It was an interesting song. I was vibing to it. Then, the lyrics took a turn, and it got a little dark. I wasn't expecting that. It's almost like feeling good about going shopping and then realizing you don't have any money in your account. (sigh) On a lighter note though, shout out to JETT, the dude in the gym that looks like you, and T.D. Jakes. 😊

If you want to wax on about Timothy B. Schmidt, do it on a video that he's featured prominently on. The Eagles 'I Can't Tell You Why', where he sings lead, for example. But what you do here is a disservice to the great Rusty Young (RIP) who wrote this tune & sang lead on it & was a fantastic singer, songwriter & guitarist.

Yeah, I always loved this song, and the movie The Breakfast Club. I must admit that the 80s for me were a pretty fun time. There were some adverse moments here and there when it came to certain members of my family, but overall there were some great highlights. Peace

I was 25 when the movie & song came out, but I loved it even though it was about teenagers. It is just a well-made movie (acting & writing) and great songs (I was born at the end of '59, and I love all kinds of '60s, '70s, & '80s music)!
