I blasted by a 2.0 accord going 70 the other day because that accord had a few second turbo spool time. Later on that day I saw the same accord on the side of the highway being towed. Later to find out the turbo overheated. I felt sorry for the guy.
Honda definitely under rates what is literally the Type R engine. Stock it’s been dynod at closer to 300 hp. Also the transmission in the Toyotas let them down.

oh man doing that with the tank low is absolutely terrible for the fuel pump. fuel pump will wear out quickly if you keep doing that. keep the gas at least quarter if not half a tank so the pump is fully submerged.

I love my SE camry 2018. the new design from the side is absolutely same. its very hard for toyota to fully change the model because it is still the best camry ever made. Just love it Even the saloon the upper part is the same, selector lever is same,panels is the same. the main changes are from the front and the beck side. for me this steering wheel way cooler than the new one.
I have the 2020 Camry se not buying another car till it breaks down plan on putting a new transmission in when ever it needs it so I guess I won't get the V6 Camry for a while if they still have it
I see different specs on the 0-60 times. 0-60 in 6.3- 6.7 seconds is way too slow for this car. My 2009 Camry was a fast beast and had less HP. Does the XSE and TRD V6 go 0-60 in 5.1 seconds?
You got to remember the 2009 Camry didn’t have the systems that are in the new Camry. Making it more heavy and electronic packed. Trust me older cars do push faster because of less electronics.
@@UruieieThe older ones are not that much lighter factually, almost identical actually... it's mainly due to the transmissions. The older 6 speed has a better shift pattern that keeps the engine in its power band better than the 8 speed that's geared for MPG, even in the TRD.
One thing to try is to be in sport mode but leave TC on. Second, don’t mash the gas all at once. Otherwise it’ll spin the tires Gradually ease into the throttle and as you pick up speed go all the way down the pedal
You are dreaming. I’ve got XV70 3.5 300 hp and it does 0-100 km/h in real life about 7 sec. even with factory 19 inch wheels it spins a lot on take off. So you can’t depress throttle, not like on rwd

Sorry, no Camry without expensive modification will get under 5 sec. The 7th Gen Camry V6 best is 5.1 sec. 8th Gen is 5.3 sec. with retune and great tires and a Professional driver. Much has to do with the 8-speed tranny gear ratios. If it were the rubber band CVT the Camry be snail pace. Got the HP but can wind up that rubber band fast enough.

The best that a trd a do is 5.6 seconds. And that was done by car and driver. No camry is doing 5.3 let alone 5.1 seconds. Thats g37 territory which I know will easily destroy any Camry.
It can do 5.7 sec 0 to 60. When tuned also with best tires and have a professional driver it will do 5.3 second from 0 to 60mph. Need to improve your technique and quicker reflexes to get better timing. Most people get between 6.3 to 6.8 sec. Truth is, the 7th Gen Camry V6 was able to get 5.1 sec. But the 8th Gen weighs a bit more and Toyota messed with the gear ratio of the 8-speed tranny so it will be a fraction slower than the 7th Gen. You done well, I cannot hit 6.3 sec due to my age. - Reflexes just slow I get like 6.5 or 6.6 sec. in my 2023 Camry XSE V6 fully loaded. I got rid of dangerous and faulty OEM Bridgestone Turanza EL440 tires. Got Michelin CrossClimate2 which possibly why I am unable to get 6.3 sec or better.
Just get a used 2014-2019 lexus is350 instead much nicer interior, RWD, much better handling/sportier and their made in japan unlike the camry so reliability is even better.
Lexus and Toyotas are all so slow for what they are. I know they’re all super realiable etc etc, but deduct a little bit of the reliability for some more speed !!!!

Reliability isn't the concern. It's the assembly of panels that the US plants don't get right. Thing rattles and buzzes way too much for the top trim.
