Caprice No. 24 is a staple among classical guitarists, but no one plays it better than Haruna Miyagawa. She is simply extraordinary. I keep returning to this video, watching it almost daily.
This is the most impressive guitar performance I have ever seen, and I've witnessed many performances over the years, both in-person and on video. Absolutely incredible.
I recorded this video. This video concert has been released on DVD. At the time of recording, she was an 18-year-old high school student. She is grateful that many people have watched the video and received many complimentary comments.
I am struck in the past few years by the number of great young players shining on this platform. Now another one to follow. Fantastic work, young lady.
@@AtulKaushal7 her hands are massive and all fucked up. Jazz guitarists have more style and creativity. Classical is just for repeating the old works...never anything new.
I come from the same town of Paganini, Genoa, and guitarist myself. You gave me goosebumps, I've never seen such a beautiful performance played on a guitar like you did of this tremendously difficult Capriccio.. Bravissima!!! Spettacolare!!!!
Seeing this 7 months later. This performance is absolutely Phenomenal. The attention to detail is mind blowing.🤯I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed with a performance. Classical guitar Ling Ling❤️😂 #twosetviolin
Wow, that was extraordinary! It might be common at this level, but at 2:10 I've never seen a pinky vibrato while holding notes on other strings. Well done!
Just when I feel good about my guitar playing I see something like this and realize I have a lot of work to do. Thank you for humbling me. Back to work!
There are only a handful of guitarists in the world who can run through those arpeggios like her without messing it up. You can’t learn this stuff.. it’s got to come from some place else !
I had to make sure I didn't have the speed set to 1.5x. This is humbling, inspiring and fascinating all at once. Now I will spend the next few hours finding all Haruna Miyagwa videos on TH-cam.
I think the default video is sped up by the software. Too Jerky to be natural. But still undeniably she is extremely skillful. Not sure why the editor need to do that.
IIt is me that recorded this video. I am not doing the editing to do fast. The editing is not necessary for her technique Moreover, she was an 18-year-old high school student at the time of recording.
Agive away to know if there is speed editing is to watch the hair. In this case that strand of hair she has hanging down is moving naturally. There was no editing here to speed it up.
@@AcousticOlli ok it is either the people are so easily triggered or misunderstood what people are saying. 1st, I did not say she played badly. 2nd, it look speed up to me cause the fingers were simply too jerky when I was watching it. I dunno why a comment abt the video meant that I am saying her skill is bad. I can understand the one editing the video reacted badly to this, but really, u guys need to see where my comments are aiming. It is definitely not aim at the player.

Holy Jeebuz... Excellent technique, very nice expressivity. I like the fact that there are several occasions where she chooses to get closer to the Jascha Heiffetz version, instead of the more popular guitar versions. A new approach to this magnifficent piece. Congratulations!
Other players exert too much effort and look stressed and pressured while playing Caprice #24...not you who still looks graceful and fluid in your performance. Amazing, Haruna Miyagawa!!!
It warms my heart to see these young talented musicians. I'm at the end of my journey the closing years of a long life. Thank you for sharing your music with us.

So basically she learned this when she was like 2 and just been polishing it out since
18 year WOw. Hope she will be the greatest guitarist before 30!!
I can’t even play this on the radio without messing it up, let alone the guitar
Absolutely brilliant🥰

Her playing technique is outstanding. Also, despite her being young, she has the excellent playing imagination.

It's so different. I never thought I would be able to distinguish between musicians, it is subtle, but you do play wonderfully.
Difficulty level 11/10.
This is a guitar difficulty level we did not even know existed

Clean? No ....
Ms Miyagawa, how can you produce such beautiful tone at that speed? Wonderful tone! ...the best I've ever heard, at any velocity.
