I got one of those since last black friday, exactly 48” and everything. I love it!

Love the video and change my setting to match and it looks great. One thing though is I have the same tv but don’t see “Dynamic Tone Mapping” could the setting have been moved?

Good Video and I know im loving this TV in my room I have a PS3 and a Xbox One X hooked to it and both Consoles are able to be set to full RGB which this OLED can handle with its deeper blacks and high contrast the TV also upscales PS3 games at 720p and 1080p very well I must had tried every PS3 games I had and they all look better on this TV another great feature this TV has but you have to get into a hidden menu is to turn on HLG HDR to SDR content so I have this set up for the PS3 which takes the image and adds HLG HDR and playing games in HDR is a step up from SDR not as good as a Native HDR game console and game but defiantly a upgrade.
My Son has a Series X on a 4k none HDR TV but a One X hooked up to this TV gives the Visual on my Sons LCD TV a run for its money....This TV makes just about anything look better or as it was suppose to.........PS....I hope you can get a 48inch C3 to compare.

Thanks for the tip on Freesync Premium - that defo improved the picture quality and performance for me. My only thing with this TV is the sound - I cant put my finger on it but I feel it lacks something, it just sounds tinny. Not sure if theres a setting I could change to improve that? I'm playing RDR2 and the gun shots just don't have the same thudd they did on my previous TV which was another LG (not an OLED) from 2018.
Try switching your audio to cinema, did that for my c2 and it was a big improvement

For some reason my HDR is set to OFF in the game optimizer menu. I can’t find where to turn that on. Any suggestions?

Ugh i have Cs and some options greyed out. I ahve allow auto low lagency on but the box on top says its off. Also say VRR is off but its at 120 hertz. And xbox x is also. Not sure how to fine tune these for best gaming settings

The Vrr (G-sync) is only used when using tv as a monitor for computer.

Yes it used to be like that but Sony added support for both nvidia G-sync and amd freesync to the PS5 last year.
I notice i have ghosting in almost every game i play. Is it the tv the ps5 or what is it? Its driving me insane, if its the tv i feel like i wasted alot of money getting it. Can i remove the ghosting somehow?

Do you use auto, native, or dynamic color gammut for gaming ?
Native
auto usually does a good job at identifying the intended color gamut for the media you’re using. manually choosing ones just comes down to preference, whether you like more saturated, brighter colors that pop more, or lower, desaturated and less outspoken colors.
Never had an oled Is there any issue with Burnin on the new oled TVs?
LG has a fair bit of tech implemented to make sure burn-in isn’t as prevalent or as bad of an issue. you can check out RTINGS burn-in tests to see how various TV’s (mainly OLEDs) deal with stuff like that, and it’s pretty impressive. unless you’re keeping these TV’s on the same picture for days upon days at a time without a break, they should be fine.
How do I turn oled motion on for gaming .
You don’t want to do that as it will introduce a lot of input lag, but if you don’t care about that, you’d have to switch the picture mode from game to something else. Than the feature will be available again.
Is it best on series x to have Dolby vision on or off ?
I turned mine off eventually it was damaging the picture for me

Lol changing the blk stable and the white stab equal just puts you back to zero, wow these guys thinking they know how to calibrate. First you cal your basic tv pic 5 times! Then you cal your Xbox hdr before you adjust tv gaming, know you have a base cal, now you set the gaming mode cal and fine tune. You also have to make sure some of the tv functions are turned off to cal the gaming mode correctly
I can’t get my c3 to push 120 fps
Be noted that not all games support 120 fps
Input delay: ‘boost’ only works on games at 60 fps.
Contrast: 85 as u said in HDR, but put at 100 when in Dolby Vision.
Ps5, put screen brightness to 48 due to black level raise, but keep at 50 on Xbox.
Also, very importantly, you should edit your hdmi, and put it into PC mode for more color and smoother gradation.

How do you put HDMI into PC mode?
@@_mylastname Hold input button. Click the 3 dots in top right corner. Click edit. Click edit inputs. You’ll see your 4 hdmi inputs, now click the small icon to the left of the dialogue box of the input you’d like to switch. Scroll down and select PC

@@_mylastname ok. I must’ve setup a shortcut? Anywho, holding my input button brings me to the home dashboard. So go to dashboard, and click the 3 buttons at top right, and finish the rest of the aforementioned
I applied these settings to my LG C3 for my PS5 and the these settings are mint! 🤌
I have to say, at this moment in time, do NOT upgrade to the C3 if you have the C2, if you use it mainly for gaming.
At the moment, in the UK, you can get the C2 48'' which is the perfect size for gaming, for £999.
They want £1,500 for the C3 48''...... That is £500 more, for new setting that are amazing for sport, movies etc, but make ZERO difference in terms of gaming performance.
An expensive mistake..... The C2 will be good for people, for at least another 24 months.
