Did you know: RAF Eastchurch came about, because that's where the first cross channel flight was launched?
There's a memorial to it, in the little village, at the top of the only hill on the island.

Warden battery would have comunicated with garison fort and RAF eastchurch to co-ordinate defence and ships comming through the Thames estuary they were either built during or just after WW1 the dates are difficult to pin down

RAF Eastchurch became a semi open prison, just after the war ended.
RAF Eastchurch was moved in land, in 1939/40, to Biggin Hill.

Yo bud there WW2 defence bunkers they were used to defend the Thames estuary from an invasion from the Nazis during the time they occupied France as we sit on the entrance to the estuary all they would have to do is cross the channel and enter the estuary to invade London 🤙👍

Hello thank you for you comment and yes we must certainly do know the USS Richard Montgomery you can see it from sheerness or at least the bits sticking out when it's not fully high tide it is located at 51.465486, 0.788436

I don't mind the music or the camera work but as a story about the Hidden Secrets of the Isle of Sheppey in my humble opinion it is extremely uninformative. Have you tried another career as a DJ?
