Thank you everyone for your continued support and for watching!!
I tape the edge of my boxes/seal every edge of the box … it supports the box, skips the plastic step , guarantees no water in the box plus it shows I took the time on the order. Goes a long way thanks for your insight love the videos and the purchase price points from the seller perspective
I look forward to the video on how you take pictures of caps and hats. I would love it if you could also talk about lighting your photos for eBay
👍🏻👍🏻
I wish I could give you, Mace a million thumbs up! Thank you so very much for sharing your tips and expertise. Loved this video! Yours is my favorite channel.
You are so welcome! We appreciate you watching!!
Great educational video
I got lucky digging in the closet and found a John Deere hat , cat hat, and a Chicago Bulls hat I believe and it's corduroy . I looked them up after researching Hat videos seems to be they are worth over $100 I'm so excited.❤ thanks for the useful information.
That’s great! It was your closet??
@@pishposhreselling well it was inherited, my father in law passed away a few years ago. We just found them in a closet he stored things in.
The hat from Alaska, Wrangell is pronounced Wrangle (rang-guh), and the w is silent. Also, that's not a lake, It's a large river. The Stilkine River runs from Canada to the Pacific Ocean, near Wrangell. Nice video and hats, by the way.
Thank you for this and all your videos! They're so informative and helpful.
Thank you for watching!!
So much good info! Thank you!
Thanks!
Great video. Thank you!
Thanks!
Very informative!!
Hope it helps!
eBay sells plastic wig stands which I use to dry my hats I wash. For heavily stained hats I put Oxi -Clean in a tub of water and let them soak for a few hours, I go swish them around occasionally and rinse with running water. Usually cleans the hats very well.
Love Oxyclean!
Mace did a great job going into detail about cleaning and all. I always wondered what a trucker hat was. I usually just leave the hats dirty and disclose. Maybe that's why they haven't sold yet LOL.
Thanks! I’d probably leave them dirty too or not pick them up lol. I’m glad he does the cleaning…I’m not detailed enough. 😂
Really cool video!
Thanks!!
Great Video. !
Thanks!
Yay!!! Thank yall for making this video! What are some good key words for each type of hat?
I will have another video this week with that info!
You two are such a cute couple! Thanks for the video
Thanks!! 😊😊
Great video. I now know the difference between a trucker hat and a baseball cap
Great!!
Great video! I do sell hats, but they aren’t a huge part of my business. I do know that “Mickey Unlimited” was sold at Kmart. I recently sold NWT overalls and the paper “Mickey Unlimited” tag had Kmart printed on it.
Thanks for the info! I had a vague memory of it being department store-ish.
What size is the cellophane (polymailer) he used for the hat? I want to order the same size using the link. I have a lot of hats!
Sorry for the delay! We use a 14” x 11”. Thanks!
Thank you so much!
So do you buy used hats? I won a storage unit, no idea how to clean them , if they are authentic? Trying to sell them all at once to somebody who can clean them up and make money off them. Just looking for a fair price not trying to get retail
Let me check with my hubby. Shoot some photos if you can to recycleista@gmail.com. Thanks!
When you post an item as vintage, is it due to research and personal knowledge or is there a solid guideline you go by? Also, does vintage definition vary according to what you’re selling?
I’m currently selling a number of Christmas ornaments for a friend that seem vintage but I hesitate to use that word in the descriptions unless I know the year of manufacture or use.
Your videos are so helpful to me. I’m also appreciative that you’re thorough but not long winded. 😊
Yeah it kinda depends on the item. Sometimes I need to know the history - who had it, when they got it.
Clothing can be a bit easier- Made in USA, Taiwan, Korea, all indicate vintage as well as union labels and metal zippers.
Other items I look for: made in USA, Japan, West Germany.
Besides that some research, vintage ads if possible, experience- yes. Quality of item helps- modern repros are usually cheaply made.
Some items you can’t say for sure so I don’t.
Thanks!
So truly Vintage is anything 20 years or older as in 2003 is now considered vintage. And antique is 100 years or older, so 1923 is Antique 😉👩🌾
K-Brand is HUGE. When the foam is bad, you cand just vacuum it out and I will wash it afterwards 👩🌾
If a hat is pretty grimy can you put it in the washing machine without it getting ruined?
You can use one of those hat cages I believe- and depends what it’s made of. No foam. 😊
@@pishposhreselling thanks!
How can I find out if there is any value to a mickymouse baseball hat?
I'd start with the Google App - you can use photo search on there to see if you can find any others like yours available for sale. The Ebay app also has a photo search and you can filter for solds to see prices.
Do you think it's vintage?
Do you shape your hats?
Sometimes if needed.
Instead of hair dryer, could you just put in dryer on low temp delicate
As long as it keeps shape. At this point we stuff them and air dry mostly
Why does “made in Taiwan ROC” make it vintage? That’s what they are called now
It has more to do with the use of ROC and what labels/wording was used in different time periods. Taiwan ROC is generally 70s 80s
