Sikh dont worship any statue or a lord. In sikhism god dont have any body. God is an energy or power that created universe. In punjabi,god is known as waheguru. In sikh gurudwaras, guru granth sahib,a holy book of sikhs ( in which 15 great men from all over the world especially from india had written the way to meet that power,waheguru and 6 sikh gurus also wrote their teachings in this) is worshipped. The founder of sikh relegion was guru nanak dev ji. He came in this world to unite the whole world and teach the world about the real way to find god. Not by fake rituals but by knowledge of mind and implementation of that knowledge in this world. Guru nanak dev ji was first to oppose the cruel acts of babar(mughal empror)
Believe me,sikh relegion's philosophy is so practicle in this world as there is no place for magics or any false rules in sikhism.
Also,sikhism is the one of the newest relegion and it is believed by the scientists that the sikh philosophy matches with the science unlike other relegions(i m not praising my relegion,just giving u the knowledge about sikhism)
