Have to give Yasha credit. Going into that battle knowing it was his end allowed him to use his mantra affinity to its limit even with no reactor, just like Asura had been doing before. Melancholy indeed.

This is literally the greatest use of a quicktime event I’ve ever seen. 15:03 it’s simply beautiful and it makes the player feel like they’re right there in the story.
QTEs are great when done right (good communication, enough time to press, no insta death when failing... looking at you RE6). Most people who whine about them suck at pressing the right button anyway.
As well as testing to see if Asura was ready, Yasha wanted one last battle with him. He knew he was gonna die and that this would be it. That's why I believe he was smiling at the end. He knew Asura was ready and he had his last battle. You were always a brother. Never an enemy.

Truly hated seeing Yasha die. Despite the things he allowed to happen, he had a good character arc and served as the ultimate bro in this battle to save the world. Seeing him go like this, all to ensure Asura had the power he needed to kill God is heartbreaking. Truly fitting for a God of Melancholy

Azura's wrath is a very philosophical story about anger and how to control your own wrath so it doesn't control you and that you need to channel it into a konstructive way, so you don't become "a fool that does only know how to break things".
Man, gotta say, it made for an awesome fight, but my god offing Yasha just feels wrong Would have been nice to see that 1v2 combo against literal god through to the end
