What a great video! But I recommend using a jar or small pyrex bowls, rather than anything plastic like a ziplock bag (for health and for environmental reasons).
If anyone’s looking at this today and can you tell me if I should throw some toasted pecans into Paula Deen‘s pumpkin gooey butter cake, please let me know! I don’t know if I should put it in the batter or on top if I use them at all. That recipe by Paula Deen is incredible.
We love Paula’s recipes! I would toast the nuts, dust them lightly with flour and fold into the batter. The nuts would we great sprinkled on top too! Either or I don’t think there’s a wrong choice.
