug. If I see the light is still on when I'm leaving my sewing room, I ask Alexa to turn them both off. Very convenient.

My parents use a remote like that for their Christmas tree, but I would have never thought to do it with my iron. Brilliant!
great minds!
Yes to the fibremood vid please.
Would love a sew along for the last blouse you showed us. Especially if the instructions are not great. Thanks for your vlogs. Love them
Thanks Lesley, the problem is that sewalongs take ages to make. I take my hat off to those who do them, but my problem is that I just want to get on with the sewing and not the recording 😄. I"m not saying never, but it's not something I'm planning for now. 😘❤

Thanks, I was originally planning to use an Alexa plug but when I asked if we had a spare my Husband offered this. Have you tried Alexa in Whisper mode? It makes me laugh for no apparent reason 😁
Hi Alex … you may think the grey cardigan is not exciting…. But personally I think it looks amazing on you …. I love it 💖💖
Oh thank you!
I think both tops are sweet! If the gapping bothers you…have you considered opening the side seams at the bottom? That’s what I’d do. Thanks for the remote idea!
Really interested in a video about fibre mood subscription.

Thanks Jennifer, yep I've made the change to it since so many people made that suggestion - why didn't I think of it 😄❤
Just subscribed to love sewing and managed to get the box of threads free too😄😄
hooray 👏❤

Could you partly unpick the sides so there is side suits. You could add bias binding if the seam is small. That should fixity.😁🌈💗

Beautiful pattern matching on your Norma, Alex. Perhaps you could put side slits in to give you a bit more room at the hip?

I would love to hear about Fibre mood. I have no clue about it.
I'll do one soon 😄
I would make a split in the top which is a bit tight.
Great suggestion thank you
I’m attempting that Grasser pattern in the raspberry faux angora today. I love that neckline.
Ooh I might DM you and see how you got on x
@@AlexJudgeSews do indeed and I’ll share pics. It’s lovely. Bit confusing to start with but actually relatively simple and quick to sew.
You could always unstitch the side a little and have a split side
Try putting some splits in the side. I do it all the time as I’m only 5 foot 3”
Great idea!
Why didn't I think of that? Thank you so much, I'm going to do it right now 💗❤👏
Alex I spend my life putting slits in tops I buy. I’m a short ass.. the top is a beautiful fit on you otherwise
Amazing video Alex. Thank you for your review regarding the Faux Angora.
You know how much I love it Casey ❤💗
I love ❤ tattoos. Thank you for the honest reviews on these patterns. Another great Vlog 👍
Thanks Clare, I haven't seen my mother in law yet and she'll have things to say about my tattoo 😂❤
Try wearing the sweater other way around to see whether it's abit longer(collar @bottom and hem @top)
OMG, what a great idea - I'm off to try 🙏

Hello Alex
Loved the blouses and the sweater looks cozy for what you were looking for
lovely fabrics
I have been able to get "sew" magazines from my Walmart in Canada
Its UK based but you get two patterns one new look and one simplicity pattern
It also comes with lots of free patterns that you download
I think its a good bargain
We can't get simplicity or new look
In Canada only the other big four McCall's VOGUE or Butterick
So I am loving it
Might be worth checking out they have free products for subscribers
As always loving your makes
You are spending time in the new sewing room getting things done
And enjoying yourself it shows
It's definitely my happy place to spend my time
Looking forward to seeing more
Take care
Happy sewing 👗👕👚🪡🧵
aah thanks Joanne, you can't get simplicity or new look!!! I'm shocked - you do have Blackbird fabrics though 😄
Would love to hear about why you won't renew fiber mood.I have been considering a subscription but I note it is only because I like a pattern now and then
Great, I'll do a video soon ❤
Fibre moods - please share your thoughts. I've often looked at buying but haven't, maybe because not totally inspired.
Will do, Jan
Hi Alex, how about cutting the seams at the sides so it has splits on the Norma blouse. That would release the back when you sew it up. Your Vali blouse is stunning! Looking forward to the Sewing Pattern Adventures!
thanks Rosie, for some reason 💁 I didn't think of that, but now it's been suggested I'm going to do it today! 😘
I had the same issue with the Norma blouse being too snug on the hip. Having said that, I’ve made three now after altering it. I also lengthened it.
Ooh not just me then! Luckily it's an easy fix and like you it won't put me off ❤🙏
Hi Alex, I'm loving all your makes...the cardigan looks so snuggly, the Norma looks lovely and the Valley blouse has always been a favourite of mine on Instagram, but I've never made it.... I will now 👌💝💝💝. Looking forward to your sewing adventures 👍😁😘
aah thanks Sally, you won't look back it's a really lovely pattern 💗
Hi, yes to a video on FibreMood please, would be interested to hear your thoughts. The Palermo jacket looks fabulous but I can see what you mean when you talk about your niggles with it. I've made the Bershal Jacket from Style Arc a few times which is quite similar to the Palermo. I find it really useful and is so cuddly to wear but the front band that goes right round from one side to the other doesn't sit quite right on me as it is drafted so I either make the band half the width so it sits better or I double it or more so it is more of a shawl effect.
Ahh I've had the Bershal on my list for a while too! Good to know the pitfalls, but we probably being perfectionists 😂😘
I have looked at that Style Arc cardigan a few times but now I need it 😂 my hair is short and my neck always freezing! Could you make it longer? Your tops all your usual immaculate sewing especially pattern matching but my favourite is Vali top 🥰
Thanks Alison 💗 I think it could be lengthened, to be honest I haven't looked at the pattern since I finished it 🙏
If you opened up the side seams of the Norma blouse and made 2 little slits, would that help?. Thanks for a lovely video. 😊
Great idea!
Thank you, bought the Palermo pattern because of this, I agree it looks like it would be snugglier first added length.
ooh do let me know how you get on! 😘
Thank you for sharing! Would love to hear more of your thoughts on Fibre Mood.
You got it!❤
Hi Alex, thanks for your vlog. Could you not let the seams out a bit at the hips of your top that’s just a little tight. I did also mean to thank you for your tips when showing your sewing room. Using the Teflon sheet when ironing the interfacing is a terrific idea and I’ve adopted it.🦘🇦🇺
ooh I'm so pleased! yes, I'm going to make side vents after some earlier suggestions 🙏❤
Always learning 😊😂🙏
Ooh naughty naughty! Love that Vali top the fabric is perfect for it - Pattern Fantastique have kindly offered one as a prize for the challenge!
I need to remember you tips for the Norma, I've had it printed off for ages, so definitely up for your thoughts on the subscription 👍
It took me a while to work out what I'd done that was naughty! Another great reason to enter Sew Frugal 22, it's a fab pattern 😘
Hi Alex Norma looks great but have to agree with you I found it was a bit neat around hem and low at front so adjusted for the next one and is fine. Maybe the lengthening created fit issues around hem... yep like to year about fibre mood subscription. Thank you.
Totally agree, I followed the side seams down, but clearly should have allowed more for my hips 😊
The Vali top is gorgeous it’s now on my list of to buy patterns as I would wear this style all of the time too! I have the Norma printed out too and must remember to check the length. Yes I would like a vlog on the fibre mood subscription thank you 😊
Ooh that's so kind of you, thank you. I'll do a Fibremood vid soon 💗🙏
@@AlexJudgeSews thank you ❤️
The Style Arc snuggly looks simple but fantastic.
Diana
ooh interesting your views are mixed, yes I'll do a video about Fibremood soon. 💗
Can you open the side seams and make slits then it will fit better at the hips
Yes, I really don't know why I didn't think of it 😂❤
Could you open up a split in the side seams when you sew up the button band so the openings are at the side where you wouldn’t notice it?
Yes Andrea! someone suggested that below and I really don't know why I didn't occur to me!! ❤
I love your vali blouse!!!! I have the pattern and some gorgeous 70s style fabric….. why the hell haven’t I made it 😳. Next project lol. And yes please to the fibre mood vlog 👍.
yes, why? 😂. You won't regret it, well you might while fighting with gathering, but after that it's a fab pattern ❤😘
Your Palermo is lovely! I have this pattern. I’m tall and long waisted so I’d need to figure out how to lengthen for sure. I’m starting a new job soon and will need sweaters for the office that runs cool. That box of threads you received free is better than a box of chocolates! 🧵🪡🍫
Ooh do let me know if you do. I totally agree about the threads and I'm completely addicted to chocolate 😂
Would love to hear your opinion about sewing subscriptions you have tried. Cardi is interesting and looks good on you.
Great! thanks, I think I'll stitch down the facing today 😀❤
I need that😊
Cheryl
Thanks Cheryl sounds like we're on the same wavelength 😀😘
I'd be curious to hear why you don't want to renew fibremood subscription
Great, I'll do that soon 🙏
I always seem to have everything you make on my list! Had the Norma printed for ages, I was a bit hesitant as the fabric I have is patterned, but you've proven that it looks great in patterned fabric, and I think I'll need to grade out at the hips too! I love the Vali, think it's' definitely going on my list for summer
Yes, we often make the same things - or we just have great taste 😂❤
Love the Style Arc top I have only tried one Style Arc pattern when I first started sewing so it was not a success temped to try again but….. I enjoy your vlogs always something out of the ordinary more for my age group but modern and stylish.
Thanks so much Aileen, I kept looking on TH-cam for someone older but modern and couldn't find anyone at that time so thought I'd see if there were others like us out there 😂😘
I would love to know your thoughts on fibremood Alex as I’ve often wondered about buying it etc xx
I’d be interested in knowing your thoughts about fiber mood 😊
Great, thanks for letting me know. ❤
I have often wondered about fibremood - for instance what do subscribers get that is better than the free patterns? Would be keen to see a video with your thoughts.
Love all your makes, agree about the length of the StyleArc cardigan - the pattern picture looks longer too. I’m only 5’3” so it would probably be a good length on me and it would be a good garment for work where I wear an apron and don’t want to be taking it off if I overheat or get cold (which happens because of the aircon on the shop floor in comparison to the warmer back area)
I am making a shirt!
Exactly and makes you feel all high tech 😂. I'l definitely do a Fibremood vid ❤
I would like to know the reasons behind your Fibremood decision. I have just ordered the latest magazine. It will get to Australia eventually1
ooh and then you have to trace the patterns 😱
what hair colour do you use? your hair is gorgeous
I used good old fashioned Henna although my hair is naturally red the henna gives it a boost and covers the grey!
Quick question Alex - is TFG fabrics in store only? I can’t find them online x
Love your tops. I made the Norma top months ago and I've never worn it. It just doesn't fit right. Would like to hear your thought on Fibermood.
Will do!! 🙏
Thank you so much, did you trace off from the magazine? 😬❤
Great suggestion, but I'm probably biased as I mostly sewed with Burda for years and years while money was tight and children were young 😊❤
I’d love to know your thought on fiber mood. Your tops are all gorgeous.
Coming soon!💗
What size did you make in the Palermo?
I made a 14 which is usually spot on for my at Style Arc
Ooh Jane that makes me feel better, thank you 😘❤
🐯
🇨🇦😃
.
