I don't sell a ton of hats but I have noticed corduroy is popular right now and I have sold 2 corduroy hats this season, one was a Ralph Lauren and the other was a vintage 90s surf brand hat. I think the RL was almost vintage probably 15 years old. Anyways they both sold for over $50. The surf one was over $80 and sold in 5 minutes. The best hat I've ever sold (and I probably undersold it) was many years ago. I found it at a church sale and it was a vintage Grateful Dead hat. I couldn't figure it out beause it had the steal your face graphic in a basketball hoop and was like green and yellow instead of the traditional red and blue. Apparently the Dead was the sponser for the Lithuian Olympic basketball team and thats what the hat was from. It was a fun sale and I enjoyed figuring out the backstory. It sold to a collector who begged me for better price and I think it sold for $150 but that was almost 10 years ago now
Even though I hear some of this randomly, from you and others, I love these reminders! I need these to spark my sourcing eye! Lots I hadn’t heard though, like spellout! I like buying hats. Easy to ship, too , but I’ve had a couple where I really wished I had a bigger box.
Thank you for sharing this. Never really considered before hats but i will definitely being paying more attention now! And now, I also want a Cheese It cap!
Aaargh! I found a Sports Specialties SF Giants cap at an estate sale last Sat and didn't buy it. I figured there are millions of Giants caps so why buy it. It was used but nice condition. For $3 I should have taken a chance. I did buy his fire fighter caps since that was his job and he worked for the state rather than city. This was the last day of the sale so for 3 days nobody grabbed the hats. I still haven't done and research, 1 hat has a matching tee I found in his closet. Hoping there is a market for them.
Also heard and have noticed any hats with 3 stripes and hats with the shark teeth. Not sure if thats what you call it but I actually always thought that was the sharks team that only had that but nope. Lol Anyways just another tip I heard that any hats with those traits definately increase the value. Thank you for the info loved this🤗
very well done. thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Nice sales! I sold a corduroy hat today! Not for that much but still a decent sale.
