Little trick. Turn the heater dial all the way to red and turn a bit more. It will spring back a small bit but that activates max hot air mode. Including heated windscreen etc. Saves pressing many buttons. Have you got the ford app? Using remote start you can start your van from inside your home and for a set time (sorted in the instrument cluster) the van engine will run and get the windscreen demisted and air con going. You can set it so it turns on to the last setting. So in summer it will get nice and cold for you. And in winter if you leave it on max clear mode before you leave the van, the day after when you remote start it will be on max clear and try to get warm air. Hope that makes sense.
I've been putting my diesel heater on timer to come on through the night. It means the van is throughly defrosted when I leave in the morning. I initially started putting it on because I saw that the touch screen control panel started playing up when it was really cold. That little diesel heater really does work wonders.
Great to hear from you (after the children stealing the show before!) and how the ‘all year round’ nugget is coping with the chilly season. Good tips. If anyone is not using it regularly for journeys, charging up the leisure battery is important too. Good advice on this in the Ford handbook, as if it falls to 12.1 it can cause problems. Nadolig Llawen - Season’s Greetings to you all.

Thanks Gregs- this is really useful to know. One of us had the Ford app- but need to reinstall it on new phone. There's a vlog there I think!

Sounds like you have got it sorted for your needs.
Love that accent! 😘 Greetings from Germany!🎅
Thanks for watching Charlie
Totally agree - great features that make the Nugget a versatile all-year campervan!
Absolutely. Thanks for watching.
keen to find a Nugget Plus somewhere, looks a nice van..
Big fans of the Nugget plus and the SWB nugget- such great van layouts aren't they.

Hi did you ever have issues starting up diesel heater due to water build up at exhaust hose from the heater itself?
Hi- no we haven't had any issues with the diesel heater.
