Why is edge so different from ie? I have almost all of my sites that I visited in my favorites listed on ie, and I mainly use chrome for Facebook, gmail and TH-cam! Edge is confusing to me?
Microsoft really wanted to create a completely new product with Edge, and actually borrowed some tips from other browsers like Google Chrome and Firefox, thinking that'd satisfy anti-Internet Explorer crowds. It hasn't really been as successful as they'd hoped. :-)
@@neadomtucker I am in my 70's only familiar with the IE as far as the task bar ( file, view, edit, favorites, and help etc.....which Edge doesn't have, or at least doesn't show! Plus Edge was not excepting my antivirus (Norton) among other things! I don't know the technical terminology for what I am trying to say! Microsoft didn't explain the technology sufficiently (I feel) for us older users when they "offered? felt like forced" the switch to Windows 10!

IE doesn't have a good rep, so edge was developed to be completely different

INTERNET EXPLORER WAS MY FAVOURITE BROWSER BACK WHEN I USED WINDOWS 95 IT WAS THE BEST AND I STILL USE IT TO THIS DAY!

I have a hp and I got a message from Microsoft edge saying that someone is trying to hack my ip address. Now my computer is stuck on that screen. What can I do
Shut off your pc and reboot.
malvertising, it's not a message from edge, it's malicous code disguised as an ad, probably ransomware

You know when we recorded it I was a chrome fan but the new Edge I like better now. It is based on Chromium though.
Who uses internet explorer? its only purpose is to download chrome

@@arakemi1080 bing is a flawed search engine, google has much less flaws, but it still has them, generally i recommend duckduckgo and firefox
i said it was chrome with bing because it's source code is based on chromium, which in other terms is chromes source code with minimal changes between them
