Let us explore the beauty of Burad Beach and the mysterious Pototan Cave in barangay Manila, Rapu-Rapu, Albay. TWO GEMS IN ONE BARANGAY!
Burad Beach is situated in Sitio Burad of Brgy. Manila in Batan Island. The name was derived from the bicol term BURAD, which means curved. It has a white sand beach, crystalline water, and a background of overlooking Mayon Volcano. It’s a highly recommended and deserves a spot in your itinerary.
Another attraction nearby is the mysterious Pototan cave. It is a four-hour spelunking adventure about 10 ft. above the beach line. The cave has an underground river that calmly flows into different chambers. The cave has various shapes and sizes of speleothems and there are reddish marks on the cave roofs which believed as ancient coral skeleton.
