You get a thumbs up just for the welcome back Kotter theme. I grew up in Germany during the 80’s while my father guarded the Berlin wall. Whenever he was off duty we would watch this movie and Silver Bullet all the time. Both the movie and this song have a special place for me.
For a long time, I thought this was a Hall & Oates track. Sounds so much like them. But I do recall seeing the video on MTV, way back in the mid-80s. Btw, that film was my introduction to the great Willem Defoe, before he became a huge star for his roles in "Platoon" and "The Last Temptation of Christ." Thanks for reviewing this.
Thank you for doing this. There is so much great music that we remember and that others have never heard before. Continue sharing the music! This was a great song, a mediocre movie (unfortunately), and an overall great soundtrack! Check out Tonight Is What It Means to Be Young off of the soundtrack!
Dan Hartman was 'The Man'. 🙏🏽 He will always be a staple in music history. I still love this song. Cheers!
More people should be reacting to his songs ! shame !
@@steelekeepinitreel4909 I agree.
