This is so heart warming, kid wont forget that for a long time, a little goes a long way
Legend says the ball is still being given...
James Lee lmao
😂😂😂😂
truth says is just died from reading this comment
So they are man city of baseball
Wait, I just ended up with it..
Plot Twist: little boy throws it back on the field
no he didnt
siddharth gajare yes... he did
siddharth gajare Ermm i thought i was the only Indian who loves watching baseball..
LOL YOU HAD ME DYING
Zeke2g No, he gave it to Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire.
Helps us to realize that we are still surrounded by people who are willing to pass on the good deed.
The world needs more of this stuff.
The world HAS more of this stuff, you just don't hear about it. Stories like Ray Rice get the airtime.
This is what makes this world such a great place
That a moment to thanks those people to show us that this world still has hope :)
Greg Gibson motioned to both fans to give to each other
I'm more concerned about that third strike. What was he swinging at???
It was a drop ball, he was supposed to swing at it
It was about 300 yards out of the strike zone. What are you talking about?
That curveball was just too filthy coming at 81 MPH
dedpres124 It was like a half hearted swing. he started then was like "AWWW SHIT"
dedpres124 He was fooled with a really good curve ball. It's a pitch that's designed to look like a strike before it dips out of the strike zone at the last second.
One of the MANY reasons I love the game of baseball.
Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, motioning to both players....
And the dodgers celebrating in their dugout
Harry Prince And that's hit into the right field corner, Robinson, nice catch for out #1
John Noonan Well I am a real wizard
Harry Prince BOOM. I'm a REAL doctor.
John Noonan If you had your walk-up music created...
Its actually touching how such a little thing can have such a big impact.
heart warming! I just smiled when I was watching them giving
Give and Share! I do think the kid will learn it and share to more people
Well this might just be the best thing I've seen in many years watching baseball... How it is not almost August and I am just now seeing/hearing about this is beyond me.. I wish something like this got as much coverage as all the negative stories. But regardless, this was heartwarming.
Love seeing respect like this.
go marlins baby
groundpound69?
i wish the whole world was made up of little moments like this
That is awesome behavior from both. People do know what the best thing to do is and sometimes they actually do it.
That'd be funny if the kid chucked it back onto the field.
+Ben I thought that was what was coming next. Would of been ver funny.
I would have laughed my fucking ass off if the kid threw it back
This two minute video is what baseball is all about!
rducky01 balls?
Respect to all Marlin's fans you guys have class.
Most of the time, fans of different teams are at each others' throats, especially in soccer. I think this video shows what sports matches should be like all the time: a way for people to unwind, have fun and help each other doing that whenever they get the chance. Just wonderful! :)
that little boy learned what a good man is, 2 great examples.
"Here you go kid, you can hold it for 2 minutes"
johnny_schwifty.soundcloud lmao
Those are two very good kind men
This beats seeing adults fight for a ball so they can throw it on ebay later.
Obviously fake. The Marlins don't have fans.
Flench they do, just not in the state of florida.
lol oh man!
+Flench DAYUM
@Flench lmaoo
Flench i am fishy fans 4 ever ever dude... 305 till' i die
Rumor has those two men made love together that night. Both their families' lives were ruined as a result.
Brokeback Mountain style
ThisisAlan Oh god that is hilarious. I just had to explain to my wife why I was laughing so hard.
8080801(if you don't know what that means, then you are a normal person)
ThisisAlan hahahaha
tqsuited what, no lube.
To give is better than to receive!
They should put stories like this on the news once in a while.
One of my favorites. These kind of videos make me feel good
So do drugs. But just say no.
+drServitis I do plenty of drugs. Well, plenty of one drug
Muffin Muncher You are a cunning linguist!
+drServitis I've been known to ling a cunn
Muffin Muncher Not only are you a cunning linguist, but your TH-cam name says you're also a cunnilingus. Are you Irish, perhaps?
Faith in humanity restored for now
The reason you give a ball to a kid is because it means more to them, will bring more happiness. Not to just impress your girlfriend or whatever.
That balding guy threw a huge childlike tantrum but he totally redeemed himself.
You're stupid
***** you're an imbecile
He was acting up as he knew he would be on camera. Why else would he take his cap AND his shades off before becoming all drama queen? The kudos from people he knows telling him they see him on tv was worth ball than the ball.
hineighbor like Lloyd christmas?
Hi, Neighbor! ive wanted to catch a baseball at a game my whole life and still haven't. if this happened to me where it was in my hand but i dropped it i would of reacted the same way to an extent.
Update: a player gave me a call at a 2019 baseball game at pirates stadium
That was an awesome gesture of kindness.
A very valuable lesson for this child, who sees his Dad give the ball to the guy who so obviously wanted it...lesson 1. And then the guy who did so obviously want it gives it to the child...lesson 2. With a bit of luck this child will pass the same values on to his children.
gotta love the guy with the black cap.. good hearts are still there
Every baseball video ends with "Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire"
'this is the story that just keeps in giving' loooool what a phrase
This scene is So Touching.
I'm a Yankees fan and one time at the stadium I almost got the ball and this one guy did and I was so sad that I didn't get the ball so when i was a about to turn around the man gave me the ball he is and will always be remember.
feels good to be kind, this is awesome.
This is why I like baseball. Can you imagine that happening with a football or a basketball? Baseball plus fans equals rad.
Just one of many things sports does. God I love baseball.
涙が出てくる こんな素晴らしい世界でいてほしい お兄さんナイス!!!
The kid then gives it to a starving African child to eat
+Brett Wilson "this is the story that just keeps on giving"
This is terrible but to funny!
Fuckin' died.
and then greg gibson, motions to both players and all is good with the world :')
But Greg Gibson doesn't care about starving African kids!
One of the reason why i love this gama
Got to love the game.
Nice to see. Well done guys.
Wow, I think this might be the best video I have ever seen on youtube.
Those were some nice uniforms on the cubs.
Sure is nice to see something positive on TH-cam for a change.
What a nice young man
An awesome gesture and kindness. Finished up with an UGLY swing at the end
that kid is SO HAPPY omg XD what a great video
Can't wait for season 2.
What goes around, comes around.
Hope people in the world can treat each other like this from this example!! : )))
Awwwwww! That's nice..a real sports fan.
Legend says that Greg is still motioning...
I like this guy in the button down shirt. He gets that the foul ball is about the catch, not keeping it. Good on you, sir!
small kindnesses are so easy to do yet too seldom thought of doing.
Being raised in "The Friendly Confines" since 1974 this is what makes Chicago Fans the BEST!!!
Am I the only one who keeps watching videos just to hear "Greg Gibson the home plate umpire" lol
Nice to see Ichiro giving back
The legend says the kid gave it to Greg Gibson who split it into two pieces before giving them to both players. That had the Dodgers celebrating in their dugout.
wise one
Just like King Solomon in the Bible.
Massive Respect!! :D
See this is the kind of people America needs
This shows People from Miami are chill & mature People from Chicago are spoiled & bratty.
He didn't want the ball he simply wanted the catch. That was his chance, that was his moment
That's good stuff. Wish the other major sports had fans who could behave this way...
that was so nice!
Damn nobody wants the ball. That team must really suck.
What goes around, comes around!!!
Faith in humanity restored.
Hi ! You guys make the world very much wonderful
That was sweet. :) More of what our society needs.
Nice people do still live here. Hope lives.
And the Yankees can't understand southern hospitality. It's contagious.
これ好き
“How far that little candle throws his beams! So shines a good deed in a weary world.”
That's why baseball is an American pass time. Bring the best out in all of us.
Karma. Give and you will receive. That's what I tell the girlfriend anyway
That strikeout, though. Jesus, Ozuna, you weren't even remotely close to the ball.
The player who threw the ball back to the crowd deserves the most credit :D
See, beautiful shit like this happens only in Baseball.
***** Yea like when pedro martinez beat up don zimmer
***** Yeah. I was watching a Twins (because it's where I live) game on FSN a few years back when they were at Fenway that week. So what happened was Trevor Plouffe hit a home run and of course it goes to the Green Monster. This older couple, fans of the Red Sox, then hand it to this younger family who were fans of the Twins. I was so happy for the rest of the day.
Tony Mckinnon Don zimmer was running at him and then fell over. Pedro martinez tried to stop him from falling but, was too late. Not sure how from that you got 'pedro beat up don zimmer'
+Adam Dirks well qb cam newton gives away all the td balls to young kids in the stands
eh i dont like the panthers any ways
That was awesome.
Awesome baseball fans ~ this is what baseball is all about.
希望世界上的人們可以從這例子來學習互相,讓世界更美好!!
What a fan
Fucking awesome ! Good job guys, both of you !!
two good men
everything is full circle.
Greg Gibson, the home plate umpire, motioning to both fans.
That was sweet.
If he wasn't wearing jeans with flip flops he wouldn't have dropped it in the first place.
i cant stop listening the announcers response when asked "you think the kid will give it to his sister?" no lol
It woulda been MORE awesome is the little boy gave the ball back to Nate Scheirholtz. Lol
Great job
