well someone IS remaking the game, but they decided to push the "pre-render" look of the original, just making it look good, like it came out straight from a Sega Saturn era.

Hopefully they don't change important things Just so It LOOKS better but at the end is Just not the same game like with triple trouble 16 bit
Triple trouble 16 bit already stated they were aiming to recreate the game like if sega had made it a genesis game around the era, not just give it fancy graphics and call it a day.

@@Mari_Izu As someone who has beaten Sonic Blast 3 times by now there are not a lot of bugs in that game that i encountered just casually playing it ,the closest thing is that sometimes you will stop in front of a loop instead of going through it and that's bcz the loops are scripted,something which also happens in Sonic 1 and 2 for the master system/game gear,and i guess that counts as a bug but its really the only thing i can find

Here’s an idea! Maybe you could go back to the first 3 Maniafied title screens and give the animations! I’d love to see what you do with them, especially after seeing your CD title screen!

@@WohaoG they're long but they're as long as CDs intro. Sonic 1 is just a scrolling green hill, Sonic 2 is a panning west side island. for the most part all of them just jump in and then remain static. I don't know if thats difficult to animat but its not impossible

I'm interested in Mad Gear, since it's the most visually distinct from its "inspirations".
This almost… maybe… makes me want a Sonic Chaos Remake or Triple Trouble 16-bit inspired Sonic Blast remake.
In fact, they are currently working on a fan remake of Sonic Blast called Sonic Blast Nexus and from the little that we have been taught it looks pretty good.

You know, there's actually many things left in sonic blast like title screen,sonic's balancing and fast running animations,the same things with knukles,special stage and zones:yellow desert,red volcano and others. So the choice is yours instead of maniafy next sonic game you can continue maniafying this game

Hope Ice Cap Zone and the trampolines with ring segments at their sides make it into Sonic Studio. It's up to you of couse. Something that flings you higher each time you land on from progressively higher falls has a lot of use cases.

Now if these changes can be put into the game to replace the existing sprite work, but then again I don't think the Sonic Blast engine can handle that level of awesome, being a game gear game!
