I love how the devs made their own lore to this. Instead of a demonic force inspiriting Sonic, it's a sentient AI who chose to kill out of vengeance against SEGA's practices and later to keep the cause hidden.
This is an actual good Sonic.EXE game, along with Spirits of Hell and Nightmare Beginnings. This has a nice twist in the original creepypasta, where Sonic is more of an AI rather than just a Demonic possessed game. The jumpscares were average, not too scary but not too in-your-face like the original Sonic.EXE game. The story was somewhat well-paced and easy to follow. I actually loved it and made sense I would give this a 18/20. The thing that held it back for me was how you didnt spend that much time learning about the characters. It is really good and can be forgiven. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who loves Sonic horror
I call it an accurate Sonic.exe game cuz Exe stands for Executable file And Sonic.exe in my opinion, is a Virus or a malware infecting and corrupting the game

I honestly believe the intro of this mod makes more sense, "musically" wise, than the Buried Alive theme with a bunch of distorted "SEGA" chants slapped on it like we got in Sally.exe and its remakes.

Really well made-but unfortunately it’s cheesy. I found myself laughing at it rather than being scared of it. I don’t think my younger self would even be scared either. The monologues are boring and I hate that loud noise = scary. It’s still good but it’s not that hard to have a good .exe game when all the others are kind of just trash and made by children.
