@GamingNubs yeah exactly, and its just really inconvenient to pick all of them up it makes sense for when you get hit because its supposed to be a punishment, but getting rings from a monitor is supposed to be convenient i really dont think its a good idea, it just makes it a chore if you want to get all of the rings from a monitor and if youre not interested in doing that because you literally have to stop and run around to catch the rings, then youll probably only pick up one or two rings from that monitor which as you said, defeats the purpose
I love that you can go in and out of a spin attack after bouncing off a spring and wal jump, these are all things I always wished you could do in the main 2D games

I have to say this game looks REALLY nice! There's a lot of interesting game mechanics like the wall jump, skipping across the water when you roll. I also love how Ecco just seems to be a background character that does impact gameplay with his own gameplay elements like gems from his game. One thing I do not like at all is how the rings scatter from a TV after you break it causing you to have to go chasing after them like you've been hit. I love the concept of having a boss fight in the special stage, it's got the same energy as how Knuckles Chaotix turned the level selector into the Metal Sonic boss fight.
Not many people are noticing that due to the classic Sonic 1 design being used, but the amount of custom made contextual animation in this game is out of this world! Even Mania didn't do something on this level

I get that's a silly thing to ask, it's just that none of the footage gave off the implication that it's an online game- it just looked like a standard, albeit really good looking, Sonic fangame.
I gave this a play myself and it was pretty fun for what it was. I really enjoyed the water skipping I think it's a natural inclusion that would actually make the official games more fun. Also loved all the cameos from classic vidya characters, it was pretty adorable.
Oh my goodness. This game is so creative, and bright. The quality is amazing. It retains everything that made sonic charming and endearing, while adding graphical techniques that pull sonic into the modern era without losing its 16-bit DNA. Can we also just stop and appreciate the amazing music! The soundtrack is so fitting and relaxing, while still encouraging the player to progress through the level.
How is no one talking about that gruesome ending?? 😳 I honestly love this fan game! I really, really wish there were more like this out there because we Sonic fans could really use them!

It looks really pretty! My main gripe is the physics's being pretty weird, like the spindash & the peel-out barely give you any speed while running normally feels like you have speed shoes at all times That's without mentioning that the level design doesn't allow sonic to go fast, there's too many enemies and water on the main path However, give it some work, and it can become a great fan game
the camera needs to be a bit more zoomed out; perhaps it could even have adaptive zoom, where you'd see things slightly further away the faster you were going

the walking smoothed sprites are selfmade, the low speed running sprites comes from sonic mania but with sonic cd palette. If your sprites are used you can see your name in end credits. If you are not in end credits it means your sprites aren't used in the game.

This game looks amazing, I like how it looks. My only problem are the ring monitors, they don't seem very practical, looks cool, but not something I'd considering nabbing as you only get one ring as the others phase through terrain at a speed that isn't possible to get when standing. It does make it so you don't have a clutch, but it's just how I personally think about them.
Looks really nice, almost official! Though I feel like having the Sega logo at the start of this game isn’t quite appropriate if Sega has no connection to this fan game. =P
I believe it’s because saga owns sonic the character so they probably put the sega logo for that reason maybe so the person who made this doesn’t get sued

In this game you can cancel a spindash with the "B" button. The spin-dash haven't worked because he was pushing two buttons at same time.
