- Research Project Bernini is experimental generative AI from Autodesk that can quickly generate multiple functional 3D shapes from a variety of inputs. While Project Bernini is exciting and at the leading edge of generative AI, its models will become increasingly useful and compelling when trained on larger, higher-quality professional datasets. Can we get AI retopology or UV mapping instead? Thanks
This guy gets it ☝️
no that's too difficult, you can have a spoon.
Why not both?
AMEN~
Fantastic comment.
out of touch company
Another Bullshit Hype Sell
You know what your customers do for a living, right?
😂😂😂😂😂 they're crazy
They will expand their customer base 1000% if their products are accessible to anyone rather than just skilled designers.
we losing our jobs with this one 🗣🗣 🔥🔥🔥🙏
Not very impressed - auto UV would be cool/futuristic - but this tech should get better in time making high poly content that maps onto low poly meshes for max scene complexity
You can't stop progress
L
Lovely
Wow 😮 nice 👍🏿
Male it freely available to all since you are using artist to create it. I'm fine with a daily limit of 50 models for free. Otherwise you're no different than mid journey or Dalle.
run with it, this will revolutionize art.
Recap. Give us good point cloud tools!
Very interesting ^_^
You can’t wait to replace us fast enough? When all of us creatives will be replace who will buy your over priced buggy programs?
If anything they are trying to save you. Sometimes I wonder how oblivious people can be.. there are AI models that can do animation for probably a year now and are not made available publicly because of the social-economic impact. If they wanted you would be replaced today. They're desperately trying to create some sort of mixture where you are using the AI for your workflow and are not directly replaced. And by the way everyone being replaced means some sort of universal income. So there is something to think about Even there... Things to think about.. think about before making a comment for example.
@@raspas99 You are so clueless, in case you've been living under a rock for the past 2 years, thousands of people have been fired due to AI ranging from concept artists, UI/UX artists, ilustrators, teacher, translators, managers, even programmers and the list goes on, all bc of AI using all of our stolen data! AI is also being used to scam, incriminate, blackmail stealing peoples identities including that of kids to use for nefarious reasons! We don't need saving you buffon, we learned a profession we don't need AI to do the creative work for us or any other work for that matter! UBI is a sham, there is no free money, someone will have to pay for it and only lazy bums will want that while the rest of us don't we learned a profession to become independent! If there are AI models that can animate everything completely well then there goes another job taken away (animators). I wonder if you even realize what's going on or are you too dependent of AI to think for you? Everyone becomes expendable thanks to this garbage tech. Read some articles, managers were using AI and it did their entire work for them, when their bosses found out they were fired and then they were worried about being replace! This will not stop until the AI laws get enforced! Stop relying on ChatGPT to do the thinking for you and go to school and learn a profession, we dont need saving, we became artists to actually to the work to improve no to become dependent like a drug addict on this garbage tech!
Creativity is a gift (nothing can replace that). They are simple giving you even more time to be creative.
@@raspas99 I don't think you understand the way Ai companies are selling their products you lobotomized customers.
@@raspas99 For someone who says we should think before making a comment .... you clearly skipped on the thinking part and went straight to marxism lol.
the fact that this video has 0 likes lmfao
booooo booooo booooooo
Finally Autodesk moving. not only blender
moving at the wrong direction
Embarassingly bad, just like everything else coming from Autodesk these days. Have all the developers in Autodesk been replaced with survey bots and managment? The fact that I still need to pay for 3ds max annoys me, with how little Autodesk bother to keep the softwares relevant. The money should go the 3rd party developers that actually keep your softwares alive.
😂... Others implement it better
What about improving your actual modeling tools? Maya modeling toolkit is literally the same since 2016. Laggy quad draw, sculpting options that cannot be taken seriously and zero improvement on uv’s. Yet you guys put resources on stuff none of real artists asked for. Great!
Seriously, the Maya Ideas forum has thousands of requests.
I remember reading an article a long time ago about the head of the development team leaving autodesk and scenes then Maya's updates are lacking.
that wouldn't satisfy their corpo overlords but shoving ai without any real world benefit will do to raise the stock prices.
This has been Autodesk for two decades now. Just adding new stuff nobody needs, never improving the core of their main packages. The only new things are always half baked (at best, most times they haven't even been in the oven yet) plugins that they bought from some random company.
Blender time
Keep adding AI to replace all the creative part then the only one that will use your overly prices CREATIVE programs will be AI!!!
Nothing is stopping you from spending months rotoscoping a 10 minute clip. You gonna yell at the AI automated rotoscoping too? More free time means more ability to be creative. You big whiny baby.
@@雪鷹魚英語培訓的領航 you seem to miss the whole point. people don't have problem with AI replacing tedious non artistic aspects.
So out of touch with the user base. Nobody asked for this.
How about using "ai" to do UVW-mapping, or retopopology/mesh cleaning? That is what we need. We can do the designs ourselves thankyouverymuch.
Embarrassing
The claim of the industry trust, felt very forced and strange in this context.
The video is for high corporate people that will be replacing slow expensive humans wilth Ai.
this was def a decision of someone who've never even touched maya.
Even better idea than ai - try generating multiple serial keys to accelerate every stage of the creative design process.
Wow a Vase!..
It's not first of April, then this must be for real?
Instead of wasting money and time on things are out of touch with current paying customers, why not fix some of the years-old issue with the existing tools?
You guys are just helping Blender at this point.
Blender sucks
@@ninefingers6306 Blender is the worst crap I ve ever had to deal with... Never again
Just when I learn how to design something. Guess I'll have to find something else.
THE SHITPOTTTTTTT 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
if the ai can build forms from shapes, it might be able to use the best modelling technique to do so. like select between cad and nurbs or convert, highly accurate retopologize etc. autodesk has experience with multiple modeling types.
Yes it will learn and improve on your customers work... Maybe as suggested in other comments put some love in your 3d application like maya and max? Each year new version with barely any additions /improvements, while blender updates are significant, I don't want to move to blender I want Maya to receive the development it deserves... 😕
Love it!!!!!!!
AI needs to be able to do engineering tasks someday, so it would be great if something like would work for parametric modeling in fusion 360 somehow!
my favorite part is when they import a million tri vase mesh and then cut to a completely different, manually retopped or even hand modeled vase anyways.
mesh quality is lacking
👎
How do we access this thing?
corporation greed has gotten a hold of autodesk, switching to blender.
They've been like this for a long time now ever since they removed the option for perpetual licence. Now, they constantly raise prices whenever they take up new projects to add to their library of apps when people only need a few programs at most.
wonder if its based on gaussian splatting
It probably isn't
3D is hard. The more automation the better so we can focus on making cool things.
this makes it even harder because instead of making cool things you'd be spending more time fixing bad things made by ai and get stuck in a prompt loop which no way is artistic
great tool
