Who wants one of these?? Please share this on social media and with your friends to help us spread the word!! I appreciate you guys!!
That's awesome, Rob!! Super happy for you! I'll help if I can. Also! I would like a full sized inflatable yak!
your discount link is broken
Rob would a hobie 180 pedal drive fit into the air 9?
Looks awesome! Great deal. Inflatables are gonna become more and more popular when people see what they can do and how durable they are.
I was ready to invest but found nothing about any kind of warranty. Looks like a taller chair would be more comfortable as well.
Looks great buddy! Shared on my FB story.
That looks exactly what I'm looking for. I want to get rid of the big solid kayak I have and get something like this. I don't get to fish very much anymore, but this would work.
That looks good Robert. Will you guys be offering one without the pedal drive so one can fit a Hobie drive and also maybe a different color scheme, camo or grey and orange.
Does the regular hobie pedal drive fit in the well of the air 9?
Second this question I'd like to put a 180 pedal drive into it
I like it I’m just worried about oyster no matter how careful you are you will hit the razor sharp oyster, how will it fare against oyster ?
This is a smart idea for a multi type trips. If fishing isn’t your number one priority has a lot of options it looks like. Overlanding to multi spots needing a small package do it all option seems like it could work for fly fishing great 👍.
Not in my neck of the woods. I’d pop it on the oysters. I’m definitely interested in the nomad . If I get in the market for a new one it’s definitely going to be the first one I check out.
Can I use my 180 mirage drive in your Lightning Kayaks?
How cautious do you think one would need to be with fishing hooks and spiny fish? Is the material durable to withstand an accidental poke here or there?
Does it come with a paddle? Cup holder?
Where can they be demo? If I pre order can I return it if I don't like it?
I would consider getting one but I don't want to wait for summer to be half way over before they even send it.
how will it stand up against a big, sharp hook?
Are you going to have a bait tank available for it come in handy for greenbacks offshore
Plenty of bait tank options out there already, both store-bought and DIY guides online.
Dangit! Now I'm going to need one of these! Can you get it without the peddle drive since I already have one?
Sure! Email info@lightningkayaks.com and they will work it out with you.
Where’s the truck coming from in the ocean? So how does it really handle a 6/0 treble hook on a diamond jig? How does it handle rock cod spines ?
So there any kind of warranty?
I would have to use it to see how reliable it is. You have your GF modeling it. That’s ok saving money. But I want anchor and Fishfinders. I don’t do saltwater. I inland fish lakes and ponds. Great video, Thanks for sharing this model. It looks promising for some.
Greetings from Atlanta Georgia.. Can this go on reverse? Thanks
I live in Europe, what a bummer no shipping outside US
To the reader of this comment that’s in the market for an inflatable SUP, I can tell you this… if it’s Lighting it’s solid.
I’ve owned my Lightning kayak for years and go out weekly in saltwater… ZERO problems.
Keep the good work up and those prices low Lightning.
Great idea Robert!
only if it had support for putting a small e motor
You could rig that up. The Bixpy motor will go where the drive goes... this thing would FLY with that motor in it.
Cool. Lend to Fisk, might catch another 500lb Marlin😂
How easy is it to puncture with a hook?
I would say that's impossible.
Impossible? Have any videos of you using it. I'd like to see how it holds up to an all day sesh.
Can you go in reverse with this drive?
No
Id really recommend trying to get someone who spearfishs to push it a little. Been fishing and spear fishing off a sup for 10/15 years, had a 52lb bass off one last year, much nicer than a kayak imo.
its my razor sharp large circle hooks and treble hooks : oh and oyster beds that worry me about inflatables
Your hooks would not be a problem. Oysters... maybe if you're not careful.
😂 Non sense. Fishing hook is not a problem. Fish Fin is your nightmare
Does lightning kayak have any original ideas?
Nah, we just take good ideas and offer them for half the price or less. That's our whole model. These other companies are raking you over the coals brother.
@@YakFishFieldI don’t pay retail brother
$999 is still unobtainable for most folks. I got myself a packraft for $267 with a skeg and that thing is built for fisherman. I also have a paddleboard, a kayak, a jon boat so there is absolutely no need for this. Rather just add a packraft R/C powered trolling motor that can be put on a paddleboard and put on my packraft. Peddle drives are too much $$$ especially when you can get a trolling motor for much less.
Looks a lot slower per every leg stroke than the hobie itrek's.
😊 A cheap copy of Hobie i trek 9. Good job Good effort
If if we're 11ft maybe, 9ft too small
For that amount just get a hobie.
Ill be honest the rudder doesnt look very sturdy
It looks awesome $1600 ? Yikes
Would never trust any inflatable with just one air chamber.
40% off, what if I want a whole one?
*Ba*dum*tiss*
Haaaaaaaaa nice.
Is that 40% off of $1700? If not, the only price you'd be beating is Hobies overpriced inflatable kayaks. Most other comparable inflatable kayaks are actually less expensive than what you claimed to be your deeply discounted model of inflatable kayak.
That's actually a very reasonable price at $1000
