    Thank you for this video! Nearly 6 weeks out after TKR and I’ve done first 5-12 min of this video a few times to slowly and safely start back on my reformer :)

    Thanks so much. I am doing pre op exercise and just received my Pilates machine. Surgery is in two weeks. I will use it up to that point and when I’m able to after surgery

    Thank you for the video. Is it ok for my mom 78 y to exercise, after patella break, now recovered? And she also doesn't have ligaments in this knee. We need to find exercize to stronger her quads without any pressure on the knees. Thank you for answering.

      Hi! Yes, these exercises should be good. I haven't seen this video in a while so I don't quite recall which exercises are included, but I would say Footwork (feet on bar) with a spring tension that feels good to her would be great, strengthening the side glutes with the strap over the knee/on the thigh is excellent. Hope that helps!

    Thank you! Are all of these ok to do after dislocating knee? Can walk, go up stairs slowly, and bend knee

      If you don't feel any pain, you should be good to go. However, consulting with your physical therapist is always a good idea :)

      Hey! You are so right! I just looked on their site, and it seems like they're not selling them at the moment. I reached out to someone from their team asking if they're still making them. Keep you posted ;)

    Hi. All the cords on my reformer are black. Please could you tell me how I can use these appropriately with this workout? Thank you

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Jean, if your springs are all the same tension, then I would say test out what feels best. My guess is that if they are all the same they might be similar to my heavy spring (red). My heaviest spring is red, then blue is medium and yellow is very very light.

    Would this be ok (once cleared from Dr) to do with my son after and ACL tear? Thanks!

    I am hoping to heal my knee with pilates and not have to have surgery.

    • @SaranPilates
      @SaranPilates  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pilates can do wonders to help prevent knee surgery. And when knee surgery is really inevitable, Pilates is the very best for rehab. I wish you all the best!
