Is this controversial? I’m Protestant and I agree. Yes it’s about the Good News of Jesus and how we are justified by His sacrifice, but that’s just step one. It’s not like the goal is to just go to heaven for eternity. Gods going to establish a new kingdom, a new earth and heaven! New bodies for us which our Lord was the first to receive and a new Jerusalem where God will be with us! God being love and loving us wants us to be a part of that! Which is soooo awesome! In the mean time while we wait we are to spread the good news so that God can save as many people as possible. We tell them and the Holy Spirit convicts them. Praise God! 🙏✝️🙏
I think the point he's making is that it's not primarily all about us. God's Kingdom is the first order of things, and human salvation only fits in once ordered to that. Also, he does mention justification, which includes forgiveness of sins.
@@TimSpangler-rd6vs true, all that we have comes through Him. However, that doesn't mean we (humanity) aren't part of the story at all. God loves us and invites us into relationship. That relationship can only exist if we accept and respond to it.
