wwww I love this. Normally I hate kirby theories that frame kirby as evil since it neglects that Kirby is also a child. Children have a more narrow way of processing good and evil as well as reacting to trauma. Kirby being attacked once before, lead him to be on the defensive. King Dedede being an adult, if sometimes unrefined and a rascal, still remains concerned for dreamland and even Kirby when things get truly dangerous. Than their friendship grows more and their rivalry remains but on much better terms now.
It's annoying that a lot of people forget that Kirby is a child and has the very straightforward mind-set of one; quick to put the blame on someone who seems to be an obvious culprit, and his single-minded determination to fulfill a goal without thinking it through. He's matured a lot since the old days when he and Dedede fought against each other for seemingly petty reasons, and now the two actually seem to be friends of sorts after the grudge match. At the very least, he doesn't assume on the spot that Dedede is behind whatever disaster befalls dreamland. That being said, he still makes mistakes, like with Magolor, but to be fair, he fooled Dedede and Meta Knight too.
Another thing SPOILERS RETURN TO DREAMLAND: In that game Kirby fights Magolor, and in Kirby 20th anniversary game Magolor came back and Kirby decided to forgive him (the director confirmed that game is canon)
"And this time the story is so deep that not even Kirby could inhale it... Somebody........STOLE HIS CAKE" I've been two hours laughing, amazing you deserve more subs
I clicked on this expecting to frown in disdain at yet another troll trying to paint Kirby as an unrelenting douchebag. But I _love_ where it ended up going: Kirby's growing up and _learning_. He knows now that Dedede isn't that bad a guy, just kindof a dick sometimes, and even that's been changing over the years. In hindsight, my expectations were pretty unfounded considering I loved your video about K. Rool as well. _Kirby_ can be a surprisingly deep series sometimes, and that said, this is a pretty good assessment of his character. The kid's really growing into his role as Hero of Popstar and I love that. Nice work!
I see Kirby as a pink puff ball if pure good intentions, but he's not very bright and jumps to conclusions immediately, as we can see in dynablade from super star, squeak squad, where he basically caused all the trouble and some other ocations
I find it sad that Dedede didn't get a bigger role in Planet Robobot. If you must know, he's absent during the entire game due to the fact that his castle is destroyed with him in it, and Kirby doesn't know until the game ends. Dedede does get clones of him though.
But we do really need a king dedede fight that isn't a clone or controlled just fighting on his own hand and nothing controlling for the next dedede fight
Yes. This 100%. This video is perfect and I have no idea how this flies over a lot of people's heads but Kirby is a character who primarily learns to forgive. You can see this, although to a different degree, in his interactions with Meta Knight, too.
Didn't do much research on the connection between Kirby and Meta Knight, but glad that there is more evidence to support my video! And I'm glad that you enjoyed it!
I love that aspect of forgiveness in the kirby games! pretty much most of kirby's friends were once enemies to him (the squeak squad, taranza, magolor) and it's just so nice to see these characters actually change and grow and forgive.
I guess Susie from Planet Robobot and Claycia from Rainbow Curse are reformed Kirby villains too. You guys think we'll get another reformed villain in Star Allies?
Dusty I think Meta Knight changed more because of Kirby than the other way around. Kirby never had much of a grudge on his besides his only attempt at doing something bad (his first apearance doesn't count because he was helping Dedede contain Nightmare). But the trust between them has grown a lot.
it's so refreshing to see someone who hasn't played a kirby game actually try to understand the nature of his character and his relationship with dedede, since these characters and their relationship are so often misconstrued. very accurate and well put together analysis!
As for justifying Kirby attacking and eating normal enemies and bosses: Kirby Dream Land: The enemies were working for Dedede. Adventure: The enemies were working for Dedede and Meta Knight. Revenge of Meta Knight: They were working with Meta Knight. As for Whispy Woods and Twin Woods, storywise(not gameplay), they might have attacked first. Amazing Mirror: It was corrupted and everything was likely under Dark Mind's control. Shadow Kirby being an exemption because Kirby was split in 4. Canvas Curse: They were likely being controlled by Drawcia. Squeak Squad: They were working for Meta Knight, Dedede, and the Squeaks. Mass Attack: Most were working for Necrodeus and Dedede. Epic Yarn: Yin Yarn was controlling them. Return: Popstar:They opposed Dedede and/or Meta Knight and thus opposed Kirby by association. Halcandra: The ruler of Halcandra thought our heroes were working with Magolor. Sphere Doomers: They were hostile because Kirby was invading their territory. Triple Deluxe: They obeyed Sectonia or blamed Kirby for getting them into the land of the sky. Planet Robobot: Some were mechanized and/or working with Haltman. Others were frightened. People and animals sometimes become hostile when frightened.
The ending music and voice almost made me cry. The soft tone of your voice with the music from my favorite and memorable game mixed makes me feel better about my life.
People really underestimate the power of the Kirby soundtrack. It has some REALLY good songs. *Edit: Thought I would clarify in case you did not know, that was the actual song that played in the game at that part.
Everyone says that in Kirby Adventure, Kirby was an idiot for not listening to Dedede at the beginning, but imagine if Kirby didn't restore the Star Rod, no one in Dreamland would be able to dream again. Plus, Kirby defeated nightmare anyways. So Dedede did keep Nightmare from taking over Dreamland but he didn't defeat Nightmare, he just kept the people of Dreamland from dreaming instead of trying to defeat Nightmare. So Kirby did the right thing in that instance.
Pkfier Exactly. I find it absolutely genius because all this time Kirby, instead of simply letting enemies, evil objects and Eldritch Abominations be, he charges full tilt and destroys them before they can become a problem.
their race is like planets, they need thousand of years to mature but since the show is cannon, we don't really know how old kirby is, they shipped him a little after birth, like superman lol, but because of space time differential we can't know his actual age
Soo, this video was pretty nice, especially because i never read the manual of kirby's adventure before(pretty interesting!), and the ending of the video made me all fuzzy inside😁, but i have some small tiny complains. First of all, it lacks the ESSENTIAL mentions of dreamland 2 and 3's stories, as they are the direct prequels of kirby 64. In those two games the relation between kirby and dedede's gets even more developement, and also brings further light to the "possible reason" for why kirby wasn't "all that concerned" about dedede in 64, as dedede has the really awful tendency to get possessed by dark powers a lot (like bowser😅). Not only that, we could also point out that neither of adeleine and ribbon showed concern over the king tecnically, even if in dreamland 3 dedede and adeleine-ado showed to be friends. Honestly, the beginning of the video about the first various games was a tiny bit too harsh on kirby's side. I agree about the story in kirby's adventure, he was kind of a big jerk (and i guess the same thing happens in squick squad), but from that point onward the two of them had only a somewhat small rivalry, that for some reason only related to food questions. We can see from the games in general how silly and happy-go-lucky kirby is. He's not the brightest guy, and neither one that likes to stop and carefully think before getting into actions. I wouldn't really call that a sign of hatred. (I doubt he even knows what that word means to begin with) He thinks of a culprit and goes for it. I do agree about what you said during the revenge of the king portion tho, as dedede really wanted to beat him to regain his pride. Anyway, this video was a really pleasant one to watch😁 keep up the good work!
On the adventure/squeak squad thing, kirby is just a child. He has a more basic version of good/evil is. Dedede did something bad in the past, it would only make sense to assume he would do it again
Where would Kirby Tilt 'n Tumble be placed? At the end of that one, Dedede cried after being defeated, and Kirby gave him a shoulder pat, after which they walked off together. Seemed like they were friends in that one, and Dedede was just being dumb (seriously, jealous that the starry sky got more attention than him? lol XD)
No one is perfect. The way you pieced the games together is a perfect example of Kirby and King Dedede changing from being rivals to eventually becoming friends. The added sounds effects were funny. :)
I kinda like this concept. Dedede is one of my favorite characters already so this spices stuff up (Marks kicks the door open) YOU BETRAYED ME YOU LIL’ RRREEEEEEEEEEE
8:55 "*A* Waddle Dee"? Boy, that Waddle Dee will soon be one of the most important characters in Kirby. You really should start referring to him in his name.
BANDANA DEE WANTS TA GET STRONGER! Following Kirby in his adventures after his defeat in the Megaton Punch mini-game, watching the Masked Dedede fight for possibly battle tips, he helps Kirby in his adventure on robobot! Finally Bandana Dee has made a name for himself, not being another simple Waddle dee
At first, I thought this was yet another jab towards Kirby, which was why I wasn't here immediately after this video launched. But something kept telling me to watch it and so I did, and I don't regret it. Wow, what character development, and it's so sweet and beautiful.
This made me cry, of laughter and of cuteness. I loved this video. This story is so indepth that kirby couldn't even swallow it, *SOMEONE STOLE HIS CAKE*
The Game Theorists: *makes a theory about Kirby being evil and gets above a million views* King J. Grim: *makes an actually accurate theory and gets low views* TH-cam makes zero sense.
You're absolutely right! Though you people are the ones who can decide if attention does meet my face! Spread me around to the people you think may enjoy my content :)
I mean Dedede didn't explain why he destroyed the Star Rod And in Squeak Squad, it's kinda normal for him to assume Dedede since he stole the food once Also can we mention he no longer does impulsive things anymore? Pretty great overall
Another example of kirby becoming more forgiving is Magolor, who came back in Kirby's 20 years collections. In Return to Dreamland, Magolor tricks kirby into helping him to get the master crown, and then both fight eachother, with Magolor losing control of all his power in the process. Then the master crown was destroyed and Magolor was sent in Another Dimension, while the one they were in collapse on itself, but alas kirby and its friends. Except Magolor comes back, as a friend to kirby. No other villain before had done this, because (almost) every villain died after fighting kirby. The dark matters, 0 and 0², Nightmare, Dark Mind, heck even Marx did not survive while he did almost exactly what Magolor did! Granted, they were mostly pure forms of evil even a supercomputer can't fully understand, but still. Yet Magolor was forgiven. In Kirby's 20 years collection, he even made a whole amusement park for kirby, racing with him for fun, even if the last one is a bit more serious. And in Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, he's got a shoppe to help kirby. Most kirby villains nowadays are spared by kirby: Claycia, Taranza, Susie even if she wasn't controlled by evil forces like the first two. The pink puffball has learned over the years to forgive, because as he beat more and more villains, he understood that not everyone is a black blob of evil and hatred.
In a world full of ancient technologies and artifacts belonging to a long dead race, a death cult worshipping an elder god like being they do not know, and a mortifying act of accidental patricide, can one really be surprised that the villain goes through more of an arc than the "hero?"
The points you made in this video were truly amazing, Ive played half of the games mentioned in this video, and ive never realized the relationship grow, subbing
You skipped Dream Land 2 and 3, which introduces the being known as Dark Matter. It is what appears as the true final boss of Kirby 64. I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter much in your story, but King Deedeedee has been posessed many times through the series. Just something I wanted to say.
Technically the Dreamland trilogy and Crystal Shards are related directly. DL2 is a sequel to Dreamland/Spring Breeze and introduced Dark Matter, DL3 introduced 0 the source of Dark Matter, and Crystal Shards has 02 which is basically 0-Soul and we can tell due to the bandage on its top which would be wbere it ripped its own eye out to continue the fight against Kirby in the previous game, plus 0*2* so... yeah.
And in the latest kirby game, he marches up to King DeeDeeDee's castle and beats him and his oldy shaped gorilla arms up. Does that take place before triple deluxe (which is why kirby tries to save him)?
2:13 With the way Kirby's mouth is angled, instead of having a determined look, it just sorta makes Kirby look like he's pissed off cuz he hasn't had his morning coffee lol
i would argue that i think is in Kirby: battle royale when you have another duel with King Dedede, it's stated that is ''Dedede's last shot for revenge''
Amazing video! Perfect ease into the seriousness from the silliness, in the beginning, there was snap edits, cracking jokes, etc. But near the end, it got serious, and the transition from silly to serious was almost nonexistent! The style of the video was very respectable and the whole thing felt very held together and merged. Silly and serious in one. Good job!
Yes I was expecting this to be another theory about how Kirby is a maniac tyrant eating everything in sight or something like that but I loved it and it actually made sense
DeDeDe had so much crap don to him. Even his "evil deeds" of stealing food was for feeding his subjects. He had to do what kings had to do: take care of his subjects. Sure, he might have been heartless, but he put his underlings before anything else.
0:39 I think almost everyone first came into contact with Kirby in smash 64. I personally never even played a smash game yet, let alone a Kirby game, so my first time playing a game with Kirby in it was with star allies.
Kirby and Dedede's relationship is best summed up in the anime, honestly. Sometimes they're friends, sometimes they're enemies, each doesn't want to admit they care about the other, etc. There's two episodes in particular that specifically show that Dedede cares (one where everyone thinks the world's gonna end, another where Dedede thinks he killed Kirby).
5:40 Incorrect: That was Zero's doing, not the shard: The shard was merely what Zero was after, Dedede was just in the way. Both Dedede and Meta Knight are more of anti-heroes in the Kirby universe: In the anime King D. had a park built for Kirby from the belief that Pop Star was going to be destroyed by a meteorite, whereas in at least one of the games Meta Knight is trying to prove himself as the strongest being in the Galaxy. Dedede will always be a greedy king, but he knows when and how to see the bigger picture, and Meta Knight will always be challenging bigger and bigger enemies, including Kirby himself. And yes, Kirby IS the hero. You seen what all he's defeated, yeah? From Zero 2 to Void Termina, Nightmare 'n' Marx, Kirby time and time again kills eldritch horrors, for he himself is one.
I like to separate the old Kirby games and new ones in a way similar to Sonic, with Modern and Classic Kirby. I think Classic ended with Super Star Ultra and Modern began with KRTDL. In the classic games, Kirby was a hero with barely any allies, and in the modern ones, he befriends everyone he sees, and for the first time has game-spanning friends: Meta Knight, Dedede, and Bandana Dee. My question is, (especially with Bandana Dee and Dedede) why are they friends all of a sudden?
We do dream every night. More than once per night, too, though it's very common to forget most, if not all dreams. Not dreaming would be indeed some very bad sleep.
The timeline is mostly just in order of each games release, Kirby fights so save worlds, people, dreams and food. also king Dedede is only evil once the other times it’s a misunderstanding or demonic possession.
The video was ok. But still, it wasn't the crystal possessing the characters in The Crystal Shards. The Waddle Dee was possessed by Dark Matter, along with Adeleine and King Dedede. Not the crystal shards. Replay the game and notice Dark Matter go inside Waddle Dee to turn him into a Waddle Doo.
While a mistake, that shouldn't change any of my main points when it comes to the main topic of my video... but sure, I'll be more careful in the future
Then in Star Allies Dedede starts pulling a Dreamland and Kirby goes on another rampage to King Dedede, whilst destroying everything in his path. After beating Dedede, a dark heart emerges, and Kirby being Kirby, completely ignores Dedede and goes on yet another rampage, tracking the hearts down to deep space, and destroying every last bit of anything related to the thing that interrupted his nap.
This is a bit... how should i say... misunderstood? I mean its only that way because you havent played the other games, but dont get mad, theres just a few things i wanna point out that you missed from the games you mentioned in the video: -Meta knight is not evil, but nor is he good. He is literally the batman of this franchise, helping kirby out when necessary, but also punishing him if he is in the wrong. -dark matter and dark nebula are the same character, dark matter was not killed in his game, but rather sealed, and we can infer by squeak squad that he was sealed in a magical chest. In fact, kirby games make it clear that an unknown dark antagonist is dark matter reborn if they have the following: - one single red eye - the color black or purple. - daroach, the mouse with a red cape and tophat (the leader of the squeak squad) is in the same position as meta knight, neither a villain or hero.... hes just a thief, and likes stealing for the sake of... idk, riches? Point is, he turns over a new leaf in the endgame of kirby squeak squad. - the waddle dee that watches dedede's grudge match in super star ultra is known as "Bandana waddle dee", dedede's loyal right hand general.
Dedede helps because he always realizes he can't be Monarch of Dream World if there IS NO Dream World. He's very much like Bowser in that aspect that he doesn't want to destroy the world or anything but rule it instead. That means occasionally having to help his rival, Kirby, instead of hindering him.
wwww I love this. Normally I hate kirby theories that frame kirby as evil since it neglects that Kirby is also a child. I find it sad that Dedede didn't get a bigger role in Planet Robobot.

I know I'm a year late, but Meta Knight was completely missing from Kirby 64, as well.
You forgot that Dedede was under Dark Matter's control in Dream Lands 2 & 3
yet wasn't too consequential to this as 64 is "Dream Land 64" in Japanese.
@@ExiledBowser late, but it's actually "kirby of the stars 64".
I think he didn’t bring it up because Kirby didn’t really react to Dedede being possessed in dreamland 2 and 3
Yes. This 100%. This video is perfect and I have no idea how this flies over a lot of people's heads but Kirby is a character who primarily learns to forgive. You can see this, although to a different degree, in his interactions with Meta Knight, too.

I mean we can't really like be too harsh on Kirby's thought process he is like a baby in their world
that's only in the anime.
Some games refer him as "little boy" so yeah, he's basically a kid/baby
A op baby
He is kid, but not a baby. He is only a baby in the anime. In the games he is a kid, and is capable of speech.
@Sonicthehedgehoggamer Yes.

Actually Kirby is still a baby, Metaknight is an adult 300-600 yrs old... around those numbers anyway
Thunder's Wrath (according to right back at cha) kirby is about 1000 years old so meta knight would be 30000 years old I think
their race is like planets, they need thousand of years to mature but since the show is cannon, we don't really know how old kirby is, they shipped him a little after birth, like superman lol, but because of space time differential we can't know his actual age

32 more * sniff * until 64 * sniff *
Man I just watched fives of these videos in a row. Dude you need more subs.
Mr.Airplane hopefully i get more in the future :) hope you enjoyed all of them
You skipped some games like Dreamland 2,Amazing Mirror, etc. In Dreamland 2 and 3 Dedede was possesed too
Nin Gamer Of course I did. I said I was focusing on those games, because it showed quite easily how the relationship between Kirby and Dedede changed,
Oh ok sorry.
Nin Gamer Lol why would you even add that to this comment? XD
Never mess with Kirby. You're next, Galeem from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: World of Light!
I kinda like this concept. Dedede is one of my favorite characters already so this spices stuff up
(Marks kicks the door open) YOU BETRAYED ME YOU LIL’ RRREEEEEEEEEEE
Never cared for Dedede before making this video, now I adore the Fat Penguin!
8:55
"*A* Waddle Dee"?
OMG YES HE LOVED THIS COMMENT AHHHH U DA BEST
2:37 - if you wait on the title screen, it shows the story
OH MY GOD THEY BOTH HAVE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
The Game Theorists: *makes a theory about Kirby being evil and gets above a million views*
King J. Grim: *makes an actually accurate theory and gets low views*
TH-cam makes zero sense.
Because matpat has more subscribers
Kirby Titanfall?
I don't blame him, that was my first reaction other than I NEED IT!
somebody: (steals kirbys cake)
Kirby: NO... OUT OF ALL OF THEM... YOU!!!.... IVE NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF ANGER BEFORE.....PERISH
Grim: why does.kirby protect the universe
Me: maybe because he naps in it
5:45 the reason he dosent care his because its the 3rd time Dark matter possesed DeDeDe.
All fairness to Kirby,
if someone stole my cake I’d be fuming and probably blame the greedy guy
This stuff is confusing because I'm in the middle of watching his show Right Back at Ya
That Monster Girl Quest music at 4:16 tho
But kirby 64 is the last part of a trilogy of games.
and then there's the rest of kirby lore...
Kirby is the most powerful protagonist in all of protagonism.
*I WILL NOT BE DENIED*
3:50 when your mom watches anime for the first time and then you a broke her favorite anime disc
sooo good! you need more attention for this!
You're absolutely right! Though you people are the ones who can decide if attention does meet my face! Spread me around to the people you think may enjoy my content :)
Kirby Super Star/Super Star Ultra is possibly my favorite Kirby game of all time.
I mean Dedede didn't explain why he destroyed the Star Rod
And in Squeak Squad, it's kinda normal for him to assume Dedede since he stole the food once
Also can we mention he no longer does impulsive things anymore?
Revenge of the king spawned the best kirby theme in the series
You skipped Dream Land 2 and 3, which introduces the being known as Dark Matter. It is what appears as the true final boss of Kirby 64.
I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter much in your story, but King Deedeedee has been posessed many times through the series.
Just something I wanted to say.
This is how I see it.
Super Star Ultra was their final dispute.
Now they are on good terms with each other.
Doing game theories work but way better. It would be nice if he didn't only focus on fnaf timelines.
Portal 2 reference on a kirby video...
*NOICE*
0:36 shut up, Kirby, bad... ball?
*_HE'S ONE TOUGH CREAM PUFF_*
He’s just a pure ball of snacking hunger and positive dark-matter
Technically the Dreamland trilogy and Crystal Shards are related directly.
DL2 is a sequel to Dreamland/Spring Breeze and introduced Dark Matter, DL3 introduced 0 the source of Dark Matter, and Crystal Shards has 02 which is basically 0-Soul and we can tell due to the bandage on its top which would be wbere it ripped its own eye out to continue the fight against Kirby in the previous game, plus 0*2* so... yeah.
I began to tear up near the end. This is the purest story.
wow kirby is stubborn
0:45
WAIT.
TITANFALL ON 3DS?
*YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
“Everyone and their mothers” Has iconic image from the mother series. Perfect
This was really well made, good job! You can see how much work was put into this.
Kirby has a pure heart and a sheer desire to help others, that's why he saves the world
That endingI love how Kirby and Dedede finally settle a decades of a grudge just to come together and save what they both so care about equally.
That was beautiful, dude.
I never caught on to the character arcs of these two.
i would argue that i think is in Kirby: battle royale when you have another duel with King Dedede, it's stated that is ''Dedede's last shot for revenge''
this video is so sweet
Amazing video! Perfect ease into the seriousness from the silliness, in the beginning, there was snap edits, cracking jokes, etc. But near the end, it got serious, and the transition from silly to serious was almost nonexistent! The style of the video was very respectable and the whole thing felt very held together and merged. Silly and serious in one. Good job!
I didn’t know I needed this Kirby development in my life but I really did
Yes I was expecting this to be another theory about how Kirby is a maniac tyrant eating everything in sight or something like that but I loved it and it actually made sense
But Dark Matter, nightmare, and dark nebula have been confirmed to be of the same essence.
Kirby is purest boy who also has best and deepest lore
I think Kirby has serious depression, but he’s never shown it. I can explain why.
The timeline is mostly just in order of each games release, Kirby fights so save worlds, people, dreams and food.
also king Dedede is only evil once the other times it’s a misunderstanding or demonic possession.
1:05 he wants to take a nap. Thats his motivation.
Cant take a nap with eldritch abominations mucking about so Kirby gotta take care of that.
Who needs a universe with your brothers and sisters
When you have C A K E
Wow, three times I jumped to conclusions? Well, good thing I'm not jumping to conclusions much anymore.
With all of your comments, I have no idea if you enjoyed or hated this video so... thanks for watching?
The video was ok. But still, it wasn't the crystal possessing the characters in The Crystal Shards. The Waddle Dee was possessed by Dark Matter, along with Adeleine and King Dedede. Not the crystal shards. Replay the game and notice Dark Matter go inside Waddle Dee to turn him into a Waddle Doo.
While a mistake, that shouldn't change any of my main points when it comes to the main topic of my video... but sure, I'll be more careful in the future
+Kirby Damn, you are one of those guys...
Just damn, watch the entire fucking video man.
Hey Kirby, remember when u got kissed by Ribbon in Kirby 64? Do you?
4:26 well in kirby's defense, he had no idea that the star rod would summon nightmare
Kirby's story with Dedede actually explains why he was so willing to forgive Susie in Planet Robobot... Awesome!
Then in Star Allies Dedede starts pulling a Dreamland and Kirby goes on another rampage to King Dedede, whilst destroying everything in his path. After beating Dedede, a dark heart emerges, and Kirby being Kirby, completely ignores Dedede and goes on yet another rampage, tracking the hearts down to deep space, and destroying every last bit of anything related to the thing that interrupted his nap.
that was WAY better than expected, man that was touching.
This is a bit... how should i say... misunderstood? I mean its only that way because you havent played the other games, but dont get mad, theres just a few things i wanna point out that you missed from the games you mentioned in the video:
-Meta knight is not evil, but nor is he good.
In fact, kirby games make it clear that an unknown dark antagonist is dark matter reborn if they have the following:
- one single red eye
- the color black or purple.
"everyone and their mothers" Lucas pops up
so sad play moms hometown
We skipped over a few games but there probably isn't too much to talk about with them
Dedede helps because he always realizes he can't be Monarch of Dream World if there IS NO Dream World. He's very much like Bowser in that aspect that he doesn't want to destroy the world or anything but rule it instead. That means occasionally having to help his rival, Kirby, instead of hindering him.
I have been a Kirby fan for who knows how long for awhile
Hatred? He's just royally pissed everyone ruins his meals and naps
11:16 and now Kirby befriends every enemy the marshmallow has ever fought!
