    I tape the edge of my boxes/seal every edge of the box … it supports the box, skips the plastic step , guarantees no water in the box plus it shows I took the time on the order. Goes a long way thanks for your insight love the videos and the purchase price points from the seller perspective

    The hat from Alaska, Wrangell is pronounced Wrangle (rang-guh), and the w is silent. Also, that's not a lake, It's a large river. The Stilkine River runs from Canada to the Pacific Ocean, near Wrangell. Nice video and hats, by the way.

    eBay sells plastic wig stands which I use to dry my hats I wash. For heavily stained hats I put Oxi -Clean in a tub of water and let them soak for a few hours, I go swish them around occasionally and rinse with running water. Usually cleans the hats very well.

    Mace did a great job going into detail about cleaning and all. I always wondered what a trucker hat was. I usually just leave the hats dirty and disclose. Maybe that's why they haven't sold yet LOL.

    Great video! I do sell hats, but they aren’t a huge part of my business. I do know that “Mickey Unlimited” was sold at Kmart. I recently sold NWT overalls and the paper “Mickey Unlimited” tag had Kmart printed on it.

    So do you buy used hats? I won a storage unit, no idea how to clean them , if they are authentic? Trying to sell them all at once to somebody who can clean them up and make money off them. Just looking for a fair price not trying to get retail

    When you post an item as vintage, is it due to research and personal knowledge or is there a solid guideline you go by? Also, does vintage definition vary according to what you’re selling?
    I’m currently selling a number of Christmas ornaments for a friend that seem vintage but I hesitate to use that word in the descriptions unless I know the year of manufacture or use.

      Your videos are so helpful to me. I’m also appreciative that you’re thorough but not long winded. 😊

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah it kinda depends on the item. Sometimes I need to know the history - who had it, when they got it.
      Clothing can be a bit easier- Made in USA, Taiwan, Korea, all indicate vintage as well as union labels and metal zippers.
      Other items I look for: made in USA, Japan, West Germany.
      Besides that some research, vintage ads if possible, experience- yes. Quality of item helps- modern repros are usually cheaply made.
      Some items you can’t say for sure so I don’t.

      So truly Vintage is anything 20 years or older as in 2003 is now considered vintage. And antique is 100 years or older, so 1923 is Antique 😉👩‍🌾

      K-Brand is HUGE. When the foam is bad, you cand just vacuum it out and I will wash it afterwards 👩‍🌾

    If a hat is pretty grimy can you put it in the washing machine without it getting ruined?

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You can use one of those hat cages I believe- and depends what it’s made of. No foam. 😊

    How can I find out if there is any value to a mickymouse baseball hat?

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd start with the Google App - you can use photo search on there to see if you can find any others like yours available for sale. The Ebay app also has a photo search and you can filter for solds to see prices.
      Do you think it's vintage?

    Why does “made in Taiwan ROC” make it vintage? That’s what they are called now

    • @pishposhreselling
      @pishposhreselling  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It has more to do with the use of ROC and what labels/wording was used in different time periods. Taiwan ROC is generally 70s 80s
