    I enjoyed this interview Mr Boessenecker. I have read several of your researched books. Ride the Devils herd, Wildcat, Shotgun and
    Stagecoaches I own these books. I have enjoyed reading them thanks to David Grasse’.

    Charles Bowles AKA Black Bart ( T!he Gentleman Bandit)
    Is buried in Marysville, California .

      That is a recent myth, invented by a couple of modern writers. I explain in the book why that is impossible. The man buried in that Marysville grave had no connection with Black Bart.

    Black Bart was a local bandit , holding up at least 4 stages in the surrounding area of Mendocino County , Ca .
    It’s still a rather lawless area - even more so in his day I suppose
