Sweet, another period pitch piece! You’ve likely noticed by now that the lower tension makes it more comfortable to play. Is it easier for your thumb? (which I remember you mentioning was having difficulty)
Thanks, again. I notice no difference in comfort of playing. If anything, I miss the tension in the strings at modern pitch. As for my RH thumb (and index finger) issues, no difference at all. It's not really a muscle or tendon problem, I don't think. There is no pain whatsoever, just a lack of precise control in the index and some involuntary movement in the thumb. I only notice it when playing an arpeggio that requires use of the index (which is most arpeggios, of course) or when alternating i-m with free stroke.
wunderschön!
Danke, Stefanie!
Thank you!
You're welcome, Remi. Thank you for listening!
Great performance. The lower pitch sounds quite good.
Thanks again. The lower pitch makes these familiar pieces sound and feel fresh to me.
This is gold!!!
Thank you, Matteo!
Great job Eric! 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you, Juan!
