@StereoMoJo- A few years back, someone i knew, had a friend who claimed to have this Monster 5500 watt amp, @ least that was what the amp said! We asked to have this dude show up, so our car audio competition team could verify the said amps actual power. The amp in Question was a Power Acoustik BAMF 5500. It did only 1,100 watts= a 5th of its rated power, from then on, i called these amps Poop Stick😁😆😂 I don't care that they don't make much power, i just wish these companies had to tell the truth= ALL have the same power testing requirements, to meet, @ each specific ohm loads, for true apples to apples comparisons. I think the only way, would be to make each company/line/model to send 1 randomly picked amp, from them to a 3rd party, that then would certify/verify the actual R.M.S. Power @ each ohm Load that amp is rated/warrantied to handle. Like youtubers, such as yourself. With you getting paid by these companies, & getting exclusive rights to show these dyno runs to the public 1st.
@@JasonWW2000 @JasonWW2000- You should know from our many interactions that i am not the average person, when it pertains to car audio. I am talking about ratings every company has to follow, so beginners, & people who are less knowledgeable about car audio, can understand, so they don't get fooled/scammed. The ratings that CAN be used, are not ALWAYS used. I would like to see Actual Mandated, Regulated, Power Testing, that must be done, before ANY company is Allowed to print/post power ratings, of any kind! If they dont pay/get this testing done, then make it so ANY company that prints/post ANY power ratings to be fined! Only allow them, if not tested, to tell the fuse rating, but no mention of power.
100% right!! It would be nice if they all had to tell the truth. Then again, if ALL companies AND politicians had to tell the truth then this country would probably quickly implode!!
Such a big chassis for such little output. Compare that to their Razr amps that are tiny yet can do 600-800 watts or more. I bet this amp is half empty inside. Lol
I love how everything is all on one side as well! That would've been very helpful in my little setup! Never had one before. Great vid bud. 👍🏻
@@chrisnunya7171 yes, I’m a fan of that as well!
Looks like the old school fosgates amps
I enjoyed the dyno run. Shout out to Damon

Just look for the CEA rating. That's the current standard. If it doesn't show a CEA rating, then they are probably hiding something.
@@evilinside5984 lol, that’s funny, and good input! I’d like to try the 5500 and 8k versions of this one.

I would like to see a boss onyx 5500w monoblock class D on dyno.
Has anyone ever tested the BAMF 8000? I’m trying to find a number on that and the BAMF 5500. I have a 8000 new in box I never used.
The 8000 is class D, has 200A of fusing and dual 4ga inputs. So probably no more than 2000 watts. I don't see any tests on them.
The BAMF 10,000 did around 2500 or 2700 iirc. It was a different looking chassis, though.
@@JasonWW2000 it would be fun to test those!
I have plenty of amps for you to dyno. Where do I send them?
@ shoot me an email to stereomojo@yahoo.com so we can discuss, and I’d rather give you my address through email as well
Hey brother I have amps that need to be dynoed for car audio purposes 😂
I have a gang of old school amps I have some posted on my channel

@@JasonWW2000 yes, I agree. Those razor amps are pretty decent!
Meh put some 30 amp fuses and see what happens 😂
It didn't blow the 20A it has. So nothing should happen.
Straight clickbait 😂
What do you mean? The video?
@ ya the face over of the video is misleading af lol
