The Tournament of Power was the ultimate spectacle we could have ever hoped for as a Dragon Ball scenario. Non-stop fighting with the most accomplished martial artists of the multiverse! But.. What if instead we tagged-in a bunch of weirdos who probably wouldn’t be anyone in the real world’s first choice in defending the universe, but still have some really cool powers.. Today.. We got a shark to jump.

Babidi shouldn't try to possess Hit. Strength aside, Hit is a very focused person who's good at controlling his emotions and mental state.

Babidi can easily just slip Kale into Berserker Mode and get her eliminated pre-Ginyu Swap. ANYTHING negative packs an emotional hit to Kale (especially if it involves Caulifla), and once in Berserk with no Goku to focus on, she'd go haywire and would likely injure her own team in the chaos.
Not to mention Universe 7 would take advantage of 6's attempts to calm Kale down and knock as many Saiyans out of the ring as they can (almost every member on that team got beaten by a Saiyan).
On the other hand, Babadi can still mess with Kale's own lack of self esteem and possess or pressure her to jump. Power of friendship or not, a single distraction while being separated from Caulifla is all it would take.

I don't think she could take characters like Jiren or Toppo because they're at a level beyond GoD, which Arale's gag stuff couldn't defeat. Other than that, probably
@Great-darkness She wasn't getting mopped, she was pretty even with goku, until she declared she was just having fun and she would do it again... 1000x times stronger for now, which visibly panicked goku. They only beat her by distracting her with poop or something lol, go watch the episode again...

The problem with Janemba actually being one of the only compotent fighters on this team, is that he's completely hellbent and savage
He'd end up killing someone either by accident or on purpose and I doubt he'd understand or even care about the rules of the tournament
He can warp reality, that would make him win easily, but, would that be allowed? does anybody even have protection agains't that? maybe the grand priest, but, that's not even a guarantee.
He's not dumb. He knows fear and will behave.

It would most definitely be allowed - the issue is, would that be a satisfying tournament, or would Zeno just blast everyone for making it boring.

@@banjo9158 They are outside of normal understanding of the world, tbh. We are talking about being that can snap reality as a whole out of existence with just it's fingers, but also a being that is not really paying attention to anything or anyone, unless they find something somehow entertaining.
I don't see how or why they would need a protection - they are outside the arena. That's already the protection.
As for Babidi possessing multiple people (or more generally powering up characters and their abilities in ways we technically haven't seen in canon) - surprising the audience with crap like that has literally always been a fundamental part of Dragon Ball. Toriyama _loves_ to do stuff like that. It's totally fair for you to do so too.
But... we already know Babidi can possess multiple people. At some point he possessed Yamu, Spopovich, Dabura, Pui Pui, Yakon, *and* an entire army of mooks all at once.
Another plan:
- Babidi possesses Ginyu, who's already the most loyal out of the team
- Ginyu swaps consciousness with Janemba, getting access to his abilities
- Babidi secretely collects the energy of all the fighters in the ring as they fight, including Jiren when he powers up to eliminate Hit or Arale, like how he did when trying to awaken Boo
- Ginyu-Janemba absorbs all that energy without dying, since he's made of pure negative energy
- Ginyu-Janemba wins and is declared the MVP despite Babidi doing all the work since he was the one who eliminated everyone
- Ginyu-Janemba breaks Babidi's mind control to make his true wish; bring back all the universes... So Lord Frieza can conquer them
Bringing back all universes for frieza to go and conquer them are two different wishes.

I can only imagine how long that wheel took to set up. As someone who had put over 2,000-3,000+ for a simulation type game before, it takes a long time to get them in if you didn't have a list already in place to copy and paste into the wheel.

But oh my god how I wish it was the case. Though I am worried, the extreme amount of money they put towards making the game graphics look as good as they do almost surely means there was no money left to make the rest of the game as good as it should have been. But well, still hoping

I'm laughing my ass off at the idea of Arale accidentally revealing that the only one who can defeat her is her writer, and then the individual she's fighting just tries to get her to say something she'll be censored for and before she can say it she disappears.
I really appreciate that he went out of his way to make it look like they were actually saying these things or doing these things in the Manga that is some good editing xD

Definitely hope you do more fun what if scenarios like this in the future!
That 10th fighter picking method was brilliant made me smile and great creative work dude nicely done.
Only problem with Janemba is
While he's clever in the movie
He also is pure evil and isn't gonna listen to anybody, and if he kills someone just like devilman did then that might be bad for U7 , he might teleport people out of the arena but he is more likely to try and kill them in the process , also he can regenerate so let's keep that in mind aswell

I really like the change of pace, I absolutely love all other fan mangas but a bit of fooling around is fun aswell from time to time. Just a nice change of scenery if you will
Damn. I like creative process man. That's a good narrative philosophy you talked about at the end. My favorite What Ifs are the ones that people are able to put down on paper, like the mangas you read. Audio/visual based ones like this or the ones Smugstick or Masako X do can be pretty hit or miss for me.

My boy ginyu is mad slept on. Him and his team was so well put together and their only downside was ego and getting just flat out over powered.
And the speed of his ability. Ginyu and Goldo were indeed busted but they were quite weak and Ginyu had a long startup animation.
If I was in DBZ, ain't no way I'm getting caught in a 20 frame startup move.
I watched this until the end, and I don't think you stopped doing fanfiction and what-ifs, you just have plenty of fanfictions to narrate and let's not mention the greatest what-if crossover of (Dragon Ball Multiverse)... that's like every what if scenario ever written came to compete in a tournament of power, what's more left to write? lol
Okay but the devilmite beam would... Only be useful once, since it would literally kill the opponent except maybe that blue majin that survived Jiren's attack and maybe Jiren himself.

I love your zany what if for this group! We’re here for your epic takes and not trying to determine what would actually happen. This is a show with wish dragons and talking animals and those are the ordinary parts of the world. 😅
The top of super op powers put on useless characters.

Devilmite beam (instantly kills anyone evil)
Hits powers but better
A gag character
The power to summon a nigh invisible body guard.
Shape shifting
Buu delux edition
Able to turn anyone who has a bad thought into an ally.
And the ability to turn anyone he touches into food
This is my take before the video btw
Physical strength doesn't matter for fighting off Babidi's control. Only your willpower and mental discipline do. Vegeta supplements it with his indomitable pride in order to throw off Babidi's control, but yeah, it doesn't really matter how strong you are, only whether or not you have the mental strength to throw it off.
Babidi would almost assuredly gain control of a lot of fighters here, with probably his biggest prize being Toppo (and most likely there'd be an entire like, 6 episode mini arc of Majin Toppo fighting his friends, go full Majin GoD Toppo, until they successfully bring him back to his senses by reminding him about Justice or some shit, possibly after he eliminates everyone but Dyspo and Jiren from his own universe).
Can you imagine Jiren trying to give Toppo a pep talk to bring him back to his senses? Just. Perfect!
I can't imagine Jiren giving Toppo a pep talk because Jiren actively scorns his teammates for losing. He'd probably just mock him and try to ring him out before the thought of talking him out of it with passion crosses his mind.

Basically Babidi CAN teleport people to other locations with his magic.
In theory if he isnt attacked first he'll just Johnny Johnny yes Pa ParaPaPA far away from the wing where they'll fall off and be disqualified with the exception of fighters that can fly naturally withouth the use of ki.
The tournament arena has an invisible barrier around it that automatically transports those sent from the ring to the stadium seats, Arale would not have flown off after a certain distance, and even in the unlikely event she could, they are in the infinite void, flying all the way around the universe isn't possible in an infinite expansion, even for a gag character, unless she just magically teleports or bends reality or something, js
Arales whole deal is that a series rules don't apply to her, cuz gag character.
And there isn't anything official saying the realm the ToP takes place in is infinite. As that's actually a mistranslation, instead it's an "eternal" void rather than an "infinite" one (as in it's really, really old.)

Highkey babidi could give most of his team the Majin boost and posssibly could control more evil characters, such as all of Universe 9 and Frost
Monster Carrot just turn people into carrots, Ginyu spams Body Change and harms every body he switches into, Guldo freezes time and nobody can do anything about it, Janemba just would just weave everything and cut down the stage, Oolang would distract everyone with his shapeshifting, Mister Satan would have plot armor, and Arale would just not lose 😂
Also, Devilman would be disqualified for killing but he could get rid of Jiren early on. Babadi would just annoy the hell out of everyone with his magic, and possibly mind control some people.
this is a masterpiece it made me cry 68.5 times of joy,pain,allergies and any emotion you can think of and the final scene hit so hard
Jiren in Ginyu's body would definitely go to his own Universe's bench. His soul would be easily distinguishable as Jiren's. If he went to the other team's bench then that would mean that captain Ginyu has to fight for Universe 11 and fight against Universe 7 which is bad writing.

I always thought ANY of these characters could have defeated Zamasu and Goku Black.
Sure he's immortal, but if he was touched by Mr. Carrot he'd be a carrot.
This was really fun Mondo, tho if I had to make up my own silly team, I'd replace the bunny with Dr Rachi from Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans if were pulling movie villains into the mix, and replace Oolong with Goku Black or Zamasu like you said, on the technicality that the body or at least half of it in the Meged case was stolen from universe 7, so in a means of redemption, Zamasu would be forced to tag in alongside the filthy mortals ;)

Boss carrot could get a handful of 'kills' by being stealthy. If he waits until the fight breaks up into groups, he can manage here and there to maybe get 3-4 people if we're being a tad optimistic. If he 'offers' to team up with another fighter or two and seal it with a handshake, he could get lucky.

Side note for babidi. 1: Vegeta let himself get possessed, and 2: It was Vegeta pride that stopped Babidi from taking complete control. Strength had nothing to do with the possession

Who knows though - Xeno might see them and say "those are like the BIG dragon baaallllls!!!" and let it happen LOL
