My headcanon is that there's no way the Frieza Force could have managed to hunt down and exterminate every last saiyan other than Goku/Kakarot, Raditz, Nappa, Vegeta, Broly, Paragus, Tarble and Onio. Especially considering the existence of exiles that went completely off the radar, plus the fact that the Saiyan population on Planet Vegeta is descended from refugees from the destroyed planet of Sadala. The chances of there being multiple groups that left Sadala for different destinations, of there being exile populations from both Sadala and Vegeta, of there being other Saiyan teams who ignored or just didn't receive the recall order, and possibly even of pirates and other willful deserters, are very high.
I mean why not? At this point we have more proof that sayians are inherently good without friezas control then proof that they are inherently evil,why wouldn't you leave?
@@TheVindicitive I wouldn't say we have proof that the U7 saiyans are inherently good without Frieza's influence, it's more that we have proof that they're just regular people without Frieza's influence. Albeit very aggressive, regular people with an instinctual drive towards combat and trying to be the best at everything. Honestly, had they been allowed to develop naturally, I'd say the U7 Saiyans would end up very similar to the Klingons from Star Trek culturally, particularly the TNG Klingons, but a bit more rough around the edges.
For a series that's often accused of being all about the Saiyans, it's amazing how much restraint they had regarding introducing new ones. I guess the problem is that we're so late into the timeline, any surviving Saiyan would either be really old or just another baby that happened to be sent away.

That Xenoverse mention 14:28 would be a good set up. Imagine if instead of bringing Trunks back from death after his defeat by Perfect Cell. When they try, Shenron says he is still alive and it's beyond his power to retrieve him. Trunks getting yoinked from time at the end of the cell saga has so much potential to change and develop things.

I would love to see Vegeta take the super dragon balls and wish for the planet of the saiyans and all its inhabitants to be brought back. Dragon Ball will be accelerated to a whole nother level because there are two planets that the saiyans lived on, so they were both be brought back and one would be in the mist of a civil war. Thinking about writing a Guardians of the Galaxy esque/space pirate bounty hunter style DBZ Fanfiction where there was enough saiyan survivors to populate small settlements here and there in remote isolated worlds. My main character is a Pure-blooded saiyan born after planet vegeta was destroyed (he's around the same age as Gohan)
I actually have a saiyan OC. A descendant of Vegeta and Bulma through Bulla's side of the bloodline, going by the name of Candy. On learning about her part-alien heritage from an old book she found she used them brains she inherited from her bulma side to pick out the non-human genes and, through several tests [some being questionably ethical] she managed to override her human biology almost entirely. More tests resulted in figuring out how to rewrite human genetics even in humans who don't have any saiyan blood, and ultimately the New Saiyans left for another world with her as their queen. These new saiyans are not QUITE as violent, and have more normal sounding names, but are definitely saiyan, with the tails and super saiyan potential and everything. Not quite a survivor but a distant descendant of one.
The fact that time travel exists in the dragonball universe, and they don't use it to stop frieza destroying planet vegeta, makes me wonder what kind of paradox that would cause.
The Prince takes longer to become a “good guy”, and his influence causes the now freed Saiyans to be a larger threat to the universe than Frieza ever was. Planets with people at Dodoria and Zarbon levels of power are safer for a few months to half a decade. Planets at Ginyu force levels, safe for a few years to decades. Cell level, safe for a few decades to a century. Buu level planets, are safe for multiple centuries. These estimates are assuming the gods do not intervene, or the Saiyans settle down and become closer in temperament to their Universe 6 counterparts.
I’ll still never forgive Fusions for not adding Tarble and not giving us Vegetarble as a fusion 😆 I like Neko Majin Z too, especially Kuriza because the idea of Frieza having a son is hilarious 😂 Also I love Z Broly God’s design. I know it’s basically like his SSJ3 form with slight changes but I just think it looks cool. Also I loved how Heroes manga basically confirmed that Beat’s timeline is the same time period as Goku Jr’s plus implies that Beat is Goku Jr’s cousin (which I take as Beat being a descendant of Goten since Goku Jr is Gohan’s descendant). I think they showed Beat’s mother who looks like Chi-Chi so I take it as her being a hybrid Saiyan too like Vegeta Jr’s mother (even though their Saiyan blood is probably very small like the boys). Bio-Clone or Androids with Saiyan DNA…well like you mentioned Cell and Bio-Broly. But also the Cell Jr’s, Mira and Fu from Online/Xenoverse/Heroes, and technically Android 21 if I recall since I think she was made similarly to how Cell was but also had Buu’s DNA added. I’m probably forgetting some others. Honestly if they had Saiyan prisoners in the Galactic Patrol prison, I could see them using that as a chance to introduce Turles into canon by revealing he was arrested sometime before the planet was destroyed which is why he survived. Maybe he was arrested as a young teen which would let him still look somewhat young unlike Paragus.
I'm 100% on board with your idea that there could have been Saiyans scattered all over the place that were either left for dead, captured, exiled or just left of their own accord by the time Planet Vegeta was destroyed, but I'd like to add another possibility to the mix - remember, Planet Vegeta wasn't the original Saiyan homeworld. The Saiyan population on that planet was descended from refugees from their original homeworld of Sadala, why couldn't there be multiple groups of refugees settled on various planets? Granted, this kinda requires us to ignore the "only 28 inhabited planets left in Universe 7" line Whis drops during Super, but honestly that's a very nonsensical line anyway. Anyway, I have a Saiyan OC named Tako-Su. Yes, I know, not a vegetable pun. She's named after a dish that's technically a salad, though (octopus sashimi over seaweed and cucumbers). Anyway, Tako-Su is a former PTO warrior who, during her career with the PTO, was such an insufferable jerk her coworkers conspired to basically ditch her to the other side of the universe, far away from Cold Empire territory. She ended up on planet Fillet Mignon (dumb name, but it fits the setting seeing as we have planets named Plant, Meat, Vegeta, Salad and all the Frieza Planets), originally expecting to conquer it but realizing what happened when she finds out her scouter is out of range of the PTO communications network. She then sets out on her own, gets involved in a bunch of hijinx (including fighting an insane Saiyan clone made by a Mashinjin and getting involved in an ongoing conflict between Saiyan and Icejin splinter factions), before eventually teaming up with a Majin pop idol (said majin is technically pure, just significantly more intelligent than Kid Buu while also being somewhat less powerful than Fat Buu). And if you're wondering, she's still a jerk, but she's mellowed out significantly.
The 28 inhabited planets thing absolutely _should_ be ignored: Freeza's empire had planets numbered into the triple digits, and moreover no empire that lives on selling planets could sustain itself with so few planets. And yet it doez
King Vegeta did told prince Vegeta how they send all the weakest Saiyans are send off to distant worlds. I feel plenty of those would have been able to survive the Freeza goon squads. Do love the idea of a bunch of those "weak" Saiyans came together to rebuild their species. Somewhere in another galaxy, just biding their time.
Even though it seems like an Asspule its actually pretty reasonable they are dozens of Saiyan Survivors we don’t know about. Like we see what happened with Broly, the Saiyans were a Intergalactic invasion force. Theres a million reasons why one could’ve not been on Planet Vegeta and given its a whole species that’s spread across the entire universe , its logical Frieza would’ve missed some.
With all the different survivors, including the supernova apparently sending Bardock back in time, I’m beginning to wonder if the blast even killed anyone.
In short, every Saiyan that either disobeyed the order to return to Planet Vegeta, didn't receive it or hadn't arrived at the planet yet... And had the good fortune not to encounter Frieza's wrath up until the plot brings them to the main cast's attention.

Years ago I wrote a fanfic with a group of Saiya-Jin survivors. They were sent out to conquer a planet, however when they got there, their comms was destroyed and everyone thought they died. Until they returned to Planet Vejita and found rubble. That's my kind of Pure Blooded SJ to be added. One that doesn't break canon and makes sense.

i wonder if goku's fall and loss of his saiyan behavior, and then raditz's comments about him not knowing what he should despite having no sources to learn about it would mean it's not their actual behavior, but something programmed into them. sure, they're still a warrior race, but the psychopathic behavior most of them show could be something either they do to themselves to increase their effectiveness, or freeza's doing. the saiyans in the other universe don't have that behavior, they're more like post-fall goku.

I'm trying to remember what my Saiyan OC was called. I want to say Tater, and he was weak, He joined Banjo, the Namekian, Taffy, the Majin, and Hickory the Human under Dr. Sundae's (Freeza Clan) tutelage. Banjo was a namekian who didn't understand gardening and got ostracized for killing plants for drinking all the water. Didn't get much further with the others.
There is Xenoverse 2 the player avatar is different from the first one if I remember correctly in the hero colosseum story I think Trunks mentions needing to battle either Goku/Kakarotto or Vegeta to get other saiyans to play meaning other saiyans are there and all of them can’t be from time travel

I've always wished that they would establish that King Vegeta foresaw that Frieza might try something like destroying the planet and snuck a dozen or a couple of dozen saiyans off of the planet one or two at a time over time and had them establish a colony somewhere out on the edge of the universe just in case. And if all of the sayians on the colony paired up and had a couple of kids there could easily be a small society of 100 or so saiyans out there.
12:10 Tbh, Masked Saiyan from Heroes and Xenoverse are post-EoB version of Bardock. The only other Bardock I can think of that survive is Warrior in Black since the game and its guide never mentioned that he's Xeno Bardock.

Towa said that they have a hard time capture him, implying that Bardock's power made it harder to get caught. You should comment on the videos of Godslayer 射手座の and ask him about Heroes. What kind of saiyan I would make. Depends. I have some options: - A husband and wife combo, probably low class who weren't even fighters but great at thinking up clever tactics (no not brilliant scientists) - A woman captured by an alien race for the crimes of her people. She escapes by becoming super saiyan after seeing one of her jailbird friends brutally executed. She barley reigns in her new powers and steals a ship. - Two childeren (brothers or maybe a bro/sis combo) were sent to another planet but their pods malfunctions and no data on their former lives remain. On their new home planet of giants they are known as the strong pinky's. Not only because they have pink skin while the giants are grey but because their adult height is just about a pinky finger to them. Still their "mom" loves them and is impressed that her small children can go toe to toe with their older giant siblings. When the Frieza force arrives and starts to take over the planet, the two discover a new power deep within after an initial defeat: Zenkai!
I have a somewhat concept for a what if involving Fasha. In it, she actuatll survived and via misinput she winds up on earth and found by Grampa Gohan. Since shes stuck on earth she stays with thw old guy helping him raise Goku aka Kakarot.
I mean, the logic behind vegeta somehow knowing there were only 2 left never really made sense to begin with. Bro was a child when the planet was destroyed, there's no way he could be aware of every saiyan that was exiled, MIA, dead but not really, possible children born off world, and I assume Goku couldn't have been the only one that was off world at the time since their world's entire society thrives on saiyans taking over worlds. To say that he had a detailed memory of every last possibility is absurd so more saiyans showing up never really surprised me
There has to be more Saiyans because they were still sending out Saiyan babies to distant planets before Planet Vegeta got obliterated. If Planet Vegeta is a small planet, sending out Saiyan babies about every week, taking the baby after a year back to Planet Vegeta after destroying the target planet, there should be 8-9 more somewhere. Unless they sent out less frequently.
If I remember correctly, Planet Vegeta wasn't even the Sayian home planet, they were from Saldala. So it possible there are some sayians that never were associated with Planet Vegeta

Thinking about writing a Guardians of the Galaxy esque/space pirate bounty hunter style DBZ Fanfiction where there was enough saiyan survivors to populate small settlements here and there in remote isolated worlds. My main character is a Pure-blooded saiyan born after planet vegeta was destroyed (he's around the same age as Gohan)
If they were to make Turles canon him being captured by the galactic patrol and the escaping would be a good idea

I actually have a saiyan OC. A descendant of Vegeta and Bulma through Bulla's side of the bloodline, going by the name of Candy. On learning about her part-alien heritage from an old book she found she used them brains she inherited from her bulma side to pick out the non-human genes and, through several tests [some being questionably ethical] she managed to override her human biology almost entirely. More tests resulted in figuring out how to rewrite human genetics even in humans who don't have any saiyan blood, and ultimately the New Saiyans left for another world with her as their queen. These new saiyans are not QUITE as violent, and have more normal sounding names, but are definitely saiyan, with the tails and super saiyan potential and everything.
Not quite a survivor but a distant descendant of one.

The fact that time travel exists in the dragonball universe, and they don't use it to stop frieza destroying planet vegeta, makes me wonder what kind of paradox that would cause.
The Prince takes longer to become a “good guy”, and his influence causes the now freed Saiyans to be a larger threat to the universe than Frieza ever was.
Planets with people at Dodoria and Zarbon levels of power are safer for a few months to half a decade.
Planets at Ginyu force levels, safe for a few years to decades.
Cell level, safe for a few decades to a century.
Buu level planets, are safe for multiple centuries.
These estimates are assuming the gods do not intervene, or the Saiyans settle down and become closer in temperament to their Universe 6 counterparts.

Also I loved how Heroes manga basically confirmed that Beat’s timeline is the same time period as Goku Jr’s plus implies that Beat is Goku Jr’s cousin (which I take as Beat being a descendant of Goten since Goku Jr is Gohan’s descendant). I think they showed Beat’s mother who looks like Chi-Chi so I take it as her being a hybrid Saiyan too like Vegeta Jr’s mother (even though their Saiyan blood is probably very small like the boys).
Bio-Clone or Androids with Saiyan DNA…well like you mentioned Cell and Bio-Broly. But also the Cell Jr’s, Mira and Fu from Online/Xenoverse/Heroes, and technically Android 21 if I recall since I think she was made similarly to how Cell was but also had Buu’s DNA added. I’m probably forgetting some others.
Honestly if they had Saiyan prisoners in the Galactic Patrol prison, I could see them using that as a chance to introduce Turles into canon by revealing he was arrested sometime before the planet was destroyed which is why he survived. Maybe he was arrested as a young teen which would let him still look somewhat young unlike Paragus.
I'm 100% on board with your idea that there could have been Saiyans scattered all over the place that were either left for dead, captured, exiled or just left of their own accord by the time Planet Vegeta was destroyed, but I'd like to add another possibility to the mix - remember, Planet Vegeta wasn't the original Saiyan homeworld. The Saiyan population on that planet was descended from refugees from their original homeworld of Sadala, why couldn't there be multiple groups of refugees settled on various planets?
Granted, this kinda requires us to ignore the "only 28 inhabited planets left in Universe 7" line Whis drops during Super, but honestly that's a very nonsensical line anyway.
Anyway, I have a Saiyan OC named Tako-Su. Yes, I know, not a vegetable pun. She's named after a dish that's technically a salad, though (octopus sashimi over seaweed and cucumbers). Anyway, Tako-Su is a former PTO warrior who, during her career with the PTO, was such an insufferable jerk her coworkers conspired to basically ditch her to the other side of the universe, far away from Cold Empire territory. She ended up on planet Fillet Mignon (dumb name, but it fits the setting seeing as we have planets named Plant, Meat, Vegeta, Salad and all the Frieza Planets), originally expecting to conquer it but realizing what happened when she finds out her scouter is out of range of the PTO communications network. She then sets out on her own, gets involved in a bunch of hijinx (including fighting an insane Saiyan clone made by a Mashinjin and getting involved in an ongoing conflict between Saiyan and Icejin splinter factions), before eventually teaming up with a Majin pop idol (said majin is technically pure, just significantly more intelligent than Kid Buu while also being somewhat less powerful than Fat Buu). And if you're wondering, she's still a jerk, but she's mellowed out significantly.
You should make a comic about it. If you do I will read it.

Even though it seems like an Asspule its actually pretty reasonable they are dozens of Saiyan Survivors we don’t know about. Like we see what happened with Broly, the Saiyans were a Intergalactic invasion force. Theres a million reasons why one could’ve not been on Planet Vegeta and given its a whole species that’s spread across the entire universe , its logical Frieza would’ve missed some.

With all the different survivors, including the supernova apparently sending Bardock back in time, I’m beginning to wonder if the blast even killed anyone.
In short, every Saiyan that either disobeyed the order to return to Planet Vegeta, didn't receive it or hadn't arrived at the planet yet...
And had the good fortune not to encounter Frieza's wrath up until the plot brings them to the main cast's attention.

Years ago I wrote a fanfic with a group of Saiya-Jin survivors. They were sent out to conquer a planet, however when they got there, their comms was destroyed and everyone thought they died. Until they returned to Planet Vejita and found rubble.
That's my kind of Pure Blooded SJ to be added. One that doesn't break canon and makes sense.

i wonder if goku's fall and loss of his saiyan behavior, and then raditz's comments about him not knowing what he should despite having no sources to learn about it would mean it's not their actual behavior, but something programmed into them. sure, they're still a warrior race, but the psychopathic behavior most of them show could be something either they do to themselves to increase their effectiveness, or freeza's doing. the saiyans in the other universe don't have that behavior, they're more like post-fall goku.
Id love to see a "WHAT if Raditz became an android?" Where his body was turned into a replacement android 19 then he turns good and even bas some kids. I used that in my own au and my main oc is his son.

I'm trying to remember what my Saiyan OC was called. I want to say Tater, and he was weak, He joined Banjo, the Namekian, Taffy, the Majin, and Hickory the Human under Dr. Sundae's (Freeza Clan) tutelage. Banjo was a namekian who didn't understand gardening and got ostracized for killing plants for drinking all the water. Didn't get much further with the others.
There is Xenoverse 2 the player avatar is different from the first one if I remember correctly in the hero colosseum story I think Trunks mentions needing to battle either Goku/Kakarotto or Vegeta to get other saiyans to play meaning other saiyans are there and all of them can’t be from time travel

I've always wished that they would establish that King Vegeta foresaw that Frieza might try something like destroying the planet and snuck a dozen or a couple of dozen saiyans off of the planet one or two at a time over time and had them establish a colony somewhere out on the edge of the universe just in case. And if all of the sayians on the colony paired up and had a couple of kids there could easily be a small society of 100 or so saiyans out there.

12:10 Tbh, Masked Saiyan from Heroes and Xenoverse are post-EoB version of Bardock. The only other Bardock I can think of that survive is Warrior in Black since the game and its guide never mentioned that he's Xeno Bardock.
The story of him in those games is a little weird, but in Xenoverse we see Mira and Towa take him FROM the death ball scene
@@SmugStick It was implied that they sent him back in time to EoB event, which is how he got SS1, and they try to capture him after that. Towa said that they have a hard time capture him, implying that Bardock's power made it harder to get caught. You should comment on the videos of Godslayer 射手座の and ask him about Heroes. Depends.
I have some options:
- A husband and wife combo, probably low class who weren't even fighters but great at thinking up clever tactics (no not brilliant scientists)
- A woman captured by an alien race for the crimes of her people. She escapes by becoming super saiyan after seeing one of her jailbird friends brutally executed. She barley reigns in her new powers and steals a ship.
- Two childeren (brothers or maybe a bro/sis combo) were sent to another planet but their pods malfunctions and no data on their former lives remain.
On their new home planet of giants they are known as the strong pinky's. Not only because they have pink skin while the giants are grey but because their adult height is just about a pinky finger to them.
Still their "mom" loves them and is impressed that her small children can go toe to toe with their older giant siblings.
When the Frieza force arrives and starts to take over the planet, the two discover a new power deep within after an initial defeat: Zenkai!
I have a somewhat concept for a what if involving Fasha. In it, she actuatll survived and via misinput she winds up on earth and found by Grampa Gohan. Since shes stuck on earth she stays with thw old guy helping him raise Goku aka Kakarot.

I mean, the logic behind vegeta somehow knowing there were only 2 left never really made sense to begin with. Bro was a child when the planet was destroyed, there's no way he could be aware of every saiyan that was exiled, MIA, dead but not really, possible children born off world, and I assume Goku couldn't have been the only one that was off world at the time since their world's entire society thrives on saiyans taking over worlds. To say that he had a detailed memory of every last possibility is absurd so more saiyans showing up never really surprised me

If i remember well in Dragon Ball Online the Saiyan race survives by interbreeding with the earthlings.
There has to be more Saiyans because they were still sending out Saiyan babies to distant planets before Planet Vegeta got obliterated. If Planet Vegeta is a small planet, sending out Saiyan babies about every week, taking the baby after a year back to Planet Vegeta after destroying the target planet, there should be 8-9 more somewhere. Unless they sent out less frequently.

If I remember correctly, Planet Vegeta wasn't even the Sayian home planet, they were from Saldala. So it possible there are some sayians that never were associated with Planet Vegeta
