- Passages are a sort of achievement system in Rain World where you can work towards various goals throughout your playthrough and upon completion, allow you to fast travel. My goal in this stream was to obtain every passage in a single run of the game. What I didn't expect is a little friend to make the whole journey a little more interesting.

inky reminds me of my first slugpup, cubey! he was a mint colored slugpup who was an unstoppable force of nature. he killed multiple drop wigs, multiple adolescent centipedes, an adult centipede, and attempted to kill many many many lizards. his gutsiest move was trying to kill a king vulture. i had to carry him most of the time bc if i didn't he would locate the nearest spear and bee-line for any lizard and attempt to kill it

Inky is a goddamn gigachad. He does not know fear, he wore a vulture mask, he helped Skurry get food, and he saved Skurry from a lizard. Best slugpup ever

Got them all on both Survivor and Hunter pre-downpour, might do it again with the new achievements after I've exhausted Expedition mode

*(requires you to get every pearl you can to moon as well as almost every pearl to Pebbles as artificer who has limited passages because of their karma as well as a few of them to moon as spearmaster who has to bring them all the way through moon without a stomach as well as every single spearmaster broadcast as well as a random pearl from farm arrays to moon as Saint as well as the two metropolis pearls to moon which can only be achieved by starting randomly in metropolis as some slugcats who also have a really hard time getting around metropolis with no double jump and once you get out you have to not reach zero karma or you restart)*
I love how Skurry was against the idea of having the child from the start but then did it anyways. They have a soft spot for Inky lol

The slugpup was really a highlight. It was honestly better than the dedicated slugpup video that they did, because that was out of totally optional love.

But, I sure as hell love watching Skurry do all of it. When he plays Rain World, I just kinda end up mesmerized and chilled out.

I did most of my passages on Monk, and for some reason my Monk was breaking reality and completely broken, probably as a result of my mods but I don’t know why it only affected him:
Shelter failure happened every other cycle, despite a mod having it around 5-10%
Certain shelters would do the closing animation but wouldn’t sleep and softlock me (probably a result of OSHA compliant shelters)
Once I finished Monk, it said I had completed it in 3800+ cycles despite only taking 20 or so, thus Monk got a ridiculously high score for only killing 1 pole plant
I don’t know what happened to my Monk but I will keep him in his cage so he doesn’t cause the total destruction of the universe

I love the pole plant scream edits.
I had one in progress as survivor before the downpour dlc update, but the dlc wiped my saves and i started all over again but i dropped the all passages run idea, was fun to see a few new areas as survivor, also best spot to get lizards tamed in outskirts is definitely the tutorial den, other's are strangely just out of reach for every lizard in outskirts.
I once managed to get a caramel leezor into the shelter near drainage, but that was after I stacked a load of bodies infront of the entrance and I never replicated it again lmao

Something like this takes me back to when I first got this game, thinking it'd be similar to a game like Ori and the Blind Forest... I was wrong, but quickly grew to accept and love this game for what it is, a challenging platformer with satisfying goals to complete.

Pathetic. You got all the passages? Who hasn't? Anyone who has spent a bare minimum of 300 hours on this game has achieved something like this. If you were a true Rain World enjoyer you'd have all passages, have killed at least 10 red lizards and red centipedes, commited war crimes and genocide against the scavenger race, sacrificed 3 children to some random lizard in the hopes of appeasing the rain god and fully mapped out all the regions across every campaign.
I like when you play rainworld I’m not so good at it so I like watching others play it keep up the good work
I did this challenge. I ended up having 3 slugpups. I will never recover.
You can actually have 3? Every run I had maxed out on 2, then pups stopped spawning
But then, having 3 would be painful, I barely got 2 to Outer Expanse, congratulations!

*This can't really be done until Windette finishes the series.

Some other random stuff (I know skur wouldn't see this it's just for anyone else who finds this):
Teamwork: Using the Pale Court mod, beat Uumuu, beat traitor Lord with cloth, and beat Tiso in godhome
An adaption to atomic glutton: throw a singularity bomb at Pebbles as fast as possible as Gourmand or as Inv (two different challenges, one way harder than the other)
The impossible froot: eat the three blue fruit in the room HI_D01
(the long bridge room in industrial that leads to shaded, its interesting because you need to bring a grapple worm to eat the froot)
Have you played or seen ghost song yet? I'd love to see you play through it and get the hidden areas and see your builds and shit

I've done max passages as Saint, and it's an even tougher challenge because of Hunter and Dragon Slayer. Apparently I did Dragon Slayer the hard way though because I used rocks to knock (mostly tamed) lizards into death pits. And I used repeated starvation with a dead hazer squid to get Hunter.
The main ones which are strangely impossible are Scholar and Mother.
The mother is impossible because for some reason pups break saves on saint
Scholar is probably impossible because there are only 2 really coloured pearls as Saint (the music pearl and a random one in farm arrays), all the other ones are discoloured and although they retain a tiny bit of colour and show their original colour on the map they don't get the moon dialogue. I don't understand how you used a dead hazer to get hunter though?
@@Sepi-chu_loves_moths If you eat a dead hazer it counts as eating meat for hunter as long as you don't eat anything else that cycle. Then you starve (this requires having atleast 1 pip in the bank from the previous cycle). Then after waking up, you quit to the main menu before 30s passes. Even with Vanilla exploits off, this keeps your progress on hunter, saint, outlaw, and monk. Now, you are back in the shelter with a dead hazer and atleast 1 food pip so you can repeat the process from the beginning each time gaining a little more progress towards hunter.
You can do the same thing with spearmaster and neurons to get monk (although there are other more legitimate ways of doing that).
With vanilla exploits on, this also allows you to farm karma, and gain progress on more passages like martyr or survivor.
I'm trying to do all the achievements at the mo, finally got Champion yesterday!

I was on this challenge but on extreme mode. I reseted my game and was aiming to get every passage on ALL campaings...I dropped the challenge on Saint...It's trash to get the aggressive passages with Saint, you need to use very especific tatics to fight predators and eat meat
